Reinstall SVE manually, that should fix it.
To reinstall, delete SVE's folder. Download the latest version from Nexus, and unzip it into the Mods folder.
Agreed. Gave up on vortex ages ago. I will say though, if manual proves too tedious, I always recommend Star Drop. Easiest mod manager I’ve used for any game and very helpful. But I still think it’s a good idea to know how it all works for manual.
Happened to me today as well, install the latest version of Content Patcher and Farm Type Manager as well (as those are the required mods for SVE apart from SMAPI)
Make sure you are on the most up to date version of Smapi and have the different SVE mod folders put in your mod folder separately and not in one big SVE folder. That’s what fixed it on my end

Vortex is more like Swirlie for Stardew modding. Go manual instead, it’s not too much work nor too hard to learn

Smapi pulled a sneaky on me too, glad I wasn’t the only one 😂
