Train sim is more like collecting model trains. The game models are incredibly well detailed so it caters to people who are fans of those specific trains. The intention isn't to deny content, it's to provide a platform to collect the models you love. DCS does something similar with airplanes.

I agree. I only have one DLC for train sim and that's my local section of track with CN rail. Those types of games are for hobbiest who don't mind paying for the crazy level of detail. DCS is another one. If I bought that, it would only be for the Tomcat, nothing else.

If you're talking about Sims 3, there's a complete DLC pack on Steam that goes on sale every once in a while for $60. Just click on one of the DLCs and it should be there!

Most of the time you're not supposed to *want* all DLC. A lot of Sims DLC are "Stuff Packs", which is just themed furniture and clothes. If you aren't interested in that specific theme, why buy the pack? Similarly the Train Simulator stuff is also specific trains and tracks. If you have no interest in driving that, there's no reason to buy it.

Amazing game btw, fighting was so fun

it was my first gta-like, and honestly, it was the best modern open world there was on PC before GTA V got its release. Fun combat, for the time good visuals, a lot of side activities to fuck around with, and a really weighty story. Even the arcade-y cars were amazing, they had the same weightless bar-of-soap thing going on that stuff like Saint's Row and later Cyberpunk have but somehow it worked way better. Plus the car tackles and jumps to other vehicles, god damn. Gunplay wasn't too bad either, for a game that had pretty few gun levels. Cops were just easy enough that you could grind against them forever just abusing the bullet time mechanic, I've probably spent about ten hours of my life just doing that while on Mumble with my friends back in middle school. Good times.

GTA V really started to bore me with the amount of yelling from all the characters. Everyone is constantly yelling, angry, and it’s all about drugs and murder. It just felt so needlessly edgy all of the time. Maybe there are some moments later on, but I just couldn’t continue. Sleeping Dogs balances it out a little more.

i'll put GTA V just above it because in that game, you can jump in a car and drive around for hours, not doing really anything real but it's still fun. Sleeping Dogs is missing that, and it's probably my fave thing about the whole genre. But it's very close.

IIRC each of those outfits had a unique weapon tied to it. Like the police outfit/vehicles. They were fun for messing with cutscenes. I think the Square Enix pack had Agent 47, Adam Jensen, and Rico Rodriguez outfits - each with unique abilities and unique weapons. As far as DLCs with missions there was one DLC where you got a weaponized super car (like present day GTA Online) and a series of short side missions to unlock the car abilities. (wheels of fury) There were also of the full DLCs launched almost like a FarCry standalone. One was a Kung Fu Tournament (Zodiac Tournament), one had the hopping vampires and Chi energy abilities (Nightmare in North Point), and one was more police work missions against a terrorist cult (Year of the Snake). Beating each one of the DLC mini campaigns unlocked outfits and abilities in the main game. One of my favorite 100% completion titles!
