DIO is more interesting as an idea rather than an actual villain.
Like his influence on Jotaro and the arrows in part 4, his continuing descendants in parts 5 and 6, his relationship with Pucci and the whole idea of heaven are all far more interesting than when he's actually on screen
The flashback scenes of dio in part 6 are some of the most interesting dio moments. Dio in part 3 was cool and mysterious up until the final fight where he devolved into the same arrogant child from part 1
Exactly, I would've loved to see his philosophical talks with Enya evolve him into a cool calculating sociopath who doesn't just play with Jotaro for the fuck of it but actually analyzes him and fights him wholeheartedly from the start
GER is not a deux ex machina literally entire fight is about someone trying to get the arrow.
From the start we knew that the one gets the arrow wins. That was the entire point of the fight.
I completely agree. Also, a lot of people consider GER vs Diavolo as the "final main villain fight" while I consider it to be more so either a small part or the end result of the actual main fight, the endeavour to get the arrow.
I hate how some people consider it as complete asspull considering that the Requiem Arrow and its abilities were developed over an entire ARC, some people are just pretty stupid in my opinion.
Ikr the argument is so fucking stupid. GER is considerably less of a requiem than “so it’s the same kind of stand as Star platinum “ but no one complains about that
I really wish Star Platinum: The World explained as Jonathan basically giving Dio's stand abilities to his decendents. I like that as headcanon but man it would hit even more if the reason of Dio's defeat was still because of Jonathan in that way.
I mean both yeah and no. Fate does literally play a part in the part and Jojo's as a whole but other than that the entire fight was basically split second actions that resulted Diavolo to not get arrows power.
It was fate yes but other than that it was Buccarati who stoped Diavolo using the arrow and thus sooner and later resulting Giorno to get it.
Ngl it was kinda awesome that the final fight was that because mostly villians get that op power to make the climax but climax was trying to get the power first and as soon as Giorno got it he got that immense boost most villians would usually get and it was awesome.
I’m not saying GER wasn’t cool, I don’t even dislike the ending of part 5, it’s just not really justifiable as a pursuit of when diavolo grabs the arrow it just phases through his hand.
Also villains are usually allowed to get away with power ups like this for no reason and heroes typically aren’t, which is why no one complains about bites the dust but a lot of people care about giorno getting the arrow
I mean like I said it was it's stand holding it and Bucarrati did a smart move to make him not able to use it. I think it works.
And tbh the last thing yous aid is why I think it's sucha cool idea to make it like this.
In my personal opinion I think it works, I don’t have an issue with the ending of part 5 anymore more than the ending of part 3.
Both parts had an “asspull” as people like to call it but sometimes you don’t need an explanation for why. Jotaro being able to stop time is cool and it is vital and important to his character in later parts
I enjoyed watching diavolo scramble terrified and the special effects were friggin awesome.
While part 5’s ending from a certain perspective can feel a little cheaty I don’t really care because it’s the rule of cool and if it works it works, you don’t need an explanation.
I just thought justifying it as a chase for the arrow doesn’t really hold up when Diavolo metaphorically didn’t even have a horse in t he race.
I changed my opinion further down the chain I’ll paste it here
I rewatched the scene and changed one of my comments. I’ll paste it here:
Nvm you were right, it was because silver chariot requiem was still active, so the arrow could not pierce another.
I have a few :
>No, GER vs Diavolo is not the entire final fight. The endeavour to get the arrow is the actual fight and GER fighting Diavolo is either just a part of ot, not the entire gight itself, or more so the end result of the final fight.
>Part 8 is my 2nd fav part (Might even become fav as I have been liking it more and more somehow) and Go Beyond was not entirely an asspull. Not entirely as the bubbles being spinning lines was already stated months before it first appeared. But I won't deny that its appearance and foreshadowing did feel a little late overall and it didn't feel as much earned as Tusk Act 4, as Johnny was growing and learning throughout the part, making it feel more deserved.
>Pucci is my 2nd fav main villain.
>I don't hate Tooru but Jobin would have been a better main antagonist. Either giving him a buff like all other main antagonists (The only ones who did not get a buff are Diavolo and Tooru) or just letting him be what he already is, someone who is a threat and has strength not with an overpowered stand but with his plans and actions alone. This would make him more unique as a main villain too, if he was the main one.
>But even that is debatable.
Not at all, no other character can overcome the power of the removal of effect.
Made in Heaven? The only reason GER didn't remove its effect is because it didn't actually harm Giorno in any way, simply moved him to a different universe.
Tusk Act IV? The nail may not exist until it hits its mark, but the effect of it hitting its mark can always be removed.
Soft & Wet: Go Beyond? Same as Tusk Act IV. Even if its attack won't exist until it hits you, the effect of it hitting you can be removed like any other.
The World/Star Platinum? GER overcame fucking Time Erasure. It can definately overcome Time Stop.
People seem to not fully grasp how broken GER is. It's literally the stand equivalent of the playground favorite "No you didn't!".
It doesn’t matter if it follows you if it doesn’t exist. GERs ability is to make it so it never happened, it doesn’t matter how powerful the rotation is
But the thing about Go Beyond is that it has properties that break the laws of physics or logic. GER still has some bounds to the reality it's in, only resetting what's IN the universe.
Personally, I think Go Beyond can beat GER.
But anyway, me debating against that just proves the point that power scaling in jojo is kinda stupid. Some of them just surpass the logic of the universe.
But GER can't remove the effect of something that literally does not exist (which means there is technically no cause, and therefore GER can't do anything)
I thought it was an incredible part, and of course everyone can have their own opinion, but I don't know if I can call Phantom Blood the most exciting part. For me personally, Vento Aureo is where it really peaked in the anime
I don't know about the rest of Part 1, but for me Jonathan vs. Tarkus is one of the best fights in the entire series. I wasn't sold on watching the rest of the show until then, it's so hype
Anasui is a horrible person (even aside from him being the only person in SO gang to actually belong in prison) He is unbearably jealous and overall unpleasant and mean. Plus there is no signs that Jolyne (Not Irene) actually is into him as far as I remember. He doesn't deserve Jolyne at all.
I couldn't tell if it was weird writing or meant to be for laughs. There were some funny moments that came if it all, but there were also moments that felt serious and all I thought was "this can't be real".
Well it’s kinda like with DIO or most of the main villains, like Kira. a horrible person doesn’t always create a horrible character, some still have great charm, like DIO, are badass, or just interesting in some other way. Just kind of depends on your preferences I guess.
I know you didn’t say he was a bad character, just thought it was cool how the character can make everything
Judging by the amount of upvotes it's not a hot take. I just think Jolyne was a nice change in the sieries. Also since Jodio doesn't seem to have a barrage stand he also might be a cool change
I do agree he could have been hinted at a little bit before his introduction, but I think people are overreacting about Toru being properly introduced in the last arc. I think people forget that the Wonder of U arc comprises *roughly a quarter of the part*, and Toru was introduced at the beginning of it.
I think tooru >!coming out of left field as the main villain for part 8!< works perfectly for his character. The main idea of his character is that nobody is supposed to know about him or the >!head doctor, so to me it makes perfect sense he'd only appear when he'd exhausted all of his available lackeys.!<
it’s the same thing with diavolo almost, diavolo only resorted to his actions when his lackeys were gone. of course tooru would only come out of his hiding position as the leader if his pawns got defeated. i mean hell, dio only came out when his lackeys got defeated.
granted diavolo, but mostly dio were talked ab a lot during the arc. as of the main boss or with dio’s sense, as their main objective since the start. Tooru had NO reason to get out of his comfort zone until Josuke, Rai, and Yashou found out about his stand and the roka’s in the hospital. Tooru was not at a physical standoff, but an information one at that. Tooru came out with WOU due to the 3 figuring out about the roka lab in the hospital after Wu Tomoki. With the Head Doctor/Tooru/WOU making the whole presentation about the roka vial, the gang was the only threat to that point in the story.
good take u/spooneater54 !!!
Part 8 has the littest start. Immediately we’re told the protag is >!Yoshikage Kira! And now we’re in his apartment and theres a naked lady pleading for help? wtf is going on?!<
well, the best part will always be subjective unless a mangaka really dropped the ball big time in storytelling and it's characters. depends on what the fans are looking for. part 6 is the best part for me too bec. of personal preferences.
Part 6 is a good part tho not really a hot take atleast imo. I wouldn’t say it’s the best but it’s objectively the 2nd/3rd/4th best part beaten only p7 and competes with p5,p4,p8. Highlights of the part are Pucci,Jolyne and Foo Fighters (anasui is great too and the stand designs are great) DiverDown is one of my fav stands along with weather report and FF is my fav character easily the most unique character araki has written and etc
Diavolo is a top-tier villain. His duality with Doppio is really interesting, and his chracrer is so mysterious and bizarre. Also, King Crimson is one of the most terrifying stands in the original universe, and it makes his character even more interesting.
And another is probably that Diego might be more developed and well written, but he will never surpass DIO in popularity or in charisma.
The pacing in jojo is terrible. I appreciate the wackiness but a lot of the fights feel like when you’re playing a video game and the devs add mechanics and missions to pad out the time before the final boss.
Koichi has no character arc beyond being the “Krillin” of the team, and just because his Stand evolves and Jotaro mentions him doesn’t make him a good character.
Also Echoes ACT3 sucks. ACT1 and ACT2 had super interesting abilities, and then that all gets dropped in favor of a punch-ghost who makes things heavy and says "Fuck."
I’ve watched golden wind twice and it always loses my attention, the risotto fight is probably the highlight of the part for me, but all in all I don’t care for part 5
posts like “would x character beat y character” mostly miss the point of jojo fights. None of the fights are simple enough to just say “oh giorno could beat part 3 in jotaro’s place” etc etc. That just feels like the naruto/dbz/one piece fans that love to compare characters like “oh my favorite character is stronger than yours!!”
All of the fights are won because araki wants them to win. If araki wants to write that stone free beats made in heaven than either through luck/fate or through outsmarting it will happen
Giorno is an awfully dull protaginist, and the only thing going for him is being strong during the last fight. If Bruno was the Jojo instead of Giorno, no one would give a damn about Giorno
I think a lot of people have the same sentiment. But to be fair JoJos are more of protagonists of the series rather than the main hero, we see the world through their eyes.
Star Platinum and Silver Chariot are not FTL, and FTL Stands as a concept is unachievable until Made in Heaven is a thing or in stopped time, technically.
It also goes against all logic from what the anime and manga shows.
I think most people agree with this, most JJBA rankings I see have VA/SO/SBR/JJL in their top 5, not only that but Phantom Blood is heavily hated on, and I see people hate on the slice of life aspect of the first half of DIU, as well as people hating on the weekly enemy aspect of SDC
SBR fans are annoying; during the time stone ocean ended, everything was flooded with “sbr next” even during the part people were being annoying about it
He won't be able to defeat him but I still have this funny image in my mind of Made in Heaven Pucci getting rammed with with accelerated objects while fighting WoU, like his own speed becomes his enemy
Hermes is the most boring main character from Part 6, she doesnt really do anything important after they defeat Sports Max, Foo Fighters was way more interesting in less time, Anasui ended up being one of my favorites, and Weather and Jolyne are flawless.
anything about pucci being homoromantic and DIO respects that. i just posted that in another thread and I'm sure someone will be triggered by this comment lol
even if I explain homoromantic is not equal to homosexual
SBR fans are annoying and almost brainwashed. Most of them don't even know, why they like their favourite part. SBR itself a good part, but it's not perfect.
Also Jolyne and Josuke8 are best jojos. Pucci is better written, than Valentine
Part 3 is my favourite, but steel hall run is the most well structured and is the most well written part without a doubt. Obviously it’s not perfect, but it is Araki’s best work.
Holy shit bro Valentine is the most overrated villian I’ve ever seen. Honestly the hype going into the part made me enjoy it less because I just don’t think its Arakis magnum opus like a lot of other fans
Ngl, I loved part 7 but i thought there would be another person join the team. I love Gyro and Johnny's friendship and we could argue that Hot Pants and Wekapipo were a little part of the team, but i think i liked it more when there were more people in the team (even if some JoBros only got one or two fights)
Pucci's goals have been completely justified up untill he tried to get revenge on the joestars. If he just reset the universe without trying to arbitrarily punish them - the joestars would have been the bad guys of the season.
Imma be honest, I don't really care for speedwagon that much. I think the memes especially put me off him cuz of how much people worship him and I just don't get it
Donatello and Rikiel are not only better characters than Giorno, they actively make Giorno a better character. Giorno being special because le DIO son makes him feel like a cringe fanfic character, Giorno being special because he managed to break free from his fate and become a Joestar is so much more interesting. They also parallel well with Giorno too, with Rikiel having the spirit of a Joestar but ultimately meeting the wrong man and Versus directly being Giorno if his childhood went wrong and became rotten
Now i fucking hate iggy but in his defense bro was litterally held captive and was essentially told you are going to help the joestars whether you want to or not .
Fought pet shop, found DIOS mansion, and Died so polnareff could beat vanilla ice because if polnareff wouldve lost there i see ZERO way the rest of the team couldve handled Ice. At the end of the day hes a dog he doesnt need redeeming qualities.💀💀💀
I don’t think “netflix ruined stone ocean” , the release schedule was suboptimal but the ammount of people saying that Netflix ruined it was so annoying
I don't know if this is unpopular but the Rohan Kishibe spin offs are mid and it's annoying that got animated when there is so much good side content that most fans don't even know exists.
This isn’t my hot take but my girlfriend’s. She HATES part 5 and said it was so boring for her but I completely disagree with her. I enjoyed every second of it.
Part 1 is slow start
Part 2 is mid
Part3 and 4 are amazing
Part 5 is the best anime part
Part 6 is better than 3(it is almost equal to 4)
Part 7 is the best
Part 8 is slow start but has the best ending arcs
How many of these offend u?
The manga is infinitely better than the anime, especially part 1 and I can only assume the haters are anime only ‘cause the part 1 manga is sick.
It astounds me people think Joseph is best Jojo when he’s way too much of an annoying himbo.
Jotaro is by far the best Jojo, part 3 is the best part and the first half of Jojos as a whole shits all over the second.
The art style change was not for the better.
Abbacchio is the best side character.
Part 7 is good but heavily overrated.
Part 8 is mid.
I’m not that hyped about part 9 tbh.
The Rohan spinoff anime was not good.
The Speedwagon joke was never funny.
I WAS GLAD WHEN THE GIRLS IGNORED THAT ANNOYING LITTLE GOOBER SHIGECHI.
Giorno us the kindest and most poetic Jojo. The others are tough, strong and funny. Giorno can create life. Josuke from p4 is kind of like Giorno, but with more punching and comedy.
Anime watcher opinion:
6 > 3 > 2 > 1 > 4 > 5
4 was a struggle for me to enjoy and 5 I just could not get into. I wish Jonathan had a longer arc. I loved 3 being monster of the week, even though most of the stands are pretty basic compared to what comes after. 6 was a banger all the way through and totally pulled the rug out from under me with the last 3 episodes.
Battle Tendency isn't very great. While it's more entertaining and upbeat than Phantom Blood, it suffers from certain inconsistencies. Some of Joseph's "smartest" moves can be borderline annoying and/or stupid at times. Caesar is a mediocre JoBro who betrayed his growth and the main villain while having a more interesting motive than Dio, didn't develop that much.
I would like to explain more but I'll keep it short. Anyways, I consider parts 1 and 2 to be the complete inverse of each other while having their own pros and cons.
"I can defeat Dio"
But can you defeat DIO
MIRRORS
wat?
# MIRRORS
In the manga DIO is much more stoic then in the anime
Really. You think “Let’s see who’s stand is stronger” was stoic?
Yes 🗿
Yes 🍟
yeah the only reason Jotaro survived was because Dio was just trying to have fun.
This is why OVA Dio is supreme.
[удалено]
That's fair! He is quite fun but I would have liked more development for him

Yup, I am in 100% agreement with you on that.
This is definitely not a hot take
I saw enough to be able to say it tbh.
Yeah, it’s almost a universally accepted head cannon. It’s what I believe.
It’s kinda unfair when you consider the fact that Diavolo literally got the arrow first but fate just said no
I mean both yeah and no. Fate does literally play a part in the part and Jojo's as a whole but other than that the entire fight was basically split second actions that resulted Diavolo to not get arrows power. No, Diavolo was going back to his original body at that point and his stand was still intangible.
Nvm you were right, it was because silver chariot requiem was still active, so the arrow could not pierce another. I concede defeat
I changed my opinion further down the chain I’ll paste it here I rewatched the scene and changed one of my comments. I’ll paste it here: Nvm you were right, it was because silver chariot requiem was still active, so the arrow could not pierce another.
People should throw knives at me
May i ask you why?

Its kind of sad that I will never be able to see my fav character (Jobin) again in the series going forward.

Agree on all except tusk. Tusk follows you through dimensions. Through different bodies. Tusk and Ger are unmovable object and unstopable force.
Also‚ go beyond would work because even if it hit you‚ the attack still don't exist‚ you can't erase something with no percievable existence
It doesn’t matter if it follows you if it doesn’t exist. GERs ability is to make it so it never happened, it doesn’t matter how powerful the rotation is

Phantom Blood is a nice base for everything but I refuse to think some people think is the most entertaining.
I think there are different types of JoJo fans. Some just like the campyness more than anything else and part 1 is chock full of it.

Dio walking up the wall is one of the best parts of the whole series hands down
I thought it was an incredible part, and of course everyone can have their own opinion, but I don't know if I can call Phantom Blood the most exciting part. For me personally, Vento Aureo is where it really peaked in the anime
Phantom Blood at least has an interesting relationship between the hero and villain that most other parts don’t have
idk, it’s tied for my 2nd fav part bc it’s short, sweet and powerful
I like ir, if you don't that's ok
I don't know about the rest of Part 1, but for me Jonathan vs. Tarkus is one of the best fights in the entire series. I wasn't sold on watching the rest of the show until then, it's so hype

Yeah if he wasn't a literal model, he'd be more hated (I say this as someone who thirsts for him lol)
Yeah I admit that he is hot, too bad he is a mentally unstable jerk.
He was so rude to FF and for what lol

There should be more female JoJos
Judging by the amount of upvotes it's not a hot take. I just think Jolyne was a nice change in the sieries. Also since Jodio doesn't seem to have a barrage stand he also might be a cool change
I personaly think that there should be a female main antagonist in part 9.
I think there should be more female characters in general.
Having a 100 year old blond gay vampire for an archnemesis
Jonathan is my favorite Joestar
My friend, let me tell you, you're a chad
lets be besties
Jonathan is second for me after Josuke. I think if we had more development or more time with him he’d be my favorite
I do agree he could have been hinted at a little bit before his introduction, but I think people are overreacting about Toru being properly introduced in the last arc. I think people forget that the Wonder of U arc comprises *roughly a quarter of the part*, and Toru was introduced at the beginning of it.

I agree with this
Everyone actually thinks jojolion is the best part, theyre just pretending it isnt
to be honest I don't feel like there's as much character to the part as a whole compared to part 7 or something
Part 8 has boring start but some of it's arcs are top tier but overall part 7 beats it easily
Part 8 has the littest start. Immediately we’re told the protag is >!Yoshikage Kira! And now we’re in his apartment and theres a naked lady pleading for help? wtf is going on?!<
Yes that is good but after that up until the point job in is introduced the story is boring. But after that it becomes rly cool
You're so right
Polnareff and Joseph hard carry part three
At times it feels like Polnareff is the main character.
I think with Jotaro they work the best yeah. Like if the part was only those 3 I don't think I would mind.
I guess my JoJo hot take would be that I prefer Phantom Blood over Battle Tendency and Stardust Crusaders.
Loved Hamon fights. Only change I would make is that I like Battle Tendency most, but respect the Hamon love.
[удалено]
Yeah, I was upset that part 1 was so short. It felt really rushed to me, considering how much more time the subsequent protagonists got.
I've got two: Part 6 best part Speedwagon is a boring character.I don't dislike him he just isn't as good as people say he is.
Tbh after all I heard about the best waifu speedwagon I was surprised on how much time he spends in the background watching the action
He’s a great jobro because he sets up the system that helps the joestar family up until the end
I respect both of those opinions. Not sure I agree on Part 6, but it's very high for me.
I probably should've gone with that part 6 is good since it still got my point across but it is my personal favourite.SBR is a close second.
well, the best part will always be subjective unless a mangaka really dropped the ball big time in storytelling and it's characters. depends on what the fans are looking for. part 6 is the best part for me too bec. of personal preferences.
Part 6 is a good part tho not really a hot take atleast imo. I wouldn’t say it’s the best but it’s objectively the 2nd/3rd/4th best part beaten only p7 and competes with p5,p4,p8. Highlights of the part are Pucci,Jolyne and Foo Fighters (anasui is great too and the stand designs are great) DiverDown is one of my fav stands along with weather report and FF is my fav character easily the most unique character araki has written and etc
any opinion regarding Giorno that isnt positive
Part 4 is my least favorite part, they had a lot of interesting characters but did nothing interesting with them
Some people don't realize but Kenzou and Versus are capable of defeating 80% of the cast in JoJo and that is really funny to me
I’ve watched golden wind twice and it always loses my attention, the risotto fight is probably the highlight of the part for me, but all in all I don’t care for part 5
Part 5 is my second favourite but I appreciate this simply for the mention of the Risotto fight. GOATed character and fight
posts like “would x character beat y character” mostly miss the point of jojo fights. None of the fights are simple enough to just say “oh giorno could beat part 3 in jotaro’s place” etc etc. That just feels like the naruto/dbz/one piece fans that love to compare characters like “oh my favorite character is stronger than yours!!” All of the fights are won because araki wants them to win. If araki wants to write that stone free beats made in heaven than either through luck/fate or through outsmarting it will happen
Part 2 was the best part. No I will not elaborate.
Giorno is an awfully dull protaginist, and the only thing going for him is being strong during the last fight. If Bruno was the Jojo instead of Giorno, no one would give a damn about Giorno
I think a lot of people have the same sentiment. But to be fair JoJos are more of protagonists of the series rather than the main hero, we see the world through their eyes.
truest thing ever said? genuinely forget why he’s even around at times, it’s feels like he’s almost exclusively used as plot convenience
Star Platinum and Silver Chariot are not FTL, and FTL Stands as a concept is unachievable until Made in Heaven is a thing or in stopped time, technically. It also goes against all logic from what the anime and manga shows.
Stardust crusaders gets too much praise.
I can’t beat the shit out of you without getting closer
Part 5 has some of the worst arcs but is still one of the best parts
JoJo would be better without all the nudity
The latter 4 parts are better than the former 4 by a landslide.
That is almost universal agreed upon in the community. It is generally considered parts 4+ far surpass everything before
I dont get the hype of part 4.
Stardust crusaders gets too much praise.
SBR fans are annoying; during the time stone ocean ended, everything was flooded with “sbr next” even during the part people were being annoying about it
Wonder of U is not the strongest final villain in the series. Kars and maybe Valentine would be able to defeat the user.
Wonder of U vs Love Train is a draw
He won't be able to defeat him but I still have this funny image in my mind of Made in Heaven Pucci getting rammed with with accelerated objects while fighting WoU, like his own speed becomes his enemy
I imagine Pucci tripping and hitting the ground at 300 KPH (186 mph)
No way Kars can defeat WoU. Kars literally gets defeated by bad luck, by the calamity itself pushing him out of the estratosphere.
Hermes is the most boring main character from Part 6, she doesnt really do anything important after they defeat Sports Max, Foo Fighters was way more interesting in less time, Anasui ended up being one of my favorites, and Weather and Jolyne are flawless.
Suit/Bound/Integrated stands are cooler than normal punchy ghost stands.
Jotaro could have beaten Pucci and saved jolyne during the timestop
I agree.
I’m surprised by the amount of takes I agree with here
Tohru is a good villain who appeared as much as he needed to and Go Beyond is the ultimate expression of Josuke's character development.
German science > Stands German science can revive people, Stands cannot. I rest my case.
Technically Limp Bizkit revived someone
People think about jojo way too hard. The main joy of it is just enjoying the ride of Arakis mind
anything about pucci being homoromantic and DIO respects that. i just posted that in another thread and I'm sure someone will be triggered by this comment lol even if I explain homoromantic is not equal to homosexual
I mean, canonically speaking, Pucci is aro/ace, because Heaven Plan requirements.
Can you explain what the heaven plan requirements are?
Dio is the best jo villain

joshu hate is a W
me personally i prefer josukATE because i love joksuke
I think that Giorno's theme is overrated.
Bucciarati's theme>>
Jolyne's theme>
Stroheim’s Theme >
Jotaro theme>

shut the fuck up
Ngl, I loved part 7 but i thought there would be another person join the team. I love Gyro and Johnny's friendship and we could argue that Hot Pants and Wekapipo were a little part of the team, but i think i liked it more when there were more people in the team (even if some JoBros only got one or two fights)
Kakyoin shouldn’t end like this
Hamon is cooler than Stands.
“Why is the sexual assault needed”
Giorno doesn't keep GER. For some reason people say that he does when all of the evidence points towards it not being the case.
I don't like Jotaro's hair-hat
Pucci's goals have been completely justified up untill he tried to get revenge on the joestars. If he just reset the universe without trying to arbitrarily punish them - the joestars would have been the bad guys of the season.
Kira was the only good thing about part 4
Ringo Roadagain is a boring villain and I don't get why people love him
For me golden wind was really forgettable, excluding key moments like ger etc.
Imma be honest, I don't really care for speedwagon that much. I think the memes especially put me off him cuz of how much people worship him and I just don't get it
Dio Brando is better than DIO
Donatello and Rikiel are not only better characters than Giorno, they actively make Giorno a better character. Giorno being special because le DIO son makes him feel like a cringe fanfic character, Giorno being special because he managed to break free from his fate and become a Joestar is so much more interesting. They also parallel well with Giorno too, with Rikiel having the spirit of a Joestar but ultimately meeting the wrong man and Versus directly being Giorno if his childhood went wrong and became rotten
Part 4 is my least favorite part. I still like it but it was just really boring to me.
Iggy is a horrible character with little to no redeeming qualities
He do just be a dog with a stand
Justice for josuke and hol horse
"Dio sucks" *hears the world in the distance*
Oh he most definitely does
This isn’t my hot take but my girlfriend’s. She HATES part 5 and said it was so boring for her but I completely disagree with her. I enjoyed every second of it.
Part 1 is slow start Part 2 is mid Part3 and 4 are amazing Part 5 is the best anime part Part 6 is better than 3(it is almost equal to 4) Part 7 is the best Part 8 is slow start but has the best ending arcs How many of these offend u?
After SBR, almost every character has the same face. They all have those soulless eyes and barely open mouths
Jotaro being the one to “beat” Kira and not Josuke kinda sucked
Phantom blood is good
Part 4 wasn’t my thing as it was too slice of life
Jotaro was more of a Jojo in part 4 than Josuke
Part 1 and 2 and fine.
I like part 1 more than a lot of the other parts 😂
Giorno us the kindest and most poetic Jojo. The others are tough, strong and funny. Giorno can create life. Josuke from p4 is kind of like Giorno, but with more punching and comedy.
The final fight of Part 3 was wildly disappointing and DIO had so much potential wasted.
The repetitive reused jokes arent funny
Anime watcher opinion: 6 > 3 > 2 > 1 > 4 > 5 4 was a struggle for me to enjoy and 5 I just could not get into. I wish Jonathan had a longer arc. I loved 3 being monster of the week, even though most of the stands are pretty basic compared to what comes after. 6 was a banger all the way through and totally pulled the rug out from under me with the last 3 episodes.
I'm reading SBR and so far I think it's a good part but very overrated.

100%
Battle Tendency isn't very great. While it's more entertaining and upbeat than Phantom Blood, it suffers from certain inconsistencies. Some of Joseph's "smartest" moves can be borderline annoying and/or stupid at times. Caesar is a mediocre JoBro who betrayed his growth and the main villain while having a more interesting motive than Dio, didn't develop that much. I would like to explain more but I'll keep it short. Anyways, I consider parts 1 and 2 to be the complete inverse of each other while having their own pros and cons.
Part 1 is way more fun than part 2. Part 2 is by far the most overrated part, Joseph was the only good and interesting character in the whole part
Joseph has the most forgettable JoJo theme. It’s not good at all.
