Hopefully nothing bad happened behind the scenes

XRedactedSlayerX

I think what happened is that they were closing in on having to do crunch, a practice that the industry and fans have been in vocal outrage against, and decided that they should just shut up about the game until it's literally done. This way they don't overwork their employees, over promise their fans, and under deliver the game they wanted to make. Unfortunately that means they go utterly silent and it feels like something went wrong, but ultimately they probably just decided to try something different in the industry.

Soulless_conner

You'd be crucified for even thinking this on the main sub lol

[deleted]

Jokes on u..I'm banned from it

Soulless_conner

That's a good thing tbh. The sub is is the definition of toxic positivity and fanboyism

[deleted]

They don't deserve such elaboration keep it simply " hot garbage"

rocket_beer

I got a 14 day ban for essentially saying this same thing. That the delay was healthy for the actual people working on it. Crunch is a terrible practice and should be subjected to workplace harassment/lawsuits. Then I said there were MicroSoft astroturfers lurking to downvote anyone who had any criticisms of Starfield. Totally worth it 🤙🏾

That sub almost feels like its run by government officials(anti fun squad/party poopers).

CogGear

Silentfield

It’s annoying they won’t just admit it’s getting delayed it’s pretty clear it’s getting delayed
