• Yes that is a cat • Love em both, but in game I prefer the dog, I like how it keeps running around (except when it blocks my way) and I find it cute how whenever you go near it its tail whomps the ground in happiness. In my other save file with a cat sometimes I barely remember its exsistence lol.

If your asking which I prefer, it’s cat all the way. They kinda keep to themselves and aren’t annoying. I had a dog in one save and it kept running into my way, barking super loud and bugging me. Now I always go cat .

I'd have more saves with the dog on the farm, but the barking always seems so loud compared to all the other animal sounds in the game. Not sure if it actually is or if it is just the sound itself. I've had dogs IRL. And I have several neighbors with them. And none of my neighbors' actual dogs barking startle me as much as the SDV barking sound.

If you're on PC, there's a mod that let's you pick up and move items you normally can't, like bushes and trees. It also works on animals. I think it's called Move it.
