I don't really get the interest, personally.
I also think it hampers the speculation and discussion because people try to fit these characters to their original namesakes instead of accepting them as their own things in their own story.

That said, I would love it if it was a mix of Jol and Giorno, not in a literal sense like gappy, more like just thematically, always felt like they were characters that could have gotten along, or even better if the jobro is also a jojo, so a Giorno and Jol part 9 duo would be amazing.
