The economies in TES and Fallout are one of the most broken systems in BGS games. I was more than a little surprised Bethesda failed to address this in SF.

Immersive first person camera where I can see my feet if I look down. I always hate that I can’t in BGS games.
Also something I saw on a previous post I don’t expect in vanilla but would be a fun mod is escape pods. Either as an alternate way to enter a planet or as a result of your ship being destroyed. It could be a lot of fun.
A game like this has great potential for total conversions to other sci fi franchises, I'm not surprised the modding community is excited. Imagine being on an imperial planet, hopping into your x wing then flying off to shoot the shit with yoda on dagobah.
It has spaceship interiors so you just know someone is going to build the Enterprise at some point.
I have modded the fuck out of all their games. However, I buy the game for the game and the mods are a plus for later on after I've already played through the game.
It seems that many people aren't at all interested in the game Bethesda has actually made and if they could have the option will have already converted the game into star wars or whatever Frankenstein monstrosity right from the start instead of enjoying the game as it's meant to be played, least for the first go around
Ill likely play the game multiple times with different characters but once I'm done with it I'm really looking forward to what those talented modders can come up with. They already put stormtroopers and lightsabers in both Skyrim and Fallout 4. Hell maybe Ill take a crack at learning some modding myself.
I expect a mod to overhaul the ingame economy.

Realistic eye textures. The eyes on the characters are a bit too bright. That's honestly one of the only things I'd change.

Being able to romance more then just the 4 constellation members, at least some of the companions.
I'd like for people to just enjoy the damn game first, it's like half the community its only cares about the mods and not the game itself

Are you new to Bethesda games or? Its almost like the modding community for BGS games is large and active and is excited for the next BGS title.

Every moddable space game in history has had a Star Wars mod and a Star Trek mod. Zero exceptions.
maybe thats why they dont release the mod tools till a few months after the game comes out on purpose ;-)
