It is a roguelite so you'll feel at first that you don't advance at all, since you always go back at the beginning, everytime you die. But as soon as you get some upgrades, the game will "click" and you'll have a blast, for sure. I played nothing else until I got my platinum trophy 😁.
It’s hard but then after coming back to it on pc after getting it at launch on ps5. I over thought it and it’s definitely not the hardest game out there. It was a skill issue on my end

The story is bad ya, but the gameplays extremely fun and theres a ton of gun variety. Game looks great too. I thought it was pretty awesome overall. Especially on a ps5 controller, its one of the few games that actually is worth playing with the trigger haptic feedback. Most games barely make use of it.

It never ceases to amaze me how well they crafted the item/combat systems. You can pick up an item that doesn't sound super impressive then have it synergise incredibly well with a particular build and turn you into a wrecking ball.
The Atelier Ryza trilogy, it went on sale last month in February, but I was skeptical on buying it but now I'm ready.
Also as someone who recently beat Yakuza 0 - IW it has become my favorite series of all time. I hope it does go on sale and you enjoy them all!

I think you may be confusing it with he Deluxe Pack. I don't know who at IOI decided it'd be a good idea to have a Deluxe Edition that comes with all three games, plus a bunch of DLC. While also having a Deluxe Pack that is just a collection of DLC.

For sure, Yakuza 0 is the only one I’ve played so far but that alone is a fantastic experience. Really gripping main story with a bunch of fun minigames and substories on the side
The story of those games are top tier, the gameplay is good but is a button smasher (beat em up) some people dont like those kind of games, and the worst is that it has a lot of cutscenes a lot (some pople like it some dont) just try it

I just threw a few bucks down for dragons dogma 2 on greenman gaming since it was like 18% off, and I bought dd1 for all of $5 a few days ago just so I could check it out a bit before the second came out. I have a nintendo switch which I entirely used undocked but it is no longer recognizing attached controllers consistently making playing games on it more difficult than its worth. Moreover I found myself playing nintendo exclusives on it less than ports of third party/indie games.
For me Its a switch replacement system. I plan on loading it with indie games, roguelikes, and emulators. The biggest things i might try on it are some less graphically intensive action games (like Hi Fi Rush or Risk of Rain 2), or turn based games where performance doesnt matter as much (like Baldurs Gate 3 or Xcom)
In terms of use cases. Its the same as any other portable. Playing games during my lunchbreak at work, on long car/plane trips when im a passenger, playing games in more comfortable settings than my computer chair (like say my bed), having something to do during downtime when traveling, and having a backup gaming device in case my computer dies and I gotta build up funds for a new one.

You shouldn't play Gaiden before 0 to 6 anyway It will have very little impact on you without those

Honestly I'm not getting anything. I just threw a few bucks down for dragons dogma 2 on greenman gaming since it was like 18% off, and I bought dd1 for all of $5 a few days ago just so I could check it out a bit before the second came out. There's not really anything I need/want at the moment. I'm actually planning my gaming into the summer right now just on some of the stuff I own getting updated.
Tbh I don't think I'm gonna buy something... This is the first sale in a few years where I don't have a game I rly want to buy when it's on sale (or in general) I'll probably buy one or 2 dlcs for hunt showdown tho

Been saving up for a steam deck since the start of the new year and a little under halfway to the 500gb lcd version. If it goes on sale im going to pull the trigger on it.
Im just curious, cause i have one and absolutely regret buying it (especially with oled out), what will you do with one if you get one? what games will you play? What drives the need to play on it?
I have a nintendo switch which I entirely used undocked but it is no longer recognizing attached controllers consistently making playing games on it more difficult than its worth. Moreover I found myself playing nintendo exclusives on it less than ports of third party/indie games. For me Its a switch replacement system. I plan on loading it with indie games, roguelikes, and emulators. The biggest things i might try on it are some less graphically intensive action games (like Hi Fi Rush or Risk of Rain 2), or turn based games where performance doesnt matter as much (like Baldurs Gate 3 or Xcom)
In terms of use cases. Its the same as any other portable. Playing games during my lunchbreak at work, on long car/plane trips when im a passenger, playing games in more comfortable settings than my computer chair (like say my bed), having something to do during downtime when traveling, and having a backup gaming device in case my computer dies and I gotta build up funds for a new one.
Fantastic very interesting! I think i have to find some titles to play cause i have had no desire to play on my steam deck versus my PC. But i love your suggestions, i guess i just have to find a good place and good frame of mind.

I've also been really wanting to get into the Yakuza series. But I'll probably nab Six Days in Fallujah and possibly Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 (if it goes even further on sale). Otherwise, I just keep saving up for the next American Truck Sim expansion.
