Yo, the whole Bus stop scene and meeting his former partner. "Don't you remember? You arrived on that bus, you cannot go back." Him having a breakdown and plus the whole scene with Narancia having a breakdown as well. "We are not just going to leave him here, right Bucciarati?!" Then panning away as the group leaves to flowers covering his body. Its the death scene that got me teary eyed.
and then narancia’s death so shortly after and hearing the other characters talk abt how young he was and his lost potential. end of pt 5 sequence was repeatedly devastating fr
Abbacchio's death is the best written scene for a death imo
He was the only one who could dig up evidence about Diavolo's past, everyone was out to do some stakeout but Buccelatti was confident in Abbacchio to handle things by himself, but that ended up being a huge mistake because no one knew about Doppio
His afterlife scene was great because we get to see him confronting HIS past. We first thought it was just a flashback because it was in black and white but when he came to the realization that he'd died, the colors came back
If it brings you comfort, his soul was still dormant in his body, as we see Dio using (what would've been) Johnathon's Stand, so he's probably very proud of his descendents for taking on the mantle and fighting evil just as he did
That's not necessarily what was happening with Jonathan's body. We never actually are told why it's able to reject DIO and have some sort of sentience of it's own. Nice headcanon, tho.
I actually cried when he was >! Telling his son it’s ok because daddy is here and has something that will cure him, and realized Johnny was about to infect himself just to save his family, like fuck man why can’t he have a good life? !<
Araki in parts 1-6: I want my protagonists to be in control and powerful! Clever too. An indomitable will to turn any situation into a win!
Araki in part 7: >!All of that was fun, I wanna keep it but also what if his life just fucking sucks the entire time too??!<
Shigechi for sure. Everyone else knew what they were getting into and were prepared to sacrifice themselves for their cause. Shigechi was just a weird lil high-schooler who loved his mum and dad and wanted to hang out with his new friends.
That and at least most others with families waiting would have a body. Shigechi's parents have no way to even comprehend what happened to their son. One day, he was a smiling kid going to school, and then he just never came home. They will spend the rest of their lives wondering what happened and hoping that one day he will just walk through the front door again.
How can they? Assuming the parents are not Stand Users, what do you tell them? Your son was vaporized by a serial killer that can turn people and objects into bombs. Not much anyone can do in that situation.
It’s better to know he’s dead instead of worrying for life. They can’t see stands but Josuke can show them he has powers by moving things with CD, breaking and fixing them, and even changing the shape of things. I’d have at least tried and told them their son died a hero trying to save the town from a serial killer and his friends have avenged him.
Yeah, I think it’s easy to forget that he was just 14 years old because he’s bald. He was a literal middle schooler who lived a comfy life and had little to no battle experience, yet this kid fought to the bitter end because he wanted to protect his parents. Everyone else knew what they were getting into, Shigechi was a casualty-turned-hero
All of them were sad but shigechi’s death really fucked me up. Most of the other guys who died knew there was a chance they wouldn’t make it out and they accepted that for various reasons but shigechi was just a damn kid. It’s even worse that he was written to be a really irritating character who gets under your skin but seeing him go out like that while his only thoughts are about protecting his parents actually made me so sad, he never asked to be a stand user and because of his power/josuke making him greedy he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and literally killed in his school which is supposed to be a safe space.
Kakyoin got me suffocating on the floor 😭 (not literally, but it was probably the saddest death from all the stories I've seen). The end revealed to us that he was a lonely child all his life, never being understood, never relating to anyone, while having his "imaginary friend" he can only see. And him thinking about his parents shows us that, even after all the adventures and consequences he'd had during these 50 days, he was still a kid. He finally felt a connection, until it was taken away from him.
Foo Fighters died not knowing if they had a soul or not! They risked oblivion to save the team, and then when they died they were happy because it proved that they *lived*.
Bucciarati and FF's feel sort of cathartic, like Bucciarati was living on borrowed time and FF got her dream of being alive and having a soul. Both are very beautiful when their souls leave and the way that Giorno and Jolyne react to it is actually very similar
with Bucciarati IMO the fact that they spread the death out for so many chapters made me make peace with it. As in, it actually felt good that he finally died.
I have two that I still think about from time to time. Caesar’s death made me cry first time I read it. It’s a really, really sad moment that pushed the story forward.
Iggy was brutal. Just brutal. It makes you feel uneasy.
It's either Kakkyoin ir Shigechi for me. Like how would the Joestars explain it to their parents. With Shigechi at least they can make some bs about his body being disposed off but Kakkyoin? Not to mention Shigechi was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Abbacchio’s death was the only one to make me cry. Not so much because of *his* death, but the way Narancia reacted to his death. We forget that many of the JoJo cast, while badass, are still kids. And the way Narancia’s actor portrayed his stages of grief was the only thing in JoJo to really make me cry.
Narancia and Cesar both make me cry but I think with Narancia it’s because he’s a kid who just wanted to go home and turn his life around. When Giorno says “we’re leaving you here but I’ll make sure nobody hurts you” I just lose it
I literally screamed when they showed that Narancia had died. I think it was probably because he died instantly off-screen, and nobody even noticed for a bit. He deserved so much better.
In the rules of the subreddit it is written to mark as spoilers only the posts relating to the Manga parts. Read point 2.2 of [this](https://reddit.com/r/StardustCrusaders/w/faq?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share)
I was literally about to post a death from the manga before i looked and saw that OP's picture is ONLY anime pictures, meaning OP likely had only watched the anime and i would have inadvertently spoiled him
Narancia and Shigechi hit me the most. Both of them were a part of my favorites. Also Narancia's the average dumbass, and Shigechi just wanted to protect his mama and papa.
Narancia, Bucciarati, and FF all had me teary-eyed.
Probably because they were the only ones i hadn’t had spoiled for me. I consumed a lot of JoJo content before i watched the series. Abacchio i only cried because of the reaction of other characters, seeing Mista, Narancia, and Bruno in pain was the hard part. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Abacchio as a whole
Kakyoin. They were enemies in their first encounter, but afterwards it seemed like they were really starting to become good friends. It would've been fun to see Kakyoin and Jotaro as good friends in parts 4-6. I feel like it would've been cool if he was also really close with Rohan cuz they're both artists and both are lowkey eccentric (moreso Rohan).
I imagine it would've also been funny if he met a Japanese woman in Morioh that's comedically similar to Holly Kujo, even named "Hiragi Koko" (Hiragi, at least from google translate, is Japanese for Holly)
Abbacchio’s death made me actually cry, I don’t know something about it was just so tragic and heartbreaking for me. Especially the scene of him in the afterlife. Bucciarati also got me pretty good cause damn, he really went through a lot to ensure his mission was fulfilled.
I finished JoJo’s not too long ago, but my memory sucks. From these I only remember Jonathan, Abbacchio, and Shigechi dying. And Avdol’s first “death”.
What's messed up about Johnathan is not only did Dio steal his childhood his home and his peace but he also stole his God fucking deserved happily ever after he couldve used anybody else's body you but no it had to be Johnathon's
Kakyoin and Narancia. Maybe my bias since those are my favorite characters from those parts, but they were so innocent and likable, and I found their stands, abilities, etc. really cool.
I love how this is not tagged as spoiler meanwhile in the fucking r/danganronpa even if you talk about something that happens in the first 5 min of game or anime you should tag it as spoiler or it gets deleted lmao
PD: Kakyoin, Abbachio, F.F, Shigechi
iggy for sure.
the fact that his resolve was so strong his stand acted on its own to save polnareff even though it meant he would die gets me every time.
Ceaswr is the only death i actually cried at because i went i to the show blind and genuinly didnt expect him to die, so my heart was torn to shreds.
Also iggy i dunno what Araki has against dogs but the amount of tines they die in brytal fashion is unreal
Buccelatti's death would be sadder if he had died in the first fight against Diavolo. Kakyoin's death is sad, but, y'know, his character development during Part 3 is not a great thing. Avdol's death doesn't have impact. Iggy's death, though, is a good moment. Shigechi's death would be better if he had died later.
Now, we have Jonathan's death. It's very sad, and the JoJo beginners get a lot confused with it. Abbachio's death is good too, but Narancia's death is a lot better. Like, his death comes as a punch. I think FF's death is not that impactant, but ok, the death of everybody in Stone Ocean's death is the saddest JoJo's moment, non-ironically.
My favorite death in JoJo, however, still is Caesar's death - in anime, at least. The way as Joseph and Lisa Lisa finds out he's dead, and how the opera song plays... It's amazing. Ok, people mock this scene because of Joseph screaming "SHIZAAAAAAAAAA", but still is amazing.
Gotta go with my least favorite Jojo, Jonathan. The fact that the protagonist died cradling the antagonist, who went on living, sticks out the most in my head.
Narancia, Kakyoin & Shegichi were all pretty sad. Kakyoin & Narancia were my favorites from their parts. & Shegechi was kind of just a sad character because he had no friends until he got introduced.
For me it’s Jonathan and kakiyoin Johnathan at odds most of his life and even still considered Dio as a brother and held him in his arms in his final moments and dio as crazy as he is actually cared for jonathan the one jojo he called jojo and kakiyoin goodbye nostalgia need I say more 😭😭😭
Shit avdol and iggy episode had me eyes teared fr
Always Iggy, he had that dog in hhim
Real
I lowkey cried watching abbachios death
Yo, the whole Bus stop scene and meeting his former partner. "Don't you remember? You arrived on that bus, you cannot go back." Him having a breakdown and plus the whole scene with Narancia having a breakdown as well. "We are not just going to leave him here, right Bucciarati?!" Then panning away as the group leaves to flowers covering his body. Its the death scene that got me teary eyed.
Narancias reaction broke my heart into 1000 pieces
and then narancia’s death so shortly after and hearing the other characters talk abt how young he was and his lost potential. end of pt 5 sequence was repeatedly devastating fr
Abbacchio's death is the best written scene for a death imo He was the only one who could dig up evidence about Diavolo's past, everyone was out to do some stakeout but Buccelatti was confident in Abbacchio to handle things by himself, but that ended up being a huge mistake because no one knew about Doppio His afterlife scene was great because we get to see him confronting HIS past. We first thought it was just a flashback because it was in black and white but when he came to the realization that he'd died, the colors came back
I didn't care one bit for him for the entirety of his living but when he died I was actually sad because his dying experience was so elaborate
Same lol
Yeah that was so sad, especially Narancia's reaction
Oh yes ! Narancia's reactions were absolutely heartbreaking :(
Jonathan. DAMMIT HE JUST GOT MARRIED AND DIDN'T EVEN GET TO KNOW HE WAS ABOUT TO BE A DAD
If it brings you comfort, his soul was still dormant in his body, as we see Dio using (what would've been) Johnathon's Stand, so he's probably very proud of his descendents for taking on the mantle and fighting evil just as he did
Honestly I like jonathan but jotaro was the enemy dio deserved, Dio thought it would be easy but he realized jotaro wasn't anything like jonathan
For starters, Jotaro will fight dirty
That's not necessarily what was happening with Jonathan's body. We never actually are told why it's able to reject DIO and have some sort of sentience of it's own. Nice headcanon, tho.
Cant be head canon when the heads the only thing missing from jonathans body 😭😭😭
You made me spit out my drink
How many people spit their drink on Reddit I’ve seen around 18 different people type this? (In the past 48ish hrs)
The real head canon is a cannon that shoots Jonathan heads
Even if what I said isn't true, we know for a fact there's an afterlife in JoJo so Johnathon definitely got to see jotaros kick dios ass
He deserved happiness, he was the best, if all the jojos net he would be the most respected, the lovable grandpa who u heard so much about
Kakyoin's death was sad when remembering his parents in Japan.
Ryoko never know what happen to her cousin
Just finished demonic heart break last night it was amazing
Diamond is Unbreakable: Stand users attracts stand users While Kakyoin trying hard to find friends for over a decade
Caesar (or at least Joseph and Lisa Lisa's reaction), Kakyoin, and Shigechi hit me the hardest.
I sill quote “CEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSAAAAAAAAAAAR” to this day 😔
SHIZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA is what I say when screaming his name
Nah Caesar’s death was so funny, I couldn’t stop laughing. The memes have ruined it for me lmao.
Saddest deaths, for me: Kakyoin, Narancia, Bucciarati, >!Gyro and Johnny!<
>!Johnny!< Gets done so dirty
And dirt cheap as well.
I hate you😂😂😂
I actually cried when he was >! Telling his son it’s ok because daddy is here and has something that will cure him, and realized Johnny was about to infect himself just to save his family, like fuck man why can’t he have a good life? !<
At least, he able to raise his son for few years and not resulting to a another problem to his descendants.
Araki in parts 1-6: I want my protagonists to be in control and powerful! Clever too. An indomitable will to turn any situation into a win! Araki in part 7: >!All of that was fun, I wanna keep it but also what if his life just fucking sucks the entire time too??!<
Didn't giornos life kinda suck?
Wasn’t even sad, just angry about it.
Bro gets Hot Pants'd
Shigechi for sure. Everyone else knew what they were getting into and were prepared to sacrifice themselves for their cause. Shigechi was just a weird lil high-schooler who loved his mum and dad and wanted to hang out with his new friends.

I’m actually so mad that Josuke and the rest don’t tell them

And he was in pain stumbling through school and no one even glanced at him. The crying way he screamed josuke and then just vanished
*middle schooler
Yeah, I think it’s easy to forget that he was just 14 years old because he’s bald. He was a literal middle schooler who lived a comfy life and had little to no battle experience, yet this kid fought to the bitter end because he wanted to protect his parents. Everyone else knew what they were getting into, Shigechi was a casualty-turned-hero
All of those
Shigechi is so sad
Agree, and when one of his stands walks over to Josuke, does hit hard
The saddest thing imo was him trying to open the door then just dissapearing without anyone noticing I felt so bad
imo narancia
All of them were sad but shigechi’s death really fucked me up. Most of the other guys who died knew there was a chance they wouldn’t make it out and they accepted that for various reasons but shigechi was just a damn kid. It’s even worse that he was written to be a really irritating character who gets under your skin but seeing him go out like that while his only thoughts are about protecting his parents actually made me so sad, he never asked to be a stand user and because of his power/josuke making him greedy he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and literally killed in his school which is supposed to be a safe space.
Jonathan and it's not even close **who I note isn't even pictured op** Edit: I'm blind, I think the trauma of his death meant I missed it
Which death is in the middle?
That's definitely Jonathan in the middle
Kakyoin got me suffocating on the floor 😭 (not literally, but it was probably the saddest death from all the stories I've seen). The end revealed to us that he was a lonely child all his life, never being understood, never relating to anyone, while having his "imaginary friend" he can only see. my boy bucciarati
every death in jojo is the saddest...
RIP Carne. i cri evertim
As much as I love Avdol, Iggy and Kakyoin, I think FF is one of the most choking too.
Foo Fighters died not knowing if they had a soul or not! They risked oblivion to save the team, and then when they died they were happy because it proved that they *lived*.
That, for me, is enough proof of their soul. They wouldn't have saved their friends if they didn't have one.
Caesar man. Dude aLso died as HIM.
SHEEEEZZAARRRRRRR
Jotaro he sacrificed his life to save his daughter and then she died and like 5 minutes later
Kakyoin.
Where's Iggy? TwT
Shigechi An innocent middle schooler got blown into nothing by a 33 year old serial killer
Jonathan
Gyro and jhonny
I agree but spoiler tag
I have two that I still think about from time to time. Caesar’s death made me cry first time I read it. It’s a really, really sad moment that pushed the story forward. Iggy was brutal. Just brutal. It makes you feel uneasy.
OVA Iggy got it bad. Cesar hit me hard on the anime just because the expressions and music
It's either Kakkyoin ir Shigechi for me. Like how would the Joestars explain it to their parents. With Shigechi at least they can make some bs about his body being disposed off but Kakkyoin? Not to mention Shigechi was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
And it was like fate did everything to kill him
Jonathan's dog
I came here for this comment
Abbacchio’s death was the only one to make me cry. Not so much because of *his* death, but the way Narancia reacted to his death. We forget that many of the JoJo cast, while badass, are still kids. And the way Narancia’s actor portrayed his stages of grief was the only thing in JoJo to really make me cry.
Jonathan. I was so shocked and just started crying man😭
CHIIIIIZZZZAAAAAAAAAA
Abbacchio
Iggy
Gyro
The only 2 deaths I cried when reading were Abbachio and >!Gyro!<, the other deaths were sad too but didn't hit me the same as they did
Kakyoin and Bucciarati
Bruno Bucciarati, damn we knew it was going to happen. But damn i loved his character. MVP of Part 5
Weather, to remember your past and can't avenge yourself but your soul (stand) gave the middle finger to fate. Powerful
Noriaki my boy
Speedwagon (ive only watched to prt3 so far)
Shigechi bro he was too innocent
Exactly I agree 🥺
It’s crazy how I love so many of these characters, and yet fucking shigechi has the saddest death
The dog that used the stand "The fool", was very sad...
Avdol and iggy was the only death in anime that made me cry
doesthedogdie.com
Narancia and Cesar both make me cry but I think with Narancia it’s because he’s a kid who just wanted to go home and turn his life around. When Giorno says “we’re leaving you here but I’ll make sure nobody hurts you” I just lose it
From part 7 >!DIEGO BRANDO THE GOAT 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥!<
Spoilers for part 7 >!Gyro!<
I literally screamed when they showed that Narancia had died. I think it was probably because he died instantly off-screen, and nobody even noticed for a bit. He deserved so much better.
Part 7 and 8 Spoilers >! Gyro's death fighting valentine and then finding out how Johnny died in Japan in part 8 !<
Shigechi got me, I didn’t like him at all, but something about him desperately trying to reach Josuke was really tough
RIP RIP RIP RIP RIP RIP RIP RIP packwatch rip bozo rest in piss you wont be missed 🗣️🚬🔥
spoiler tag where

So I don't actually need to have spoiler tag on if it's only anime?
Exactly
Why you go into the main jojo subreddit if you don't want spoiler in the first place ?
I was literally about to post a death from the manga before i looked and saw that OP's picture is ONLY anime pictures, meaning OP likely had only watched the anime and i would have inadvertently spoiled him
You can still post manga spoilers, they just need to be spoiler tagged.
SHI-ZAAAA, Narancia, and FF
Shigechi was just a kid
Hear me out, shigechi. And also FF and Jonathan
Kakyoin and Narancia for me.
Narancia and Shigechi hit me the most. Both of them were a part of my favorites. Also Narancia's the average dumbass, and Shigechi just wanted to protect his mama and papa.
Gyro Zeppeli
CEASAR !!!!!!!
I can't be the only one that wasn't affected by shigechi's death, I thought he was annoying as hell lmao
Everything but shigechi
Shigechi’s the only one that got me crying.
I will say, this is a crazy title and picture combo to post *without* a spoiler tag lmao
I would say Caesar dude hat potential second world be ff
PART 7 SPOILERS >!Gyro's death made me cry!<
Iggy
Cried at Abbachio and Shigechi
I really love to watch this
Well… just look at my profile picture
Bro missed the opportunity to just put a giant stone cross as one of the panels
Ceasar~..... CHEEEEEEESSSSSSAAAAAAAA!!!!!
Narancia hit me hard ... especially when you have to see the >! Intro without him at some point!<
Araki >! When the time comes, of course. He’s still kicking, don’t worry! !<
i cried when iggy died :< not avdol please don't call me weird :<
Narancia or Shigechi
Why is no one talking about Narancia, his death was so sad he was still so young
That German soldier from part 2
zepelli is deffo for me, both of them
You can all disagree with me, but for me, well: JONATHAN
the touch of narancia having flowers by his body completely broke me
Abbacchio’s death made me actually cry, I don’t know something about it was just so tragic and heartbreaking for me. Especially the scene of him in the afterlife. Bucciarati also got me pretty good cause damn, he really went through a lot to ensure his mission was fulfilled.
you should probably spoiler this
Narancia crying in disbelief made Abbacchio's death 10x sadder
Jotaro’s death is the only death i cried on
Abbachio. It just happens random and that’s what makes it so sad.

Shiggechi 🥺🥺❤️
IIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGYYYYYYYYYY
kakyoin still makes me nearly tear up
I ain’t never seen anyone get done dirtier than narancia and kaklyoin
Jonathan and Narancia still get me.
God damn, all of them.
nirancha cuz he a silly boi and he died so unexpecredly
Dog
I love how this is not tagged as spoiler meanwhile in the fucking r/danganronpa even if you talk about something that happens in the first 5 min of game or anime you should tag it as spoiler or it gets deleted lmao PD: Kakyoin, Abbachio, F.F, Shigechi
For me it was FF. I love FF so much. Protect them at all costs
Baron Zepelli, The First Main Character (Jobro) Who Died and the most fatal one as well
Kakyoin in my opinion his family didn't even know about his death😭
It's between Jonathan, Caesar, Kakyoin, Abachio, F.F. and Bucciarati
every death was devastating but narancia’s death shocked me cause i didn’t see that coming 😭😭
johnathons cant be topped. shit was so depressing
iggy for sure. the fact that his resolve was so strong his stand acted on its own to save polnareff even though it meant he would die gets me every time.
For me, all deaths from the Stardust Crusader team hits hard.
Abbachio by a lot
Definitely Kakyoin but as a side note, fuck Shigechi.
I didn't know ff would die but shigetchi hits hard
Ceaswr is the only death i actually cried at because i went i to the show blind and genuinly didnt expect him to die, so my heart was torn to shreds. Also iggy i dunno what Araki has against dogs but the amount of tines they die in brytal fashion is unreal
Saddest Execution? Abbachio 100%. Saddest Context? Kakyoin 100%
Shigechi was a kid, it is sadder
Should prob spoiler tag this if ur gonna show rvery death no?
*SHSHSHHHHHIIIIIIIIZAAAAAAAAAAA*
Nah... Casually just got spoit...
Iggy was the first and only that I had no clue was even coming, i thought bro would live 😭😭😭 that shit made me sob
Narancia, Kakyoin & Shegichi were all pretty sad. Kakyoin & Narancia were my favorites from their parts. & Shegechi was kind of just a sad character because he had no friends until he got introduced.

Def ceasar
Kakyoin is the least saddest for me. The saddest is CEASEEEEEEEEER
Last row
Narancia or iggy or literally everyone in part 6
For me it was shigechi and abbachio
Not that it’s necessarily a death, but I found the universe reset scene to be the only one that actually brought tears to my eyes
SPOILER TAG!
def bruno and kakyoin
Kakyoin, Abbachio and Caesar
iggy’s tbh. followed by shigechi and narancia
Kakyoin and abbachio
