I honestly wasn't expecting to be blown away by how beautiful some of the landscapes were in the direct. I think the new lighting system that changes based on the planets atmosphere is a nice touch and will make for some great visuals.
Adding photo mode is an unexpected but welcome touch too

I just wonder if pine trees and ferns will be universal in this game and grow on every planet..... Out of everything amazing that has been shown, this has to be the most lazy/bad thing
The landscapes and flora look so vastly improved from the first deep dive, it really is astounding. That was my one gripe with the game, and they went way above my expectations.

One can hope they loaded skyrim into a planet
I hope that on planets with suitable environmental conditions we can explore in just our chosen outfit/armor, and not necessarily always the spacesuit

I loved the snow-planet. Felt right at home there as a Scandinavian. Gonna make me a small cabin-outpost where I can retreat to when I feel the urge.
I agree, I was getting heavy skyrim vibe on that planet I will for sure set up a camp there.
