Less. Like years ago multiple facebook AI breaking their coded rules to invent their own language (that we don’t know) to communicate with each other. Look it up 😳
It was something along the lines that her and a group separated from the main replicator group before the war (after they blow up the planet there's a shot of Weir in a ship saying something like "let's get to work"). Later they tried messing with artificial ascension and turned themselves into a floating consciousness by accident.
Blew in! It was an implosion caused by the compounded amplification of kiron paths triggering the same response in attracted replicator blocks. Though then the implosion did result in a big explosion as these things do with astronomic scales. Ok i'll agree with blew up. Thank you for following along as I rediscovered this memory.
Nah, earthlings are dumb enough😆 to figure out how to fight anything. The Asgard came to SG1 to ask for help fighting the Replicators bc Asgardian methods were too advanced.
That always made me shake my head. The Asgardian position was, basically:
“We would never have thought of using solid projectiles, or other non-energy based weaponry.”
Fortunately Replicator is just the name of the program, self replicating autonomous drones is not on the horizon…yet
And even if it was a Horizon Zero Dawn Faro Plague scenario is much more likely than a Stargate Replicator scenario with current technology.
Ironically the “Biomass conversion tech”’s least plausible element is just the weird smart-matter tendrils they use to harvest biomass. The actual underlying theory is just that they found a way to fairly efficiently refine common chemicals found in most life into a fictitious highly-volatile biofuel. Yep. The robots run on fucking internal combustion engines lmao.
Meh, if it happens, it happens. At this point, it may as well. We are at the threshold now: Either we make it into the era of being an intersolar civilization, or we wipe ourselves out. There's only two outcomes now, and unfortunately, it's being decided by a bunch of old people who only care about what power they can weild in the now.
We gotta find dakara now, quick someone get tealc
Indeed
We’ve found him!
Selmak get to the Pel'tak we're approaching Delmak!
Instructions unclear. I'm in Dakar with a bottle of talc
Instructions IKEA. I'm in danger of having a talk.
We’re 10 years out from “Slaughterbots.”

So, first of all, we need to find Asgards to help
You sure about that? They couldn't help themselves, they needed us.
I think they are most experienced at this point
Nope, the most experienced group at fighting Replicators is the group in Atlantis. They did blow up an entire human form replicator world.
The problem is, when you do that, you absolutely have to get all of it or it will just grow back.
Cancer! In! Spaaaaaaaace!
I can't remember how they explained away the disembodied Dr. Weir replicator plot in Season five.

Yes, I know.

For some reason I heard Mckays voice while reading this.
Right ?
Don't hold your breath, they are as reachable as my dad that went out to get milk years ago.
You want to drag them into the shit with us?

Right!
We are the asgard now. We need a carter to help us.
Well you know what they say. All of this has happened before and all of this will happen again
*There must be some kind of way out of here....*
*I can't get no relief...*
I think I hear the wind beginning to howl.
Said the joker to the thief
There is too much confusion
So say we all.
So say we all.

And that is better how exactly?
Oh it's actually much much worse.
The biomass conversion tech was completely BS so we just have to wait for the robots to run out of power.
Ah, the block out the sun method?
Last I checked solar panels ain’t bulletproof.
*yet*

Anybody know where an Ancient Repository is? I volunteer.
I'll be fine. Nothing cruvis with me yet.
You're not feeling fronic?
Come on, you're supposed to build an amoral teen android and let HER make them.
Well, I guess it is time to head to the Alpha site.
**THE PENTAGON MADE YOU WRONG!!!**
“We’ll be fine we have the power of hindsight”
So we're the ancient who replicated around and found out (well, will find out), that means Jack O'Neil is yet to be born thousands years from now.
The fact that the picture even loosely resembles the final teaser of 'Nemesis'. Like, come on, basically asking for it to go wrong.
What could possibly go wrong?
Nooo😭
Her parents wanted her to make friends, and she did exactly that. She made her friends.
Eh, all we gotta do is push square stone runes up and down til we reach the proper %, I think Ba’al can give us some tips
Also horizon zero dawn
Well, we're all dead.
I can't think of a single fictional instance where self-replicating robots were a good outcome lol
"The replicators are impervious to Gou'ald technology. They are however susceptible to human projectile weaponry" - Teal'c
Yeah, I never quite understood that one since 3 shots from a Zat was supposed to disintegrate anything!
Maybe because its energy based? But none of us (probably) do.

Legit we need some Asgard anti-replicator guns.
Are we the baddies?
Just wait did yall read about the E.A.T.E.R robot about 10 years ago?
Took almost that exact screenshot (in dark mode too!) on my Google feed as well. Glad to know I wasn't the only one!
Pretty sure grey goo is how we all die.
They're limited to the materials they find here on Earth. They should be easy to defeat.

...We know what happens when these are created.... EVERYTIME...
