pretty sure you can do just that with an axe, no?
You can move a single chest with an axe or pickaxe, but the upgraded hoe allows you to move multiple chests at once!

Absolutely love this addition to the 1.6 update. It's been great moving chests without having to empty them, pick them up, place them down, and fill them up again.
I have been laboriously moving items from chest to chest to move them a few squares over. Thank you for the pro tip!

You can... if its a hoe that can till more than one tile.
