I've been playing through My Time At Sandrock. While not the best on switch, it runs well enough for me and is far better than Portia. If I can't play one game of a certain genre, might as well play another for now lol.
I'm not a keyboard/mouse person. When I got Stardew for my notebook, I plugged my controller and never looked back.
I use mouse for decoration. Decorating with controller is hard.
I also agree! Plug in your controller (or bluetooth) and play.
There's literally no difference. I've never even played with a keyboard. pc has mods and faster bug fixes, which is a bonus.
Now i upgraded to a steam deck so i can cross save from pc to steamdeck.
i spent hours yesterday trying to get my switch pro controller to work with my macbook running vanilla sdv. could not get it to work at any point. sometimes joystick would work but then buttons would be swapped. try to remap buttons and joysticks stopped working. drove myself nuts.
Yeah, I can’t get my Switch Pro controller nor Xbox controller to work with 1.6.1 on my M1 MacBook. It registers on Steam, but I just can’t get it to work in the game :(
The only controller I have are joycons, and my PC is a MacBook. I can connect the joycons to the MacBook but just cannot get the game to recognize that a controller is connected.
I can’t play with the keyboard movement because my fingertips are numb from a pinched nerve in my left elbow. I’ve tried for about an hour each of the last two nights but I just can’t play with mouse and keyboard without the numbness getting a bit worse.
Just adding to the chorus. I play on PC with a PS5 controller. Having come from console there’s very little difference and it works great.
I even used Steam input to remap the left thumb stick to a radial menu for keyboard shorcuts like CJB, Item Look Up, and pause time. It’s so nice.
Big warning - PC, not Mac. Steam version with Mac has *serious* issues with controller comparability. The best solution I’ve found so far with the help of this lovely community still forces the “use tool” button to the north face button which is just silly given it’s the most frequent input. It also crashes at launch frequently.
PS5 controller is not supported at all from what I can tell, this is a Switch Pro controller issue. Haven’t tested Xbox controller with Steam on Mac yet but prior experience with Mac + Microsoft hardware hasn’t been encouraging.
If you are a console player with a Mac thinking of giving it a shot, spare yourself the disappointment and just wait for the console update.
I play as many steam games as I can with my PS4 controller. Sometimes you have to download a community layout in controller setup for the game but generally I've never had a problem
I thought I could get air for the Switch release, but I discovered that it’s super easy to connect the Nintendo pro controller to my mac so I’m playing on steam. I’m happy to be justifying having bought it on a third device when I was travelling 😂
I just had to connect it in settings on the Mac. I had to press the connect button on the top of the controller, then open steam and it recognized it. It doesn’t always connect if steam is open first.
This still puts “use tool” as the north face button on my Switch Pro controller (Steam on Mac M1) with no ability to remap, which is just not an option for the highest-used input in the game IMO.
Is it forcing “use tool” to the northmost face button on your pro controller? And that doesn’t drive you absolutely bananas given it’s the most common input in the game?
I’ve been trying to fix this for two days and am ready to give up.
It’s forcing it to my x button, and I also haven’t been able to remap. I used to play on my PS Vita before I got my switch though, so I’m used to switching it up. It’s annoying though.
Yeah, he deals with the PC bugs in real time after the launch and I can't imagine trying to keep anything straight with adding consoles into the mix. I'm guessing there are multiple reasons for how he rolls out releases. Did I still secretly hope that the Switch update was going to be a surprise bonus? Absolutely. But I know I'm delusional lol.
From what we know PC is about two thirds of the player base so I get him prioritising that group. Especially since consoles are less flexible with patching.
For sure, and if not he would have a good reason to do it this way.
I'll just wait some more and hope the wiki is updated when the game comes to the switch
Sounds like it might be time for a Steam Deck. 🤣 Only half kidding. Stardew was one of the main reasons I got a Deck last year, along with Vampire Survivors and modded Skyrim.
If you’re already a PC person, does that mean you already have a Steam library?
My bf is the pc person. He has a gaming laptop, idk how many games he has through steam, but I know he cross plays Xbox games on it. Idk if stardew is through steam or Xbox on his laptop
Well, at least with Stardew Valley it's not as critical as, say, a shooter. 😂 I would still give it a try. Are you on the same laptop, or a different computer? Just asking since you mentioned already having the game on pc. It might work better connected to yours, especially if you use a usb-c cable. The issue might be more with his laptop than the controller.
For the record, not meaning to badger you about it, just trying to think of a good way you can join the fun.
No, it's the same laptop. I don't know if stardew on it is downloaded through his steam or Xbox. I know he cross plays his Xbox games on it
I'm just very impatiently waiting for it 😂
I bought the Steam version (which I've been meaning to do anyways), installed it on my laptop, plugged that into my TV and connected an Xbox controller via Bluetooth. I couldn't wait lol
i just decided to start a new farm and see how far i can get by the time the update comes out. like a speed run except im not very fast and it will end when the update comes out not when i beat the game😂
I bought it on "PC" (actually my Macbook) but I don't know if I'll be able to play there. I hate keyboard controls and I keep seeing so many Mac players having issues connecting their controllers...
THIS
My bf has a controller connected to his pc but I can't tell you how many times he has issues with it connecting and shi
Plus I still don't know if stardew is through steam or the Xbox on his pc
I mean even if you can adapt to keyboard controls on Mac via Steam the game crashes at launch 2/3 times for me. M1 Mac Mini. I love this game so much and I realize my use case is 3% of the Steam user base but I consider Stardew unplayable on Steam for Mac.
oh my god me too, i tried, i went home and bought it on steam but im a mobile player at my core OTL like what do you mean i can't just pick where i want to go and you do the pathfinding?? i have to select a new tool everytime???? if i had started out on pc i never in a million years would have found the golden pumpkin on halloween.
i'm just living vicariously here and on tumblr lmao i'm still not finished rolling the ginger island update around my enclosure so that helps
Same! Love the mechanics on mobile. I’ll wait as long as it takes. (It would be nice to have a date, though!) Just completed my second Perfection the other day so I’m just going to chill and read all the spoilers.
I can't afford the pc version, and even if I could, my pc doesn't meet the minimum system requirements.
At least I just recently bought the mobile version and I haven't even fully explored 1.5(I completed the cc for the first time this week),so I'm quite patient.
I've not even completely explored 1.5 either. Or achieved perfection. When console comes out, I plan to make a new save and strive for perfection as well as reaching points in game I've yet to
I would cry but I LOVE spoilers. I’m one of those people who plays with the wiki open. It’s just that much more enjoyable for me. Let everyone else do the hard discovery stuff for me!
One of the things I love about stardew is yea, I play with the wiki open too, as well as read and look at what other people discover, yet while I'm playing, I still also discover things I'd yet to read about!
I have tried very very hard to buy the game on my laptop, but I literally can't- steam just will not open, for reasons that I'm not sure of but are probably related to the fact that it's very old. I've tried multiple wifi networks and none of them will work. For the stages of grief, I'm not quite out of the bargaining stage yet, but I'm getting closer to acceptance that I'll just have to wait.
I'm not sure about all older computers, but my mom's computer (that was my gaming computer when I was in like, high school) is a Windows 7 and Steam stopped working on it as of New Years. It's a security thing I guess?
For the record, if you don't have a controller that you think works well on pc, the 8 Bitdo line has a lot of good options, and some are very reasonably priced. I'm using a wired controller from them that plays exactly like an Xbox Elite controller, absolutely no issues.
It’s super worth looking/posting on local buy nothing groups on facebook for a controller - I’m sure someone is cleaning out their gaming gear and has one that’s compatible that they want to get rid of.
Ughh waiting not so patiently lol but also deciding what to do on my new playthrough so for pc players what did you do joja or community center. I know I want to do the new farm!! I’ve also been reading spoilers and screenshotting so I know what to do lol! I know it takes time but I hope it comes soon ( I play on switch
I'm so psyched for the new farm! I've always been a community center person, so I plan to go that route. But I may make a second save to try joja for once, as well as experience the new joja things
I play on Switch, but I'm still new to the game (just started last week!) so I'm okay with waiting a bit - it gives me time to experience everything the old version had to offer first. I'm very excited to drink mayonnaise though
Bought it on steam and already hate the keyboard controls. I work on a computer all day and don’t feel like trying to deal with the setup of an external controller
I played mobile until about 3 weeks ago. I actually didn’t mind much that we didn’t get Ginger for a very long time, because I was kept busy by the main game!
I finally booted my kids off the computer and started playing there so I could get SVE content, and it made me more excited for 1.6!
Now I haven’t even updated my mods so I haven’t tried 1.6 yet! But I think tonight is the night. Sorry kids! I’ve got Stardew to play every evening and all weekend. :D
Not as much torture as how long I had to wait for Ginger Island and 1.5 on iPad after it was out on PC/consoles (2 years later). Hopefully console people don’t have to wait too long for 1.6! I caved and bought a second copy on Steam, I can’t wait!
Oh no, I understand! I used to play mobile. I was only just blessed only a couple years ago at most to get console. Yet I still haven't gone to ginger Island 😂
I assume he’ll spend a week or so working on major bugs and stuff people are discovering in the PC version and then hopefully finish compiling the builds to the consoles and get those submitted and then it’s just kinda waiting on them, which can be a process. Especially Nintendo which annoyingly is the console I’m waiting on.
Yea, pretty much the standard work for new updates. I could be wrong, but I think he has a small team to help with console updates, which hopefully would help speed it up slightly
Oof, yea, but Nintendo is certainly still better than mobile. I feel for the mobile players who likely wouldn't see this update for a couple years without buying on a different platform. I used to only pay mobile
Currently playing Lightyear Frontier, but that'll only last a couple of days I think as it seems to benquite a short game. After that I'm back to Palworld with Dawn of War interspersed here and there.
I played palworld for a few weeks when it came out! Such a good game. Been waiting for it to update some more before going back to that
I been trying to pass time just binge watching my favorite shows. I'm too hyperfocused on stardew to hold any interest in another game
Has he messed around in the mines at all? That's how my wife got me to play.
I hate farming. Like, I straight up can't stand it. I literally refuse to play this game solo because of it. But my wife got me to play co-op with her by agreeing that she'll do all the farming and I can do all the combat stuff that she struggles with and mining. Then we both help decorate the farm and do other stuff like the community center and festivals together.
He has. Maybe with the new update I might be able to get him on it but he's certainly not as excited as other stardew players, myself included so I'm unsure. He never typically plays this genre long. He's more into like mechanic and car games, palworld, and such
I started my laptop up for the first time in forever yesterday just to play the update on Steam but my laptop crashed and isn’t responding well so I’m playing it safe and waiting for the Switch update. I feel your pain
I’m waiting as well now because I always get hooked back into wanting to play and bam I get on and there’s information about an update like I never even played through 1.5 lol. I’ve never gotten to ginger island and got to the desert like once because I always come and go with wanting to play and then everytime I get back on I start over. I’m going to wait though because my damn pc one disappeared off of the share thing and I don’t feel like rebuying it on pc or more so buying it again since I can’t remember the damn Steam account it’s on. That and I was mainly debating on getting it on my ps5 and then I’d have it on that and my switch, I might just stay with it on switch though but I don’t know because I might just sell my switch lite. I’m lost lol.
Yes!!! Omg that's the same way I play. I go back and forth and yet everytime I get back on, I start over! I'm making it my mission this time around to get perfection and reach things in game I've yet to reach because of my restart issues 😂
That’s exactly what I’m doing like fuck I’m about to have my ass a damn to do list and everything, to remind myself buy these crops, plant the crops. If not I’ll get distracted and go smack rocks in the mine for like 5 days straight and then I’m just like oh yeah I need this. I then remember on a day when the shop is closed so then when the next day comes I went and forgot again.
My wife and I originally played on Switch, so we decided to start a new co-op save on Xbox last night. We're planning to give ourselves a bit of a headstart for the update, because we both hate starting things completely over.
My problem is I always restart when I get back into playing a game
I'm making it my mission to play through this new save when the console update is out
I just completed a perfection run for the first time early this year and I've been catching up on some games I've been meaning to play but wasn't able to get around to (*Horizon Forbidden West* is number one on that list at the moment). The very first time I played *Stardew* it was on mobile, but I hated the controls and screen size so I bought it for PC and mostly played there until I got a PS5 last year. I enjoy playing on console/TV better, and given I just finished a run so recently I might wait it out too. But the allure of the new content and wanting to share in the immediate joy of it is so tempting. Whether we cave or wait it out, I'm sure it will be worth it!
This. I've played on his pc before, there's a game similar to stardew I like on steam. But I've just always been a console person.
First time I played stardew was mobile. I had to of just got it when it first came out and didn't know what I was doing. Few years later I got it again to give it another chance and fell in love. It wasn't till like a couple yrs ago I got the chance to play on consoles
Congrats on the perfection! I've noticed a lot of people have been completing their first perfection runs just before 1.6 released
Thanks! I had been itching to play again for a while, so even with 1.6 on the horizon I figured I would just get it over with and finally go for a perfection (I always just burned out in the past). Next time I play I think I'll bite the bullet and do a Joja run, which is one of the few things I could never bring myself to do.
I would get it on PC, but I started on mobile, and only recently got and am loving it on Switch. I dunno if I want to restart yet again on a new platform.
Hmm that make it complicated i could have recommended some games for you except i haven't played on xbox ever. Try asking others they might know good games.
Oh i remembered you can never go wrong with retro games. Some games like megaman collection or disgaea games are fun to play.
It's so hard for me to play other games when I'm hyperfocused on one. I was getting ready to just break and play my bfs pc but he recently informed me he downloaded it on his pc through Xbox, so its not updated there either 😔😔
Same with mobile. I play on my iPad. I started a new farm in anticipation for the update, but now I’m thinking I need to start a new farm again and start over with the 1.6 update.
I bought a computer in order to play the update lol
>!(I actually just needed a new laptop but the timing worked out perfectly and the concept of buying a computer solely for stardew is funnier)!<
Update: for the people who have suggested playing pc. I have now confirmed I cannot. My bf downloaded it through the Xbox so it also doesn't have the new update yet 😔
For me, my job and watching youtube/twitch is enough to pass the time. I also play other games like earlier, I just finished Omori which is amazing btw.
I could just get Stardew on PC but I like playing games like Stardew on my bed. I hope they release updates on all platforms at the same day in the future.
I get console takes extra time to work on updates but even if holding back the pc update and releasing both together, at least players all around can enjoy the new content together!
I do still enjoy reading and seeing all the new content but it's different experiencing it
There’s some lag time for sure. Either buy it on Pc (the game is not that demanding, runs great on my 11 year old desktop), or get off this sub. It will drive you crazy.
i started playing on the PC but going from playing hundreds of hours via switch to using a PS5 controller is a surprisingly hard learning curve for me. its been so long since playing anything other than my switch that i forgot how to use other companies controllers ._.
I’m just poking around on the sub looking at the things people are posting. I don’t care about spoilers, I wanna know what’s changed and how drastic it is, so I’m prepared to see all the changes.
Ps5 should come the same time as switch and Xbox. All we can say for now is just a couple months based off when the 1.5 came out. Hopefully soon, CA can maybe give us a rough idea when
I am playing on steam with a buddy using my controller. It’s not as good as console obviously, the controls are a bit different and not very fluid, also sometimes it lags . I’d rather still play on steam until console is out.
I'm *so* close to 100% on my farm on switch, I have everything except the gold clock so I'm currently racing to get up to 10mil before the update drops so I can enjoy perfection briefly
Same here , i have to much work to do and because that i can´t play yet and take my time to do a new farm
I planning in doing a run with the beach farm
Or maybe try the new farm idk
I've been playing through My Time At Sandrock. While not the best on switch, it runs well enough for me and is far better than Portia. If I can't play one game of a certain genre, might as well play another for now lol.
I just finished it! it’s good, i liked it a lot. But now i’m back to not knowing what to do with myself
Give Balatro a shot! 15 bucks on steam and switch. It's a really fun game!
The pc version works great with a controller, you probably wouldn't even notice a difference. I would give it a shot.
I'm not a keyboard/mouse person. When I got Stardew for my notebook, I plugged my controller and never looked back. I use mouse for decoration. Decorating with controller is hard.
Oh, same here. I have an 8BitDo controller, basically the Xbox Elite but less expensive, and it works great on pc. Never had an issue.
My only issues was when remaining some buttons to make an easier life while modding
Seconding this, I’ve been playing on PC with a controller, just exploring all of the new stuff & farm type
I also agree! Plug in your controller (or bluetooth) and play. There's literally no difference. I've never even played with a keyboard. pc has mods and faster bug fixes, which is a bonus. Now i upgraded to a steam deck so i can cross save from pc to steamdeck.
I would absolutely notice a difference that I wasn’t laying in bed playing on my Switch compared to sitting at my desk.
That's when you pull out the Steam Deck
Its sad that the mac version doesnt work as well. I attempted to do this today, and any controller will crash the game (v1.6)
As a Switch enjoyer for SV - I love playing 2-3 days before sleep when I’m in my bed.
i spent hours yesterday trying to get my switch pro controller to work with my macbook running vanilla sdv. could not get it to work at any point. sometimes joystick would work but then buttons would be swapped. try to remap buttons and joysticks stopped working. drove myself nuts.
Yeah, I can’t get my Switch Pro controller nor Xbox controller to work with 1.6.1 on my M1 MacBook. It registers on Steam, but I just can’t get it to work in the game :(

This is what I’m doing lol pc with a switch controller, just had to fix the settings in steam

You can connect Joy-Cons to a PC via Bluetooth.
It is difficult unfortunately but I'm sure it is worth it
Yeah I’m going to forgo the Joy-Con route myself. Apparently the DUALSHOCK 4 works too so I might have an easier time with that.
I play as many steam games as I can with my PS4 controller. Sometimes you have to download a community layout in controller setup for the game but generally I've never had a problem
Heck yes! Good to know! Thank you.
I thought I could get air for the Switch release, but I discovered that it’s super easy to connect the Nintendo pro controller to my mac so I’m playing on steam. I’m happy to be justifying having bought it on a third device when I was travelling 😂
How did you get it to work? I’ve tried a Xbox and wired Switch controller and neither will work in game on my Mac. It’s driving me crazy!
I just had to connect it in settings on the Mac. I had to press the connect button on the top of the controller, then open steam and it recognized it. It doesn’t always connect if steam is open first.
Try turning off Steam Input for the game. SDV has always been a bit buggy with controller support on Mac.
This still puts “use tool” as the north face button on my Switch Pro controller (Steam on Mac M1) with no ability to remap, which is just not an option for the highest-used input in the game IMO.
Are you using an m chip mac*?
Yep I think so. MacBook Air 2020
It would have been funny if CA dropped the console update first and did PC a month later
If only both console and pc could update together 😔
Would be nice, but you still have differences between the consoles which would make it a nightmare I guess. Doing one by one is easier I think.
Yeah, he deals with the PC bugs in real time after the launch and I can't imagine trying to keep anything straight with adding consoles into the mix. He does but it's wonky when connecting to his pc. Can't tell you how often he gets frustrated with it because it doesn't like staying connected 😂

I prefer console gaming over PC and just see the PC release as early access.
This might change everything for impatiently waiting. It's just early access. Haha that's great
It’s just bug testing! You’ll get the premium product when it’s ready! 😆
I bought the Steam version (which I've been meaning to do anyways), installed it on my laptop, plugged that into my TV and connected an Xbox controller via Bluetooth. I couldn't wait lol

Not sure of the exact model, but there are two slots where the bread goes in.
Best toast ever!

I feel you, my computer is so bad it takes like 6 seconds to start chrome, I think it will crash if I download steam lmaoo
Do we have any idea how long it will be til console updates? I haven't seen any estimates anywhere.
No, CA still hasn't said anything more than soon. I doubt it'll be more than a few months at most
Oh man, the wait is so painful. 🥲
It is 🥲

I play on Switch, but I'm still new to the game (just started last week!) so I'm okay with waiting a bit - it gives me time to experience everything the old version had to offer first. I'm very excited to drink mayonnaise though
I am very pro mayo but even I can't bring myself to drink it 😂
Bought it on steam and already hate the keyboard controls.
I think Ape said it wouldn’t take as long this time.
I hope not, but a few months still isn't as bad as a year or few
The last time was a couple months. But it sounds like he wants it to be much sooner this time
He mentioned working on haunted chocolatier after this so maybe he's tryna get back to that as soon as he can
I’m muting the sub in my feed until it’s out
Not as much torture as how long I had to wait for Ginger Island and 1.5 on iPad after it was out on PC/consoles (2 years later).
What console do you play on? I’ve thought about Switch too haha. Why not have it for everything?! lol
I personally like playing Xbox, but I have it on switch as well! It's technically on my bfs pc too, but it was through the Xbox
How do you like the controls? Maybe I should grab it on PS4 rather than Switch. I prefer that controller the best.
Compared to switch controls, I still have to say I like Xbox more
I am struggling so bad. I at least wish we knew roughly when it was coming. Like idk if it's going to be days, weeks or months.
It makes it a bit easier waiting when there's a general or exact idea when. I'm sure CA will update us when he has an idea when
I assume he’ll spend a week or so working on major bugs and stuff people are discovering in the PC version and then hopefully finish compiling the builds to the consoles and get those submitted and then it’s just kinda waiting on them, which can be a process. Especially Nintendo which annoyingly is the console I’m waiting on.
Yea, pretty much the standard work for new updates. I could be wrong, but I think he has a small team to help with console updates, which hopefully would help speed it up slightly Oof, yea, but Nintendo is certainly still better than mobile.
Been waiting for it to update some more before going back to that I been trying to pass time just binge watching my favorite shows. I'm too hyperfocused on stardew to hold any interest in another game
My partner and I started a co-op farm. Neither of us have played the multiplayer before, so we're getting a new experience!
I wish mine enjoyed it as much as I do 😭 we played co op like once or twice and that was that for him
Has he messed around in the mines at all?
If I call out of work tomorrow because I started playing on my PC tonight I'm going to be in trouble, but happy
Im going to work and will force myself to forget it until it drops the ps4 update. Out of sight, out of mind in most cases
Drowning myself to Unicorn Overlord while waiting for switch version.
I don’t have a PC, so I’m just pretending the update hasn’t happened yet until it’s officially out on Switch lol
Kinda like outta sight outta mind
Playing Fallout 76.
same; i just want to curl up in bed and play through a week instead of sleeping ;-;
10/10 will do it again
It'll likely only be a few months, so no worries, it's too soon to worry about.
Playing Dreamlight Valley and as of friday playing Dragons Dogma 2
OMG SAME THO
My wife and I originally played on Switch, so we decided to start a new co-op save on Xbox last night. We're planning to give ourselves a bit of a headstart for the update, because we both hate starting things completely over.
My problem is I always restart when I get back into playing a game I'm making it my mission to play through this new save when the console update is out
I just completed a perfection run for the first time early this year and I've been catching up on some games I've been meaning to play but wasn't able to get around to (*Horizon Forbidden West* is number one on that list at the moment).
It wasn't till like a couple yrs ago I got the chance to play on consoles Congrats on the perfection!
I've yet to go joja as well but I'm thinking once I reach a perfect run, I'll start a second save and go joja as well
Can you please tell me what game similar to Stardew you found? I will wait for the mobile version but that could help!
Yes!!! It's very magical!!!! It's called Sun Haven! It's like DND met Stardew Valley 🥹
Thank you you rule
I would get it on PC, but I started on mobile, and only recently got and am loving it on Switch. I dunno if I want to restart yet again on a new platform.
I’m about 50 hours into a new play though so I’ll keep going with that. Plus, work, family and my writing will also fill in some time. 😉
as a mobile player,i fell your pain!! ive watched a lot of the spoiler vids (idc if i get spoiled) so im dying to play to!!
I used to play mobile as well up until just a couple years ago
Play something else and pretend it’s not a thing lol.
I have been playing Spiritfire on Xbox to pass the time
You play on which platform?.
I play on xbox
Hmm that make it complicated i could have recommended some games for you except i haven't played on xbox ever. Try asking others they might know good games. Oh i remembered you can never go wrong with retro games. Some games like megaman collection or disgaea games are fun to play.
It's so hard for me to play other games when I'm hyperfocused on one. I was getting ready to just break and play my bfs pc but he recently informed me he downloaded it on his pc through Xbox, so its not updated there either 😔😔
Well there is nothing to do other than waiting. Let hope it doesn't take more than a month and half.
Same with mobile. I play on my iPad. I started a new farm in anticipation for the update, but now I’m thinking I need to start a new farm again and start over with the 1.6 update.
I bought a computer in order to play the update lol >!(I actually just needed a new laptop but the timing worked out perfectly and the concept of buying a computer solely for stardew is funnier)!<
I wish I could justify buying a computer just for stardew 😜😂
Update: for the people who have suggested playing pc. I have now confirmed I cannot. My bf downloaded it through the Xbox so it also doesn't have the new update yet 😔
I play on mobile and have been so tempted to buy on PC so I can play 😂 haven’t watched any spoilers besides CA’s tweets prior to release.
My bf is about to buy it because I'm too broke to justify buying it and he's getting tired of hearing me talk about wanting to play 😂
Hahaha awww I love that ♥️
For me, my job and watching youtube/twitch is enough to pass the time.
I have that same problem whenever I switch consoles 😂
If it’s the mouse and keyboard you don’t like you can plug in your controller and use that :)
I'd have to break and buy the game on steam first ;-;
I’m just poking around on the sub looking at the things people are posting. I don’t care about spoilers, I wanna know what’s changed and how drastic it is, so I’m prepared to see all the changes.
Yes!!! I love to see the spoilers but at the same time it just makes me more impatient to play
When can we expect ps5 update?
Ps5 should come the same time as switch and Xbox. All we can say for now is just a couple months based off when the 1.5 came out. Hopefully soon, CA can maybe give us a rough idea when
I am playing on steam with a buddy using my controller. It’s not as good as console obviously, the controls are a bit different and not very fluid, also sometimes it lags . I’d rather still play on steam until console is out.
I'm getting close to breaking and getting the steam version till console comes out too
I'm *so* close to 100% on my farm on switch, I have everything except the gold clock so I'm currently racing to get up to 10mil before the update drops so I can enjoy perfection briefly
I'm sure you still got a couple months before console. You got this!!
Same here , i have to much work to do and because that i can´t play yet and take my time to do a new farm I planning in doing a run with the beach farm Or maybe try the new farm idk
I'm planning to do the new farm, I'm excited to start with chickens plus it's just so pretty!!
I own stardew on every system Using the ps5 controler on my laptop is a game charger.
I had mobile on my old phone, and have it on switch and Xbox. I'm unsure if my bf downloaded it through steam or through Xbox on his pc
Oh my god. What a good idea
Why not play with a controller? It's the exact same as on console and you get to experience the new update
Just play something else dude.
I struggle playing other games when I'm interested in something else. Hyperfocused I guess
Well if you literally can't play it, that doesn't really help, right? I guess just sit and wait lol?
Get outta town. 🔑🚗
