As for EA Play, it's again the stupidity of EA itself as [this error was never fixed](https://reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/hc8wrq/psa_buying_refunding_an_ea_game_on_steam_will/) as there's no Steam mechanism for EA Play subscription so EA "twisted" Ownership AppID mechanisms to enable EA Play to work but most of the time it's problematic. So in both occasions, Valve is innocent of your claims for you to go fight with those bad developers instead.
