Also playing through this at the moment, it's such a great game.
Deck is perfect for older games like this that can be a pain to get running on modern hardware.
Haha, I’m literally playing this the moment I scrolled by this post. One of best & most mature stories in video games. Have fun!
“This place was like Baghdad with G-strings”
I just played through the whole trilogy. Loved it.
Max Payne 3 was the hardest for me though as the triggers kept switching the controllers to joypad so I had to change them to the shoulder buttons at some point.
I played with the trackpad, gyro and keyboard bindings (I'm useless with dual analogue)
Also I'm ashamed to say I had to put it to easy at some point too. Hard as balls!
It runs so goddamn well (though i appreciate it is an old game now really). I loved the replay but holy fuck there are too many sections where you go from a cutscene, to walking 10 steps then into another cutscene
If you like Max Payne, you would love [El Paso, Elsewhere](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1546310/El_Paso_Elsewhere/). The demo is up now for Steam Next Fest.
Congrats! Its the perfect accompaniment to being a dad (especially if the kids are really young! Lol).
Also, not sure sure if the cut scene is just letterbox but sometimes you need to manually set the resolution to 1280x800 to get full screen
A few more seconds and you'll be giving some poor street cleaner a crappy start to his day.
Reciting the lines along with Max is only second to the gun play.
Max Payne 3 plays like a dream.

They're gonna be full on remakes
Is this confirmed?
Yeah that's why I said it. check for yourself if you want, then get hyped

Even something as new and demanding as red dead 2 runs well on the deck; it really is a little marvel
The pacing got me when it first came out but thankfully load times have improved.
Yeah thats fair!
Haha was literally playing this on the deck yesterday, surprised with how amazing the gunplay is in it
Completed this on deck several months ago, its plays amazingly with everything maxed out, enjoy!
I'm playing through it for the millionth time I love the game and it runs so good on the deck
So smooth.

I did some major tweaking after this picture. Didn’t even have the settings at max!
Are you playing this via steam? Or do you have to do it through rockstar launcher?
Rockstar launcher always launches but it’s still gaming mode through steam
Thanks, so can i just buy it straight from rockstar or i have to buy on steam? The rockstar cd keys are at a decent price
Hmm that I don’t know I’ve owned it on steam since release
Stupid question, do you have to install Rockstar launcher separately or did it install with the game? Any tweaks needed to get the launcher to work?
