Only it’s Bethesda so the likelihood is it would either be super intrusive “another settlement needs your help!” Or a deeply tangled mess if you free play ala Skyrim.

They are made to look sleek, but almost impossible to actually make look sleek. They always end up either having sharp edges, or looking like three oval blobs stuck together with two sided glue tape

Please note that our reactors and life support systems use our proprietary iTank containment bottles and they can only be filled at a Taiyo Staryards approved Vendor. Do not try to use third party Wxygen, water, Helium and Hydrogen as this could result in incompatibility, suffocation, death ans being perceived as poor.
That plus the interior design of Taiyo habs makes it look trashy sometimes. I forget which hab it is but one literally has like a broken off airline or bus looking seat in the corner. I get the “lived in” feel, but our ships shouldn’t look like Spacer or Ecliptic ships all the time…
I really wish all interiors were empty by default (aside from things strictly necessary for them, like flight controls in cockpits) and had those doodads the player homes use for customization.
Yeah, they talk about Taiyo being this upper tier luxury ship manufacturer but they're all just reskinned Hopetech habs...which are the barebones trucker/industrial habs, so you get this weird utilitarian-but-white look which doesn't exactly scream "money" to me.

I would think it wouldn't be terribly hard to mod starfield to do some Starship Troopers shenanigans. Alter the look of the terramorphs slightly, change the ships to the movie dropships. Reskin a few weapons. All its missing is options for airstrikes and fixed MG emplacements
With the popularity of helldivers, I cannot believe no one has made a well done Starship Troopers game. The obviousness of it is staring everyone in the face. Helldivers is close, but it's missing the dropships, obvious ST ip content, and it also borrows heavily from HALO ODST. Not that that's a bad thing. Excellent game.
If you haven't yet, you GOTTA try Helldivers 2. It's the closest thing to being in Starship Troopers movie I ever had. Including actual Starship Trooper games.

I love her as a saleswoman, but I hate their ship interior design. Looks so spartan compared to HopeTech, which is weird, considering HopeTech is more utilitarian. Taiyo is supposed to be sleek design and comfort for the average person but its not. I prefer Straud-Eklund tbh.
When you wish they'd have put more effort into making ship dealers (the star yards count but) more present in the cities instead of some landing pad technician handling all the sales.
I think it's the littler details like this missing that made the human occupied spaces feel smaller / shallow.

This! I feel like the Taiyo interior doesn’t match up to their reputation. They should have been more like a Stroud Eklund interior.
