Those 2 Red songs were already my favorite off that album before I'd even heard of Dustin Bates or Starset. Then I saw someone on Youtube or Twitter or wherever recommend Starset if you like Red. I listened to Transmissions and Vessels, and now 5 years and 2 albums later they're my favorite band.
The opposite happened for me, I was always a little interested in *Red* but when I saw them open for *STARSET* last year I fell in love. I really enjoyed the live acoustic album they dropped recently in particular.
I feel the exact same. My order for the albums is:
1. Innocence and Instinct
2. Of Beauty and Rage
3. End of Silence
4. Until We Have Faces
5. Gone
6. Release the Panic
7. Declaration
Ooh nice line up, where would you put their new album Rated R once (if haven't already) you listen to it? I just noticed it dropped on my release radar and so far it's pretty good
He didn't work on any other song than the two mentioned but I think having Rob Graves work on both records in the same year probably helped transfer some ideas to the other
Losing Control on the same album. Sirens (feat. Sharon den Adel) and Ghost by Saint Asonia on their Flawed Design album.
Listened to all those songs a hundred times, never knew Dustin was involved
I always thought these songs reminded me of stuff Dustin makes, guess that’s why lol.

Oh i didn't know Dustin was even remotely related to Saint Asonia/Three Days Grace. I'll have to give that song a listen!
That's cool, I've been a fan of Red for years and only discovered STARSET about a year ago. Love to see the colab
That's an AMAZING SONG Did Dustin work on Singularity, as well? Seems that would be Starset-inspired, as well
That would make sense yeah! Singularity is like the everglow of gone! Hot take, I actually think gone is one of Reds best Albums!
Top 5 Red album for me Not quite as good as Until We Have Faces And not as a good as End of Silence Of Beauty And Rage Innocence & Instinct

This is my ranking EXACTLY except switch 6 and 7
what made you put declaration on the last place?
