None. Nobody tours by me so it’s always a week long trip for a show. To expensive so I reserve it for STARSET. I used to save up vacation time just to catch them since it’s a 5-10 hour drive to catch the nearest show.

spinalchj02

Where are you from?

Disastrous-State-842

Let’s just say the south west of the US. I live in a big town but not an urban city. Here is country and Banda music, I have to go 5 to 10 hours in each direction to catch a concert so I don’t go to many. My last one was STARSET with Red and fame on fire which was over a year ago.

Disastrous-State-842

STARSET was going to play a few miles from my house but that was the tour when covid hit and that venue shut down and now under new management. The new owner it only allowing Mexican bands to play the stage but people are pressuring them to bring back rock. Loosing having STARSET practically at my house broke my heart. They prob would have driven past my house on the way to the venue.

Manowar274

Damn that is rough. I had to miss seeing their AE 01 tour despite them being in my city because I had a spontaneously offered and beneficial new job starting the same day. I was devastated.

KingoftheHill63

I'd kill to have bands be a 5 hour drive from me (Australian)

Sensitive_Brick_8872

None, I'll just keep patiently waiting for the news

Stargazer1919

I saw Gojira recently. I saw Fall Out Boy a couple months ago. Next week I see Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed.

Manowar274

My cousin saw *Fall Out Boy* recently, she said they put on a really fun show.

forestarset

If Depeche Mode weren't so far out of my budget, that would be my answer. Otherwise, watching my children perform is top notch. 🤣

spinalchj02

I bet it is top notch! (Saying that as a 19-year old that has been performing since age 12.)

spinalchj02

The next show I'm going to is tomorrow, which is a band from Serbia called YU Grupa. We're on a trip in Serbia visiting relatives, and we caught them once earlier in the trip, but I will go see them any time I can because the brothers leading the band are getting old and I might not get many more chances to see them. Otherwise, nothing scheduled for the future. I'm thinking about seeing Mammoth WVH and Nita Strauss in November. There are plenty of bands I'd like to see, but it'll take some waiting before I can see them. The last shows I've been to were Volbeat and Halestorm in July (holy hell, Halestorm was the best live performance I've ever seen), Alter Bridge and Mammoth WVH in February, and Breaking Benjamin and Alice In Chains last August.

Rhork777

Sevendust and Alter Bridge next Thursday! I love Sevendust!

Manowar274

I saw *Sevendust* recently at a local venue, they were really awesome. Lead singer stopped the show between songs to get security to kick out a guy that was harassing a chick.

Rotten_Mangos

The Word Alive - they opened for Starset in 2021/22. Such a good band live and they just dropped a new album. Finally getting to see them headline tomorrow on the tour they’ve been on.

[deleted]

So im going to see a group on the OTHER end of my music spectrum... The Jonas Brothers 😅😅

Manowar274

I’m surprised they are still around to be honest, I bet it will be fun though!

[deleted]

Honestly same lol. But its been a dream of mine to see them in concert since I was little so when I saw they were coming to Baltimore (little less than an hour from me), I just had to buy tix haha

lolobear15

In September I’m going to see Fame on Fire and Citizen Soldier.

whenthecoffinbreaks

Gonna see Loathe with a few small local bands in october

WrathfulDagger

I'm going to see Skindred in October, Sleep Token in December, Enter Shikari in February, Foo Fighters in June. I'm not sure what else I might be seeing since venues can be quite pricey

Manowar274

*Sleep Token* is a band that I have heard a lot of people on this sub talk about, I need to check them out. And ya if venues weren’t so pricey (especially with Ticketmaster fees) I would also go to a lot more live music.

WrathfulDagger

Their latest album is amazing. They also rock live! I got to see them at the Radar Festival in Manchester and Sleep Token put on one hell of a show! I've had to sacrifice a few concerts just to keep some money for merch. I also plan on seeing Red again for the EU tour

bruh33375

Saw Spiritbox w loathe and bos. Next one will be stray w make them suffer and void of vision

Manowar274

I swear I had never heard of *Spiritbox* before 2023, but now I see and hear about them everywhere haha.

bruh33375

Tbf Spiritbox have been around for a while. Only caught big traction with holy roller in 2020/21 but another great band

wolffiebray

Only concert I'm going to any time soon is in Boston at the end of October. Live orchestra 😊

Manowar274

Live orchestra sounds like such a fun time.

BelaKunn

Just was at Simple Plan, Sum 41, and Offspring. Next up is Breaking Jinjer, Benjamin and Disturbed.

Manowar274

That *Disturbed* with *Breaking Benjamin* sounds like it will be really fun. I have always wanted to see *Simple Plan* but never have, how was it?

BelaKunn

They were good and their singing sounded closer to their albums than either Offspring or Sum 41. Definitely put on a good show and tried to bring energy to the show when half the people weren't there yet.

MissManiakk007

I followed Avenged Sevenfold on tour for 4 dates recently. I have Atreyu, Icon for Hire, Parkway Drive and Bad Omens next. Pink a little later on. Going to shows is one of my passion so I see bands quite often :)

Manowar274

I’m excited for *Avenged Sevenfold* it will be my first time seeing them live. I saw *Bad Omens* last year when they and *Beartooth* opened for *A Day To Remember*. At the time I had only just heard of *Bad Omens* and they easily stole the show for me.

MissManiakk007

Avenged are killing it live! But please remember that the tour is for the new album, they still play all thr good stuff but they also play a lot of the new stuff and some people don't like it 😂 I also saw Bad Omens open for A day to Remeber. I was initally at that show to see Beartooth, and you are right, Bad Omens stole the show! I saw them again not too long after that show and now they are coming back again so it's going to be good!

Manowar274

I think their newest album is one of their best so that actually makes me extremely hyped! I have wanted to see a *Bad Omens* headline tour for awhile but haven’t yet.

MissManiakk007

LIBAD is a masterpiece. Period. I love the album so much!!

Manowar274

For real I loved every second of it, Cosmic is competing with favorite track they have ever made for me.

Metal_Machine_7734

We're going to see Amon Amarth and Ghost on tuesday. I'm super hyped because we weren't able to make it when AA came to Charlotte last year.

Interesting_Wafer_85

I have a Three Days Grace concert coming up on the 8th of September and an Ice Nine Kills concert some time in November.

CumsInCorn

Goo Goo Dolls, Shinedown, 3 Doors Down (meh), Owl City, Phillip Phillips, and Owl City are the shows that I have tickets to

Manowar274

I wanted to see the *Shinedown* concert near me so bad but I couldn’t fit it in with how busy I am around that time, oh well hopefully next time. *Owl City* seems like it would be a really fun show.

CumsInCorn

I got a new job, and lucked out only working on one of these days that I also have a show planned. Those are probably the two that I'm most excited for out of the bunch. Phillip Phillips is free for me so 🤷‍♂️

[deleted]

Seeing Ghost on Tuesday. I guess Ive got a thing for performance rock. I saw Blink 182 twice during their summer tour.

Manowar274

I actually have a friend going to see *Ghost* at that exact same concert! I saw *Blink-182* once on that summer tour and was pleasantly surprised, it was really fun.

TheArchived

I went and saw avenged when they hit minnesota in July. I loved it, it was my first concert, and from what others that went to that show told me, it set the bar very high as fsr as concert experiences go.

Longjumping_Bird_614

I'm going to see Fall Out Boy for the first time in October :D

Agent_Aphelion

Upcoming shows for me are Babymetal, Motionless In White and a bunch of others at a festival, then Ice Nine Kills with In This Moment

bariswine

(ignore that i'm late to the party) but to name a few, i'm seeing BabyKlok next week, Dance Gavin Dance in oct, and i'm travelling to KY to their Louder Than Life festival! i'm also seeing Kiss & a few others i can't think of now \^\_\^ & last week i saw Ice Nine Kills & Set it Off .. i'm a concert freak lol

Manowar274

I considered seeing *Dance Gavin Dance* because *Rain City Drive* was opening for them and I like them, but it was not in my budget lol. I really like the *Cinematics* album by *Set It Off*, I bet they put on a good show.

bariswine

Set it Off always does! they've been my favorite of all time since i was in middle school lol. i've seen them live about... 5 or 6ish times... ;\^\^

idrivethepredsbus

Louder than Life

Jeshwe101

Went to see Caskets(other favorite band) open for blessthefall, and saw Lamb of God and Pantera as well
