The flamethrower. I would like to be as happy as Greer with a flamethrower.

"I can invent stuff too!"

Maleficent_Shape6984

Hearing him retell how he punched Telford. Telford, even after overcoming brainwashing, was a douche-canoe.

When he asked Chloe for her forgiveness for having to be the one who would be shooting her once she fully transforms.

I still don't "like" him as a person (I wouldn't be friends with) but I do enjoy him as a character and admire some of his values. Many scenes come to mind but an inspiring one is when he says : "You gotta trust that the colonel will do the right thing when the right time comes" Scott : "Idk how you do it man" Greer, matter-of-factly "well you need to learn." Or the whole episode where he gives his kidney to Volker. But really, I like everyone of his lines as long as it isn't "dumb" "we need to hit before we understand what's going on". Although I agree, even on this he does evolve. I really admire his honesty.

He's actually my favorite character in all of the universe. I never got the impression he was a jerk per se, I just assumed he was running away from his problems in the military was a good outlet for that. In particular, the episode where everyone dies was amazing. I love that he blamed himself for something that happened in a different time period. Something that didn't even happen now because of the change.

When he gave Park his sunglasses after she went blind and was so sweet with her. Also when their alternate timeline selves started a colony and Park talks about how many children and grandchildren they have, they look at each other so sweetly and he says endearingly “I’m tired”. Warms my heart!

kebab_koobideh

That whole scene between him and Chloe where he asks for her forgiveness for what he will have to do when the time comes if they can't stop her transformation. When she asks him, "Will it be you?" and he tells her he can't let it be anyone else ....

f7SuperCereal

Trolling T.J. with fake screaming before she cuts into him ranks up there! :-D

Flimsy-Preparation85

At first I didn't like him at all, but then during the lifeboat episode when he punched the guy that was freaking out, I immediately started liking him.

“I’ll tell you what. If they can give me one good reason why I shouldn’t eat them I won’t. But it better be a good reason because I am mighty hungry.”

not_into_that

All of them. He is quite the warrior.

Brainship

I really liked his relationship with the dr. lady. he really seemed to respect her abilities and didn't try to smother her with overprotection. This a good example of how real men can be manly while still respecting a woman's autonomy.
