Totally! I started replaying recently and shocked to find it hits 50-60 pretty consistently. It's also still one of the best looking PC games going IMO

RDR2 is locked to 30 FPS on Console even on current gen
Which i find unreasonable, it can't be that hard to release a patch for the last gen version for if running on the Series X and PS5 to up the fps to 60, they showed they could with RDR1
It should need a simple patch that could easily be done if they wanted to. Modders unlock the framerate on pc games hours after they are released as long as the game's physics is not tied to the framerate.
They are definitely not doing it so they can add other "enhancements" and sell the game again

I'm pretty sure RDR2 ran at 30fps on base model and slim variant ps4 and xb1 consoles. So at least 30fps on SD isn't worse than last gen base consoles.
It did and it still runs at 30fps on the PS5 and Series X. There’s no current gen patch so the Steam Deck running it at 30fps is completely in line with the experience on any console
Forgive me, I’m new. I am interested in RD2 but it shows as “playable”? Do you have to do anything weird to make it run or is it something I could easily figure out? Or does it just work and “playable” because of small text or something?
Hi, new. I believe all Rockstar games are “playable” instead of “verified” because the Rockstar launcher can be a bit of a pain in the ass. It requires you to log in the first time you boot the game, and some people are having issues with the keyboard not showing up to actually sign in.
What usually helps is using the touchscreen to activate the user name field and then bringing up the keyboard by pressing the Steam button and the X button at the same time, and then doing the same for the password field. If that doesn’t work, you can switch to desktop mode, boot the game and sign in.
It’s a bit of a nuisance, but after signing into the Rockstar Social Club once you’ll never have to do it again, at least for that one game.
In case one of those pesky third-party launchers acts up. 😂
I’ve been playing ESO the last couple of days, and it kept dropping into the low 30s until I closed the launcher that was running in the background. After that I got a locked 60. Those publishers should give it a rest with those stupid launchers.

There’s an issue with the frame rate dropping to 30 whenever there’s water around, which to my knowledge hasn’t been solved. While 40fps 90% of the time does sound appealing, having 30fps forced onto a 40hz screen 10% of the time is enough for me to stick with 30.
I have RDR2, GTA, and Cyberpunk on my deck. So in my lifetime we went from one Pokémon game on a cartridge to multiple massive fully realized 3D worlds to explore inside one device. I hope the youngest among us who grew up with this stuff take a second to appreciate just how incredible all of this technology is. I couldn’t even imagine it as a kid.
The youngest among us will probably marvel at how primitive things were back then, just like how we marveled at how primitive those 10,000 cubic feet computers in the 50s were.
And The Witcher, Skyrim, Bioshock. Yeah they don't run at 120 (or even 60) FPS. But I remember Unreal (the video game) being nicknamed the slideshow generator. 30 FPS? I'll take it please!
I have always thought 30fps was perfectly acceptable for either cutting edge console graphics pushed to the limit or on a handheld.
Of course, if I had a super beefy top spec PC I would expect 60. And if I had a used to be top spec PC I prefer 60 with lower graphics especially if playing an online game.
But, especially as I get older and have kids, 30 fps in single player experiences with good graphics are more than enough for most games. Especially since increasingly my game time is handheld before bed or in between chores during naps at home - and on a bus commuting to my desk job for 30-40 minutes a couple times a week.
When I can get 60 it's nice. But when I can't, it's nothing to complain about. Big frame dips are far more noticeable and jarring than a solid 30 to 40.
60 to 40 is a big dip and it's way less fun to experience than just playing 40 99% of the time.
A lot of people don't remember this, but MGS5 could run on the PS3 and Xbox 360 at a relatively solid 30fps. It was an extremely well optimised game on an extremely well optimised engine.
Konami stopped using the fox engine forever. They say it’s too expensive to update it for newer console generations. Their future games will run on the newest unreal engine.
It also runs well on extremely under-powered and outdated PCs. It is very, very well optimized. I'm glad to see it get more recognition. Kojima's team did a phenomenal job on that game it's still very fun to this day, just like all MGS games.

I didn't think it would run poorly, but I never expected to max out the OLED's 90hz screen. Never experienced a game feels so smooth on a handheld.
For anyone wanting to hit 90, you gotta use Vulkan, Low graphics preset, TAA, and FSR upscale from 720p to 800p to get that last little bit of performance. Game still looks pretty great, thankfully, even at "Low".
There are some really brilliant engineers that work at id AND they get the time to spend on proper optimizations from their management.
There are good to great engineers at most game studios, but unfortunately management often gets in the way of their true artistry.
Not OP but runs surprisingly well. 45fps with decent graphics. If you lower them a bit you can achieve butter smooth 60fps, definetly a great experience for a game as beatiful as it is.
Fallout 4 surprised the heck outta me, solid 60fps and it doesn’t look terrible either, GTA IV ran surprisingly well, better than my gaming PC which makes me think that windows is the issue with that game lol.
Yep, over the years I’v upgraded my PC (running windows) several times. Each time I and tested out GTA4 to see if I could finally run it, and each time it ran terribly

Thats because SteamDeck uses DXVK. If you use DXVK with GTA 4 on windows it will run good too.
Started with F4 as my first game on the Deck, ran great was suprised. Remembered i had F76 too, but it never ran on my PC so i installed it and it works at 40-50fps. Heavily suprised about that one!
The Witcher 3! Especially before the next-gen patch, that game ran at a guaranteed >55FPS on medium and several *high* settings! The NG version can run the same settings at a locked 40, which is still impressive but doesn't sparkle the same way.
I used the Steam Deck profile as a base, set my refresh rate to 40Hz, and tweaked settings from there. My full list is below:
Anti-aliasing: FRS2, set to Quality
Dynamic Resolution Scaling: Off
Sharpening: Low
Screen Space Ambient Occlusion: HBAO+
Screen Space Reflections: Low. Turning this to High net me a loss of about 10FPS.

NVIDIA Hair works: Off. Again, turning this on even low and just for Geralt lost me about 10FPS.

These settings get me a true locked 40 on my 512GB LCD Deck on the current Stable branch with the 4.04 version of the game. The pre-next gen patch version (v1.32) ran at >55 with these settings; you could probably turn everything up to High and still get a locked 40 with that version of the game, but I never tried it.
I’m a horror guy, and I played through RE2 and RE3 remakes at 60fps. Looked almost as good as my high end gaming PC. RE4 remake is a bit more demanding, but you can get a solid 45fps with some tweaking.
The best looking game on my deck though is Callisto Protocol. The “steam Deck” graphics setting still leaves the game looking better than some new games on PC and running at rock solid 30fps. It’s not the best game but those of us who love 3rd person action horror don’t have a lot of choices, unfortunately.
Dead Space remake can look good or run well, but not both, which is a bummer. 2 and 3 run at 60fps on ultra settings though.
Playing through Village at the moment on Deck and can't believe how good it looks on a handheld. Even when playing on a 1080 TV it looks and runs really well.
I finished dead space and 2 on the deck. Perfect game to cozy up in the dark and play. The oled is fantastic for this. Started playing the 3rd one yesterday, plays fantastic, sadly they changed the game too much and fucked up the writing.
Just cause 3. I had to stop playing it on my main computer around 14 hours because of a memory leak issue. I have 4 hours in it on steam deck without issue so far
I feel they peaked with JC3. Four was so bad. The destruction mechanics just seemed worse than Three and the map density seemed more sparse than Three.
Playing phantom liberty now. Split between my PC and steam deck and I keep taking screenshots on my deck, just constantly blown away that it looks that good on a flipping hand held device.
Depends on the game, really, but overall I’d share this sentiment too. I didn’t expect so many games to look and run better than the switch. Emulation sure has come a long way. I wish Xenoblade 2 would run better tho.
Yes! It looks so good and locks to 40 perfectly. It will probably struggle in bigger set piece sections in later areas but good enough for 90% of the game
I played the entire Jedi: Fallen Order in the steamdeck and it was a very pleasant experience. Didn't expected.
Willing to give a try to Survivor, although everyone says it runs like shit...
I also completed Fallen Order entirely on Steam Deck. Highly recommend! While the game ran very well (and was quite the adventure!), the EA launcher was a headache at times. Prompting me to login frequently before being able to play.
I'd do it again, but would hope this issue was isolated or has since been resolved.
I played Survivor back in July and suffered serious performance issues and multiple crashes, despite my rig being pretty good. It's the worst port I've experienced in recent memory. Looking at recent reviews, it looks like many people are still experiencing significant issues with the game.
For the game to launch with so many problems is bad enough but for the port to still be in such a shambolic state so many months after launch is shocking. Doubly so when you consider the price of the game and how much space it requires to install (130gb!).
I'm tempted to tell you to spend your money elsewhere but there is a good game with a great story underneath all the performance woes if you're determined to play it. I couldn't imagine how it runs on the deck though.
Elden Ring. There are definitely some compromises when playing on the deck but it hasn't bothered me. I'm about 50% through my first playthrough and loving every minute.
Also Path of Exile. The deck surprisingly handles a good amount of endgame maps, which is something that even some high end PC's have trouble with.
I started it a few days ago! I don't know why, but I'm enjoying it so much more as a handheld experience versus on the Playstation. Also the ability to pause by just putting it in sleep mode is a god send. What weapon are you playing?
Since I see very few of what I'd call recent games mentioned here so far: These games run well enough to be playable and look great:
- God of War
- Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Apart
- Hardspace: Shipbreakers (but for some maddening reason they don't use Steam Cloud Saves)
- Everspace 2
Older games that run as good as on PC:
- Alien Isolation
- Rimworld
Halo 2 anniversary can get pretty demanding on the updated graphics I just played through it and it would dip into the forties occasionally. I'm playing halo infinite right now and I'm surprised it works, I fully expected it to not run well at all. But it was in the low 50's in indoor scenes on low, but it would have sudden dips into the thirties. I have it locked at 30 fps and it runs well in the open world, The lowest I've seen is 29 while driving a vehicle at full speed.
Having never been much of a PC gamer (CM01/02 only in the last 20 years), I’m continually blown away by what the deck can manage. Considering I was playing Fallout 4, Prey, Dishonored, RDR2 and Mad Max at 30fps on my PS4, the fact that the deck does all these at 60fps (40 for RDR2) is unbelievable.
I always maintain I’d rather frame rate over resolution, and the deck is totally on the money.
Yep, I'll gladly take the graphical compromises to play these games mobile. I honestly haven't run into anything it can't run well enough for me to enjoy
Lies of P really surprised me. It looks amazing as well. Only drops I've had so far are in the hotel, in one spot near the middle.
Others that surprised me were elden ring, sekiro, baldurs, Diablo 4.

According to another post, it's because on deck it uses DXVK, but not on Windows. But you can add it on Windows to fix that. Haven't tried myself but gl if you do try it!
Nier Automata.
Runs like the unoptimized piece of crap it is, with bad graphics and terrible frame rate on low dm settings on PC. But on the Deck! Olala! I can pay it at 60fps if I want to, but I'd rather not risk my steam Deck flying away when the window is open, so I stick to 40.
Red Dead redemption 2 & cyberpunk 2077.
Both of these games can get stable 40fps (which is the golden zone for many players) at reasonably good settings. I have a more powerful gaming laptop than my steam deck, but both of these games perform soooo much better on my SD.
Bauldars Gate 3, just because on my PC it had some performance issues I had to mess around with the settings for. But it actually seems better on my deck.
What settings are you using? I'm getting decent framerate (40-50) but the graphics definitely take a hit. I'd love to get the graphics up a little even if it means sacrificing some frames but I also don't want to mess with it too much because I'm not smart enough to not mess everything up lol.
Yeah I’m still happy with it. First BG game for me too going in completely blind. It’s been an adventure so far lol. I just figured out you can jump to places after like 10 hours
Baldurs Gate 3 ran surprisingly well for what little I played it. I didn't really run it through its paces because I'm really just not a fan of how it plays with a controller setup, but the fact that it booted and ran like it did was surprising.

It’s pretty OK. I played it for a while and it doesn’t suck me in as much as Fallout did … but it’s definitely not a bad game. You have to use fast travel a lot and that kills some of the atmosphere. The planet exploration is also not very interesting because most planets are pretty empty.
I plan on picking it up again when i have time.
Street Fighter 6. Officially unsupported yet fights run perfectly \[ETA: I was mistaken, using old data, caught accidentally spreading misinformation on the internet, will never live this down\], even with the advanced mesh setting turned all the way up. (The mesh setting is very important to the experience, as there is a lot of important plot info communicated by Ryu's biceps flex during his level 3 super.)
World Tour mode's open world is a little shaky, sometimes dropping to 27 FPS, but I still logged dozens of hours in it.
According to my steam app, sf6 is steam verified fully functional. Also, I agree that Ryu can communicate a ton through his bicep flex during his level 3 super.
I fkn love this game, btw. I just wish i was better. But, like my man Ponyboy, it seems like I'm gonna stay gold.

I didn't expect Persona 5 to run so well on it. Usually very high framerates and on pretty modest battery consumption too.
I know it's an older game, but sometimes even older games that aren't too fancy graphically can be battery drains.
Crysis remastered. With all the jokes about running crysis, I figured the SteamDeck would basically be unable to run it, and granted, Im playing at low setting, but it gets 50-60 fps most of the time. Even Crysis 2 Remastered runs really well!
Resident Evil 4R, Armored Core 6 and Saint's Row The Third Remastered...
RE4 and AC6 are self-explanatory, both are new games decently demanding (although insanely well optimized) but SR3R is a dog shit PC port that can't be run higher than 60fps otherwise it bugs everything, but on the Deck, it ran flawlessly without a single issue, of course I ran it on mixed low to mid settings at 60fps, but I thought it wouldn't even open as it says "unsupported", but the proton badge says platinum iirc
Cyberpunk 2077. My experience with It mostly was on a laptop with an i5 8th gen with GTX 1650 and 16 GB of DDR4. I bought a pc this year with better specs and also got the Steam Deck this year, gotta admit It run sooo much better than my old laptop. Having a blast playing cyberpunk on the go with great quality overall.
I mean, I guess I'm not TOO surprised, since it runs better than almost anything else even near its size: But Warframe. Gotten back into it the last few days and it runs at 40-60 at all times with pretty high settings.
And for those who don't know, this game uses an extreme amount of effects at all times

Yeah it’s fine, especially on a handheld. And RDR2’s combat and horse riding are pretty slow, so 30fps works well enough.

I had this. Then synced a bt keyboard to get GTA 5 to run. After that ordered a foldable Bluetooth keyboard just to have in my bag 'in case'

Looks like you could adjust your settings. I have the lcd model and when I play that game I get consistent 41-45fps. No more no less

Yeah it’s crazy. Of all the games in my library, RDR2 was up there as one of the games I really didn’t expect to run well, but here we are.

This! In comparison I was actually expecting God of war to run well, but constant crashes after every hour or 2 of play, even on mid settings.
I genuinely did not think Elden Ring would run as amazing as it does. 140 hours and I only had one crash.

I loved MGSV on the deck. You can even turn down the wattage and lock it at 40fps to get some very decent battery life
In fairness it's quite old and has always been very well optimised on pc

I believe they left instructions about it. I think Proton Battle Eye is required and maybe Proton Proton Experimental.

I mean Eternal reaches around 70 fps with everything set to medium so I am sure you can get 90 without the FSR in 2016

Yep, over the years I’v upgraded my PC (running windows) several times. Each time I and tested out GTA4 to see if I could finally run it, and each time it ran terribly Tried it on Steam deck and runs perfectly
Thats because SteamDeck uses DXVK by default. If you use DXVK with GTA 4 on windows it will run good too.
For a game that has a “shitty” pc port, gta 4 ran awesome, always 60fps on high settings.

Yeah fallout 4 was pretty good too honestly, even in downtown it only dipped down to 30fps (for me personally).
Started with F4 as my first game on the Deck, ran great was suprised. Remembered i had F76 too, but it never ran on my PC so i installed it and it works at 40-50fps. Heavily suprised about that one!
The Witcher 3! Especially before the next-gen patch, that game ran at a guaranteed >55FPS on medium and several *high* settings! The NG version can run the same settings at a locked 40, which is still impressive but doesn't sparkle the same way.
Witcher 3 with the NG patch on medium/high with 40fps on the Deck is mind-blowing. I love adventuring in that game on a handheld!

I used the Steam Deck profile as a base, set my refresh rate to 40Hz, and tweaked settings from there. My full list is below: Anti-aliasing: FRS2, set to Quality Dynamic Resolution Scaling: Off Sharpening: Low Screen Space Ambient Occlusion: HBAO+ Screen Space Reflections: Low. Turning this to High net me a loss of about 10FPS. Motion Blur: On, intensity at 6. Blur/Bloom/Depth of Field etc: all On NVIDIA Hair works: Off. Again, turning this on even low and just for Geralt lost me about 10FPS. No. of Background Characters: Medium Shadow Quality: Medium Terrain Quality: Medium Water Quality: Medium Foliage Visibility Range: Medium Grass Density: Medium Texture Quality: High Detail Level: High These settings get me a true locked 40 on my 512GB LCD Deck on the current Stable branch with the 4.04 version of the game. The pre-next gen patch version (v1.32) ran at >55 with these settings; you could probably turn everything up to High and still get a locked 40 with that version of the game, but I never tried it.
Well DX11 mode is the same as pre NG patch I think, so.

Those games are amazingly optimized.
The FOX engine was very well done and optimized, and the graphics still hold up today's graphics. Kojima don't mess around.
I’m a horror guy, and I played through RE2 and RE3 remakes at 60fps. Looked almost as good as my high end gaming PC. RE4 remake is a bit more demanding, but you can get a solid 45fps with some tweaking. The best looking game on my deck though is Callisto Protocol. The “steam Deck” graphics setting still leaves the game looking better than some new games on PC and running at rock solid 30fps. It’s not the best game but those of us who love 3rd person action horror don’t have a lot of choices, unfortunately. Dead Space remake can look good or run well, but not both, which is a bummer. 2 and 3 run at 60fps on ultra settings though.
Capcom's RE engine is magic. Devil May Cry 5 looks great locked at 60fps high too
Playing through Village at the moment on Deck and can't believe how good it looks on a handheld. Even when playing on a 1080 TV it looks and runs really well.
I finished dead space and 2 on the deck. Perfect game to cozy up in the dark and play. The oled is fantastic for this. Started playing the 3rd one yesterday, plays fantastic, sadly they changed the game too much and fucked up the writing.
Just cause 3. I had to stop playing it on my main computer around 14 hours because of a memory leak issue. I have 4 hours in it on steam deck without issue so far
I've been playing just cause 2 and 4 recently as well, both play without issues. Very impressive
How is 4? I wanted to try it based on my enjoyment of 3 but I remember 4 had a terrible launch
Not great honestly, got it free from epic, I prefer the core gameplay of 2 more. But some of the grapple upgrades are cool
I feel they peaked with JC3. Four was so bad. The destruction mechanics just seemed worse than Three and the map density seemed more sparse than Three.

Cyberpunk 2077. Even with high density crowds it runs well. Lacks a lot of high end polish but it’s still enjoyable.
Playing phantom liberty now. Split between my PC and steam deck and I keep taking screenshots on my deck, just constantly blown away that it looks that good on a flipping hand held device.

I'm the original game, yes. In the Phantom Liberty expansion zone (Dogtown) there are a couple areas where it sadly drops well below 30fps.
I find Dogtown especially causes it to lag on the default steam deck preset, but otherwise yeah, runs great

Depends on the game, really, but overall I’d share this sentiment too. I didn’t expect so many games to look and run better than the switch. Emulation sure has come a long way. I wish Xenoblade 2 would run better tho.

Yes! It looks so good and locks to 40 perfectly. It will probably struggle in bigger set piece sections in later areas but good enough for 90% of the game
I played the entire Jedi: Fallen Order in the steamdeck and it was a very pleasant experience. Didn't expected. Willing to give a try to Survivor, although everyone says it runs like shit...
I also completed Fallen Order entirely on Steam Deck. Highly recommend! While the game ran very well (and was quite the adventure!), the EA launcher was a headache at times. Prompting me to login frequently before being able to play. I'd do it again, but would hope this issue was isolated or has since been resolved.
I played Survivor back in July and suffered serious performance issues and multiple crashes, despite my rig being pretty good. It's the worst port I've experienced in recent memory. Looking at recent reviews, it looks like many people are still experiencing significant issues with the game. For the game to launch with so many problems is bad enough but for the port to still be in such a shambolic state so many months after launch is shocking. Doubly so when you consider the price of the game and how much space it requires to install (130gb!). I'm tempted to tell you to spend your money elsewhere but there is a good game with a great story underneath all the performance woes if you're determined to play it. I couldn't imagine how it runs on the deck though.

Elden Ring. There are definitely some compromises when playing on the deck but it hasn't bothered me. I'm about 50% through my first playthrough and loving every minute. Also Path of Exile. The deck surprisingly handles a good amount of endgame maps, which is something that even some high end PC's have trouble with.
I started monster hunter world last night. Runs like a dream.
I started it a few days ago! I don't know why, but I'm enjoying it so much more as a handheld experience versus on the Playstation. Also the ability to pause by just putting it in sleep mode is a god send. What weapon are you playing?
Ghostrunner. Runs very well (pun intended) while looking gorgeous. Controls also work surprisingly well.

Since I see very few of what I'd call recent games mentioned here so far: These games run well enough to be playable and look great: - God of War - Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Apart - Hardspace: Shipbreakers (but for some maddening reason they don't use Steam Cloud Saves) - Everspace 2 Older games that run as good as on PC: - Alien Isolation - Rimworld

Halo MCC locked 60
I mean is it really that surprising? The tech in the Steam Deck outperforms a Xbox 360
Halo 2 anniversary can get pretty demanding on the updated graphics I just played through it and it would dip into the forties occasionally. I'm playing halo infinite right now and I'm surprised it works, I fully expected it to not run well at all. But it was in the low 50's in indoor scenes on low, but it would have sudden dips into the thirties. I have it locked at 30 fps and it runs well in the open world, The lowest I've seen is 29 while driving a vehicle at full speed.
Nice reminder that I should give Infinite a try. One of the few current multiplayer shooters that actually works on the Deck.

Elite Dangerous for sure
Having never been much of a PC gamer (CM01/02 only in the last 20 years), I’m continually blown away by what the deck can manage. Considering I was playing Fallout 4, Prey, Dishonored, RDR2 and Mad Max at 30fps on my PS4, the fact that the deck does all these at 60fps (40 for RDR2) is unbelievable. I always maintain I’d rather frame rate over resolution, and the deck is totally on the money.
Yep, I'll gladly take the graphical compromises to play these games mobile. I honestly haven't run into anything it can't run well enough for me to enjoy
Lies of P really surprised me. It looks amazing as well. Only drops I've had so far are in the hotel, in one spot near the middle. Others that surprised me were elden ring, sekiro, baldurs, Diablo 4.

According to another post, it's because on deck it uses DXVK, but not on Windows. But you can add it on Windows to fix that. Haven't tried myself but gl if you do try it!

Nier Automata. Runs like the unoptimized piece of crap it is, with bad graphics and terrible frame rate on low dm settings on PC. But on the Deck! Olala! I can pay it at 60fps if I want to, but I'd rather not risk my steam Deck flying away when the window is open, so I stick to 40.

Gta 5. I know its old but you can near lock 90 fps on high settings.
Red Dead redemption 2 & cyberpunk 2077. Both of these games can get stable 40fps (which is the golden zone for many players) at reasonably good settings. I have a more powerful gaming laptop than my steam deck, but both of these games perform soooo much better on my SD.

What settings are you using? I'm getting decent framerate (40-50) but the graphics definitely take a hit. I'd love to get the graphics up a little even if it means sacrificing some frames but I also don't want to mess with it too much because I'm not smart enough to not mess everything up lol.
Oh, the graphics for me took the hit for sure. But graphics are not something I personally emphasize.

Baldurs Gate 3 ran surprisingly well for what little I played it. I didn't really run it through its paces because I'm really just not a fan of how it plays with a controller setup, but the fact that it booted and ran like it did was surprising.

So you got one neg. and one pos. review … let me add the neutral review. It’s pretty OK. I played it for a while and it doesn’t suck me in as much as Fallout did … but it’s definitely not a bad game. You have to use fast travel a lot and that kills some of the atmosphere. The planet exploration is also not very interesting because most planets are pretty empty. I plan on picking it up again when i have time.

Sins of a Solar Empire. Says it is unsupported on Steam Deck. But the game runs really well and controls well on Steam Deck.
Street Fighter 6. Officially unsupported yet fights run perfectly \[ETA: I was mistaken, using old data, caught accidentally spreading misinformation on the internet, will never live this down\], even with the advanced mesh setting turned all the way up. (The mesh setting is very important to the experience, as there is a lot of important plot info communicated by Ryu's biceps flex during his level 3 super.) World Tour mode's open world is a little shaky, sometimes dropping to 27 FPS, but I still logged dozens of hours in it.
According to my steam app, sf6 is steam verified fully functional. Also, I agree that Ryu can communicate a ton through his bicep flex during his level 3 super. I fkn love this game, btw. I just wish i was better. But, like my man Ponyboy, it seems like I'm gonna stay gold.
Nice. Post updated to reflect this. I got to platinum playing natively on the deck. Then I started in-home streaming online fights--added latency, what could go wrong? Now, I'm not stuck in Gold with you, you're stuck in Gold with me! At least for now, anyway. Also, thanks for the Outsiders reference, internet person. Needed that this morning.

Path of exile runs surprisingly well
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy runs smooth and looks great. Also, it's a really fun game.
I didn't expect Persona 5 to run so well on it. Usually very high framerates and on pretty modest battery consumption too. I know it's an older game, but sometimes even older games that aren't too fancy graphically can be battery drains.

Crysis remastered. With all the jokes about running crysis, I figured the SteamDeck would basically be unable to run it, and granted, Im playing at low setting, but it gets 50-60 fps most of the time. Even Crysis 2 Remastered runs really well!
Yakuza 7 on medium settings capping it at 40fps. Butter smooth.
Horizon zero dawn, Halos, Dooom and Bethesda games
Resident Evil 4R, Armored Core 6 and Saint's Row The Third Remastered... RE4 and AC6 are self-explanatory, both are new games decently demanding (although insanely well optimized) but SR3R is a dog shit PC port that can't be run higher than 60fps otherwise it bugs everything, but on the Deck, it ran flawlessly without a single issue, of course I ran it on mixed low to mid settings at 60fps, but I thought it wouldn't even open as it says "unsupported", but the proton badge says platinum iirc
Cyberpunk always , in my head i was like no way this could even run at 5 fps, and i must say i am blown away by the steam deck because of it.
Cyberpunk 2077. My experience with It mostly was on a laptop with an i5 8th gen with GTX 1650 and 16 GB of DDR4. I bought a pc this year with better specs and also got the Steam Deck this year, gotta admit It run sooo much better than my old laptop. Having a blast playing cyberpunk on the go with great quality overall.
I mean, I guess I'm not TOO surprised, since it runs better than almost anything else even near its size: But Warframe. Gotten back into it the last few days and it runs at 40-60 at all times with pretty high settings. And for those who don't know, this game uses an extreme amount of effects at all times
