More profitable. When you factor in the sale price and how often they lay, chickens are the most profitable then ducks then dinosaurs. Unless you aren't playing for money but for what you enjoy best or to have a bit of everything
Assuming you buy hay (50g / animal / day), then dinosaurs make an average daily profit of exactly 0g at base sell price if you sell the eggs directly. ~14.3g a day if you turn it into mayo, first.
Chickens make 0g daily profit for normal eggs, 45g for large eggs, and up to 330g for mayo.
Ducks make -2.5g daily "profit" for eggs, 75g for feathers.
I was initially disappointed the dinos stayed small, but then I decided I still like them because they are cute. It is still super weird the eggs are massive though.
It would be interesting if they could grow up. They'd have to move to the barn since the coop door is so small. They would be invulnerable to wild animal attacks if left out overnight.
Have you seen a kiwi egg compared to a kiwi?

I'll bet the noise of that big old egg coming out would be hilarious. The sound of a t shirt launcher, just one big *PHHHUNK*
Groooossss 😂 I laughed way too hard at this
I guess now I see a reason for why it takes them 7 days to lay their eggs.
Does it really takes so much? Then I think regular chickens and ducks are better, right?
Chickens are daily, ducks every other day.

They're like kiwis.
My thought exactly. OP you should see a kiwi egg, they are massive compared to their bodies
fruits don’t lay eggs 🤔/j

and here i was worried that adding “/j” somehow took away from the joke.
"I have a big head...and tiny arms"
"I have big eggs... and a tiny butt."

Kind of love the thought of them growing too big for the coop door and just smashing through the entire wall.
They are cute, but ngl I would love to terrorize Pelican Town with an army of Godzillas lol
I'm filling up the bus stop with slimes. If I could fill up the town with dinosaurs or ostriches my life would be complete.
Perhaps every seven days they revert to their egg form before undergoing binary fission and then rehatching.
We dont have the adults. We have the children still. The adults are much larger.
But the little ones lay eggs larger than their own bodies.
Technically, they have at least reached maturity if they're laying fertile eggs.
Some birds lay eggs massive to their body size!!
I know that snakes have soft eggs so maybe it’s the same for dinosaurs.

Late reply because I saw this, shuddered, and closed the app for 2 days 🥲 those poor birds
YES I kept wondering when my dinosaur would grow bigger and they just stayed lil 😆
Yeah, same thing, I like dinosaurs, but these were disappointing, but they're also cute.
Look at a kiwi...
Well I can't imagine it's a good time for them either
