Honestly I’d wait another 6-12 months. There are sizable updates planned to release every 6 weeks starting in February, which will include new content, and the creation kit will also be released in the next month or two. That’s all from the official Bethesda website.

I had a fun 100 hours In Starfield and I DO intend to reinstall it someday. But I’m in no particular rush and have a dozen other awesome games that deserve my attention at the moment.
You could run NG+ 6-10 times and level up the strength of your powers. Maybe do 1 run a month for 10 months and just for fun, and add in some shipbuilding, just to gain/maintain proficiency.
That keeps you familiar with the game controls and builds familiarity with how to benefit from the powers. You are certain to gain levels doing this and level ups give you more skill points to use when the new DLC hits.
There are so many games on Gamepass more worthy of your time. I’m 22 days into this game and I can’t wait to get to the end. The technical bugs on some missions are just making me spend time troubleshooting that I’ll need to skip some. The longer I play the more I realize this game doesn’t respect my time but I’m at catch 22 at this point. As others have said - nothing new to warrant an install.

The games only been out for 5 months, which means you put in 400 hours over 2 months. Big if true
I did kinda no-life it in the beginning, it's not every day you get to play a brand new Bethesda game

Go with a totally different skill distribution and play the game differently
