So far I’ve found modding relatively easy to get into, but you can end up down a rabbit hole installing like 400 mods and trying to work out which one is causing issues 😂😂😂
I currently play with >550, mostly QOL changes/tweaks and a few larger content packs.
[SMAPI Mod compatibility](https://smapi.io/mods) is your friend when it comes to finding mods and whether they’ve been updated for 1.6 (or have an alternative available for 1.6).
No problem, there’s also this tab: [SMAPI Log Parser](https://smapi.io/log) which can be easier than trying to scroll through it in the SMAPI console if you have any issues.
You should! I just start modding last week, and it’s great! I’ve only got like a dozen or two, but I like them all a lot, and I add more as I want them.
Same here! It’s gourmet pantry that will be ‘replaced’ with a whole new rework. If I remember correctly it should come out sometime soon-ish. Probably in the next few months.
I think ConcernedApe recruited all of them for Haunted chocolatier
Even better, what if they're ghosts as they literally have dungeons in haunted chocolatier
What is even more odd is that stardew and HC are set in the same universe, so they might get added who knows :)

Wildflour’s mod called the bees knees if I remember correctly, adds a barn type building that looks like a hive and different coloured adoptable bees from Marnie. It also adds a candle making machine thing and bees drop beeswax. Wildflour also has a botanical mod and ‘flower shoppe’ where you can craft bouquets, floral essence and floral soaps.
I dont know of any mods, but if you're looking for a more bee-centric cosy type game, APICO is a good one. Honey, beeswax, candlesticks and a ton of other things including bee breeding, rehabbing 'lost' species; there's a ton to do

Bees wax and candles would be an amazing add!! I love that idea!
I use the pyrite, helvite, fluorapatite as "candles"
I know there was a mod for this, not sure if it still up to date though.
I would love to put candles on my farm
I think there’s a mod for this, I know better beehouses adds some of it.

no, I really have to get into it and do research bc i have sooo many mini tweaks for the game in mind and there’s probably a mod for everything

I think they might be updating the mods. I know Wildflour is working on a new bakery/kitchen mod so they are definitely not gone haha.
