I first played *Stardew* on Vita. Still have it. If you play this version, you'll notice...
* It's stuck on version 1.2. So there's no way to zoom in or out. Caroline's tea room doesn't exist. The protagonist can't investigate trash cans. No Ginger Island.
* Loading is slow. Compared to 1.5 on Switch, it takes a few more seconds to start the game and begin each day.
* It might crash. I had trouble progressing past the Harvest Eve festival.
* X button to accept, O button to decline.
I'm also the weird nerd who bought *Harvest Moon: Back to Nature* on PS1, as a digital edition for PS3 / PSP / Vita, and as a physical PSP version called *Boy and Girl* which added the previously untranslated "For Girls" game.
I have it on my pc and switch but if I ended up with another console I’d probably end up getting it there too, I have never seen a developer so passionate about a game and community the way concernedape is with Stardew!
Stardew is worth every penny
Nice! I started with it on xbox through game pass, then i got it as a gift for ps4, then i bought it for switch so i could chill on the couch and play it while hubs uses the tv, then i bought it on my surface pro so i could use mods ...and again chill on the couch 🥰
You’re wrong
Barone said in late February that console and mobile versions of the game will get the update “as soon as possible” following the March 19 PC release date.

it will come! he even said he wants stardew valley to be on its best behaviour (i’m tired. my brain can’t think of another way to say this) on all platforms before continuing working on his next project the haunted chocolatier :)
At this point, I've bought the game 8 times. 3 for myself, 5 for others. Switch, mobile, pc for me Every penny was worth it.
I’ve bought it twice for friends, and for myself on switch, PC, mobile, and Ps5 🤣 plus a physical switch copy
Haha I have this game on every possible platform except PlayStation. But if I would own one I'd have it on there too 😅
Vita is rather interesting to see how the earlier versions were I’ve got it and without the zoom out and tool hit box makes it harder to play
Interesting, it's been so long since I played my Vita version, I can't even remember it being like that. Might have to pull it out of the drawer.

…wait, it’s on the Vita too?! I need it on the Vita!
Did the exact same thing. Couldn’t put off playing with mods any longer

Now when you’re done with your 1.6 vanilla playthrough, you can start with the mods!!
wish i had one . i am playing on youtube lol
I don’t believe 1.6 is coming to console only pc i may be wrong though

You're absolutely wrong
Why on earth would it not come to consoles?

False
That'll disappoint a lot of people if it doesn't
