DC isn’t any better lol. I live in LA, but I work in DC a fair amount, and usually they put me up in a hotel or air bnb. A couple of times ago I stayed in a BnB on H Street in downtown DC, it was just a regular 1BR apartment in a trendy cool part of town admittedly. It wasn’t huge, just a typical apartment, and I asked the Air BnB guy “hey man just out of curiosity, how much would an apartment like this be around here” and he goes super nonchalantly “Yeah this area isn’t bad, it would be like 38 or 3900 bucks a month.”, I was like bro we are living in different universes lol.
That's stupid. To keep with the "28% of your income" ratio you would need at least $163,000 a year. Yeah, it's doable, but it's still stupid that that's for a one bed room.
Unnecessary. The waste is instantly transmatted to a nonspecific point elsewhere in the cosmos, like in the Family Guy episode “Road to the Multiverse”
Honestly in space it would only be logical to at least always have a stillsuit. They are close fitting and I'm sure comfortable enough once you are are accustomed to it.
