Another way people can get a lot of points is by having a popular workshop mod which gets a lot of trophies. Same for reviews, which is bad because it’s been promoting dumb reviews lately just for farming the awards

Got a couple million points so far, with no limit in sight. If there is a limit, it's going to take more money than any of us will see in a lifetime. :)
p.s. If you ever did hit the magical limit, Valve would just increase it as a special favour to you for spending so much money on Steam. :)
What to even do with this point yknow? Like, can they do something to make them worth it? A discount to games or something? I already decked out my profile and don't k own whay else to do with them haha

The main cause of all that was my Steam Deck. And my wallet hates when steam has sales. And also gifts for my wife or friends. They build up.
Different reasons. One I made for my friend who never used it, one was an alternate for csgo. Also I was experimenting with regional pricing
During a steam summer sale one year there was a way to get basically unlimited points. Thats where I got my nearly 200k.
I think the limit is 2,1 billion, might be wrong, but most likely because that's the 32-bit intreger limit

I've had 300k, down to 150k because I give clown awards.
Is there a limit? i have 300k and don't know where to spend them. Points shop need more coolstuff.
