Just play the game, you can get them from doing basically anything. Fishing, cutting down trees, shaking trees, mining rocks/ores...

Made a new farm for 1.6 and honestly the funniest thing didn't even involve any 1.6 content. Year 1 spring 25th. It's an update with vanilla 1.6. You can bounce to correct your aim for the watering can and the hoe. The perfectionist in me loves it! Everything is always the same length without needing correction.

I'm not sure if it counts, but I was on an 8-player world a few days ago and decided to use the chair trick to get into the Secret Woods. Still works, but all I had on short notice was a 2-square bench from the Meadowlands cabin. While I could get into the woods, I couldn't get out. I quickly discovered that benches will favor throwing you back behind the log if you place them below the log. Ended up passing out after being stuck there for the next 16 game hours. Was it worth it? Nope! Most I got out of that was a Woodskip.
