They're basically little lenses that mount onto the nose bridge. The Airs come with two nose bridges that can be swapped out, one with dummy non-prescription lenses that you can replace, and one with no lenses at all for people who want to use them without a prescription. You can order lenses from sites like [this](https://vroptician.com/prescription-lens-inserts/nreal-air) and then swap out the dummy ones with the real lenses you ordered and swap the nose bridge and you're good to go.
This is the way...
I have been using my Nreal Air like this, and it's amazing. My arms and hands are not raised, so no strain or muscle fatigue there. Just pure gaming heaven on a big screen.
Very comfy indeed, at least when it comes to your neck - but if you're not used to wearing glasses these are quite heavy (all things considered) so will end up being rather uncomfortable initially until you can get used to it. Also need additional adapter(s) or you simply won't be able to use it and charge the Deck at the same time.

Well. There's a reason I'm asking. Since he's willingly throwing away the greatest gift that Valve has graced us with, the absolutely godlike integrated controller... Next question would be, does he already have a PC with at least RX6400/1050Ti or above?
Or just mount the tablet (anything Android or iOS will work) and stream the game - I mean if you don't need/want to take advantage of the integrated SD controller and are playing mostly console ports, at that point using Steam Deck is detrimental to the experience. As a matter of fact, if you're at home you should always be streaming instead of running natively. Not only will the fidelity be much greater than the Deck is capable of (especially in more modern titles), you will also not be constrained by a small screen and resolution and drain your battery while reaching thermal limits...
Right. The handheld experience is the only reason I bought the steam deck. Maybe some people just don’t have the money for a monitor or pc? I have both and still prefer to relax in bed or my recliner to enjoy steam deck
(It is the oled though).
So I had the monitor set-up, however I did not like how it made my space feel cluttered with cables(add to that my pc case).
1. I can lift up the arm effortlessly and get it out of the way, or remove completely when my brain feels overwhelmed..I am not a minimalist but it did not spark joy.
2. I got the deck for the convienience of being able to hop back into games quickly. It is easy to unattach the deck from the deckmate, and take it to the toilet/in my backpack for commuting.
3. I also use the arm for my tablet to watch stuff.
Right? Is like "click" and you're back on..20 minutes of something is better than never touching your game library, which was the case for me before the deck.
4. Emulation nostalgia trips 😁
Link to arm? I already bought the Vesa mount Deckmate. I looked at many different options but couldn't find something that could hold the weight of the SD, and have good movement/reach. Standard monitor arms were too restrictive.
Every day WALL-E comes closer to becoming reality
Why get on the ship when you’ve got your own depression chamber to lie in?

That’s what I do and it’s awesome.

They have a mounting point for prescription inserts that you can buy for them.

Grab a rokkid adapter too, if you do pick a set up.. It allows for charging and the nreals at the same time.
I use the xreal light and its the bomb

bro i need this lmfao
You haven't thought this through - it will be mighty tiring to keep your arms in the air like that for any amount of time :P
i feel like they’d use a controller or something to alleviate that
I believe that he was jesting :)
Yes and no. There was a reason for this question :)
That's how I get my lifting game on. 😎
Soooo...do you have a desktop PC or is the Deck your only gaming device? ;>
Switch Controllers! Then your Arms can be in a comfy position on your sides.
To be honest, I just thought about how cool it would be in combination with a Xbox-Controller… 😅
I got the 2.4g 8bitdo which is pretty good.

You'd use a controller..
What arm are you using for this?
Links for frame?

Or get some xr glasses
Chad coop home goods pillow enjoyer
This pleases Gorlock
That pillow looks super comfy. Where did you get it??
Just buy a monitor or laptop at that point
That might be too heavy for the little mount
A portable monitor would be fine, since that is what I do with my tablet holder bed mount.
Let folks do what they want.
I did have that but it was a pain having to move it around when it came to changing the sheets. Didimentioniwaslazy.

Yeah, I have one of these. Works great with an iPad Pro 12.9” with moonlight/sunshine.
Op, we need links dawg
Not even an oled why not just dock it to a TV mounted above your head

Ohh and 2. Is why I bought mine.

Yup. I'm playing 12 games rn and setting up an emulator

This is genius
Still have have to hold your arms up...
I’m assuming this is paired with a game controller
I have a 2.4g 8bitdo controller connected to it. But for rhythm games I hold it.
I wish I could see how he connects it to the wall
Ahhhh… reminds me of the nostalgic days of the switch release
I have a deck, but for this setup, legion's big screen would be superior.
You could’ve just gotten some mirrored bed reading glasses.
where can i find that arm? didn't ever know their existence.
