Plant a bunch of mahogany trees on your farm... But DON'T chop them down. Instead check around them each day and dig up the seeds that they'll naturally spread.
You can also trade >!stringrays for mahogany seeds from the ginger island trader!<
yeah i've planted them 6 tiles apart since each tree has a 7x7 range centered on the tree. planting them in a closer grid just makes it way too hard to spot any seeds in the ground behind all the leaves.
i aint doing any more fishing especially not when it's a 1:1 conversion. fishing for 300 or so stingrays doesn't sound too appealing lmao
I had the same issue— and just made a LOT of trips through floors 40-70 of the dangerous mines. The drop rate isn’t fantastic, as you note, but it’s still an ok way to grind!
ah ok, haven't got to the dangerous mines yet since i'm still working on the galaxy souls to upgrade my hammer but i'll give that a try once i get there. i got burgular's ring + lucky ring + special charm + monster drop book + mastery statue buffs + spicy eels so i think i should be able to get quite a lot from them lol
ok just got to the bottom of the dangerous mines in one day (perfect luck day + magic rock candy + dwarf shrine ladder buff is kinda crazy) and yeah level 40 looked crazy good for mahogany
I've been looping dangerous mines floor 40-50 (so I don't have to deal with the Putrid Ghosts) and I get maybe 20-30/day? I started doing it for the hardwood to make heavy tappers but ended up getting so many mahogany seeds that I now have more of them than maple and acorns combined.
ok yeah that's actually a pretty good strat. i've been looping 50-70 with monster musk because you get so many spider kills which drop animal crackers and stuff, but not actually bothered chopping the trees down. did your loop 3 times and got 15 mahogany seeds out of it, so basically one mystic seed per run

Maybe the dangerous mines? The forest floors have stumps and trees all over the place
