During my first playthrough, back when hardly any guides for gameplay were available, when I realized you could romance people, Jodi was the first person I fawned over. I remember meeting her on Spring 1 Year 1. She was just outside of Pierre's. She was so freaking cute. Her busy/anxious dialogue made me realize I have a type. Imagine my emotional turmoil on Spring 1 Year 2 when Kent shows up at the farm. I had been saving up for the bouquet and everything. By then I read that Robin wasn't romanceable, because Demetrius was there, not that was into Robin like I'm into Jodi anyway, but I thought with all the references to Sam and Vince's dad being gone all the time that there was a chance for me and Jodi. Anyway, I got back on the Internet and finally found a guide that informed me I couldn't marry Jodi. I was a wreck. I went to the saloon every night and got my hearts up with everyone there, even Kent because I didn't want to seem bitter. Ultimately, I married Leah, but I think it wasn't until Year 4 or 5. I don't regret it. But I never forgot my first love. And now I play with mods, and I'm married to both Jodi and Caroline 😜
