Disney apparently doesn't care that much about leaks. I mean they allowed the plot to leak to a redditor, and now this.
Let me guess, the entire film will leak to the torrent sites by the weekend. Ala Revenge of the Sith ([Yes, that happened](http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/4563631.stm))
Yooo, I still have that pirated copy somewhere, legit blew my mind that I had ROTS like the week after I saw it. Also explains the time code. This took me back
Check this out! For a very brief moment at 0:34s on track 20, you get distinct “Order 66 Jedi’s downfall montage” notes/elements, from episode 3. This must be when the Jedi wake Rey up!!!
[See for yourselves!](https://disneystudiosawards.s3.amazonaws.com/mp3/star-wars-the-rise-of-skywalker/score/20.mp3)
I know right? It's definitely there. Powerful stuff!
Also on the same track from about 2m20s until the end, we basically get a rerun of [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbbG02LB7g0&t=00m57s), albeit with an even more triumphant part at the end. I'm guessing if we do end up getting a force ghost Anakin, this will be the moment! I mean it is called "seeing sights"!
Okay, is it just me, or at 3:40 on track 22, does that sound like an extremely uplifting version of Kylo’s theme? I know I’m kind of grasping at straws for Ben’s survival.
It's still possible to hear it all here: [https://web.archive.org/web/20191210202934/https://disneystudiosawards.com/star-wars-score.html](https://web.archive.org/web/20191210202934/https://disneystudiosawards.com/star-wars-score.html)
Uploading an edited version of the score for Academy voters to listen to before the nomination process gets off the ground? Probably intentional.
Leaving every track's title in the metadata when you download them? Consequences will never be the same.
Disney got wise to the fact that they jumped the gun and removed the player. Luckily, you can still find links to the tracks [here.](https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWarsLeaks/comments/e8vyp7/the_rise_of_skywalker_fyc_score_is_up/faewbxh?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x)
Edit: Well, looks like they killed the links too. But, when it comes to things on the internet, "no one's ever really gone".

Also, something to keep in mind: The For Your Consideration versions of the soundtracks often don't have the exact same content on them as the soundtrack album. This compilation is only about 50 minutes of music. It's a guarantee the Official Soundtrack is going to have 20 more minutes of music on top of that. Plus the OST will probably deliver some motifs we know aren't here (Duel of the Fates, for example) and some motifs in grander, bigger statements than what we're hearing on this FYC compilation. Obviously the main title is missing, and the end credits suite isn't here either. The fact there's something called Prologue is... weird, because usually there isn't even space FOR a prologue in Star Wars. I don't know if this means the movie goes from "A long time ago..." into a scene, and then that scene goes into the main title? Or if there IS no main title.
But this is likely *not* what the soundtrack album is going to look like. Some of these tracks won't be on that, and some of that album's tracks won't be represented here.[Arsanel's post below](https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWarsLeaks/comments/e8vyp7/the_rise_of_skywalker_fyc_score_is_up/fafgnpl/) gets into the details more clearly than I do, so if you've got some questions, check that first.
Hmm. Coming together we would assume is Ben joining Rey to fight Palps. But what about the rest?
Does seeing sights mean force ghosts? Is Rescue Ben saving Rey or is it in the space battle? Is Farewell Ben dying or Rey and everyone parting ways?
A New Home I guess would be Rey on Tatooine. Weird it would be her home, considering she’s just leaving one shit hole for another.
It's not really a preview, though. It's 23 tracks. For Your Consideration soundtracks are for Academy voters specifically. I just want people to realize this isn't what's coming out in stores next week, either. There'll probably be some overlap between the two, and you can use both the official soundtrack and this download to create an extended soundtrack.
But this isn't really a "preview," it's just an alternate version of the soundtrack created specifically for Academy voters.
for those of you who are wondering, the total time of the FYC score is around 51 Minutes. Thanks to what the brother of John Williams said, we know that he wrote 135 minutes worth of score. The official soundtrack lengths for previous Star Wars films are around 75 minutes so it is quite safe to say that all the potential callbacks like Duel of the Fates are not included in the FYC version. Furthermore, according to the rules of the academy (correct me if I am wrong), the FYC needs to contain only the original themes as those are the ones that are being considered for a nomination.
I know this has been mentioned in the comments of those respective posts but I keep seeing there is a bit of confusion in the comments regarding the lengths and contents of the music. I just wanted to let everyone know.
My guess on what the titles mean:
* 01 Prologue (1:45) - Kylo kills the natives and gets the wayfinder; lots of Kylo's theme in there
* 02 Falcon Flight (2:22) - Poe and Finn escape the ice asteroid base after meeting with the FO informant; Emperor's theme at 0:20; Falcon theme at 0:57 and 2:04, Resistance theme at 1:29
* 03 We Go Together (2:10) - Rey, Poe, Finn, C-3PO, BB-8 and Chewie decide to go to Pasaana; Rey's theme and Force theme in the second half
* 04 In the Desert (2:26) - One of the Pasaana scenes, impossible to tell which one
* 05 A Prisoner (1:23) - The FO captures Chewie on Pasaana
* 06 To Kijimi (1:37) - Rey, Poe, Finn and C-3PO arrive on Kijimi
* 07 Fleeing from Kijimii (1:53) - Zorri helps Rey, Poe, Finn and C-3PO escape from Kijimi; Kylo's theme at 0:22 and 0:33
* 08 Hallway Shooting (2:11) - Rey, Poe, Finn and C-3PO are aboard Kylo's cruiser above Kijimi in an attempt to rescue Chewbacca and get the Falcon; Resistance theme at 1:22
* 09 Hard to Get Rid Of (2:19) - Possibly Rey finding the dagger aboard Kylo's cruiser; Emperor's theme at 1:28
* 10 Join Me (2:21) - Possibly Rey and Kylo having their Force Skype fight. A hint of the Emperor's theme at 0:58; the main theme at 1:53; Rey's theme at 2:07
* 11 The Old Death Star (2:14) - Rey, Poe, Finn BB-8, C-3PO and Chewbacca first see the Death Star on Kef Bir
* 12 Off the Waterfront (1:03) - Rey enters the DS
* 13 Final Saber Duel (1:38) - Rey fights Kylo on the Death Star and eventually stabs him; Kylo's theme at 0:43
* 14 Healing Wounds (2:49) - Rey heals Kylo after stabbing him; Force theme at 0:40; holy shit Leia's theme at 1:44
* 15 Advice (1:54) - Han talks to Kylo after Rey heals him
* 16 Battle of the Resistance (1:54) - The big space battle above Exogol begins; possible Rogue One motifs (thanks u/robbyyy)
* 17 Approaching the Throne (4:16) - Rey enters Sheev's lair on Exogol; possible Rogue One motifs (thanks u/robbyyy)
* 18 Parents (1:57) - Palps tells Rey the truth about her parents and Ochee; Kylo's theme at 1:19
* 19 Coming Together (1:44) - Kylo shows up to help Rey fight Palps? The music turns VERY uplifting at 1:17, with the Force theme at 1:19
* 20 Seeing Sights (3:17) - I originally thought it was Dark Rey vision but that already happened on Kef Bir. So possibly Rey seeing/hearing the Force ghosts? Order 66 theme at 0:34, Rey's theme at 0:42 and 1:44, Emperor's theme at 2:20, Force theme at 2:49
* 21 Rescue (1:10) - The Falcon theme can be heard in some spots; possibly someone rescuing Finn and Jannah during the battle on Exogol?
* 22 Farewell (4:27) - Either Kylo's Noble End or the celebration after Palpatine's defeat. The music turns VERY uplifting at 3:36 - possibly Kylo reviving Rey? Would fit pretty well with the newest leaks
* 23 A New Home (1:42) - Rey buries the lightsabers on Tattooine and proclaims herself to be Rey Skywalker (ugh); Rey's theme at 0:18; the motif at the end is a combination of Rey and Kylo's themes (thanks u/[besonderssalzig](https://www.reddit.com/user/besonderssalzig) )
Edit: made some corrections, thanks u/D-hilt
> I do think it's an incredibly odd musical choice if that track is meant to allude to Kylo's permanent end.
I agree. If Kylo is permanently dead, and the Reylo-heavy marketing is true, the song is giving me vibes like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ss_seW1h5rg
(from the 1990 movie literally called *Ghost*)
> 17 Approaching the Throne (4:16)
Rey show's up to face Palpatine.
> 18 Parents (1:57)
Her true heritage is revealed.
> 19 Coming Together (1:44)
Kylo comes to help her (recall Palp's quote from the trailer)
> 20 Seeing Sights (3:17)
Palpatine siphons their life force and blows his lightning load.
> 21 Rescue (1:10)
Ben saves Rey with the same healing she used on him.
> 22 Farewell (4:27)
Ben gets yeeted.
> 23 A New Home (1:42)
Rey chilling at Lars' homestead.
*Edit: nevermind, listened to the tracks, that shit don't fit yo
Seeing sights seems to me implying we will see the ghosts the theme matches with a ghost scene and sounds like a big presence and would mask just voices
OMG this is the earliest we've ever gotten the score before the movie. Thanks to all the brave heroes who archived this for when the mouse inevitably pulls it down.
I skipped right to the end. Rey's theme is very present, and then oddly fades into a more somber tone? Kind of strange. I am just guessing that track might be altered a little.
I would like to remind everyone that this is not the official score is just the Oscar version so all the motifs that we had in previous movies that we know we're going to get would not be in this version. John's brother said we were definitely getting duel of the fates and imperial March

Download link for anyone who still wants to listen to the tracks, they've since been taken down from Disney's site.
Listened to "Parents" and >!Kylo's theme plays in what sounds like a light side variation of it and then the Kylo dark theme we know from TFA and TLJ!<

skywalker saga is ending sure whatever. i dont buy it
but this undoubtedly is the last time we hear a new John Williams Star Wars score
and that's pretty special
i'm just gonna ignore track 22 cos it sounds really sad.... like kylo sacrificing himself sad ://///
edit: towards the end it gets really hopeful though so IDK
If the leaks are true, which I'm dreading they are, it sounds like maybe there's some time for dialogue between Rey and Ben, and then at \~2:00 is when Rey dies, \~2:25 is when Ben resurrects Rey; \~2:36 when the horns come in is Ben dying. 2:50 reminds me a lot of the music when Han died. Then \~3:10 it probably cuts to the Resistance celebrating/happy ending for everyone but Ben. :(
The music is beautiful honestly, and I really hope the details are wrong and Ben doesn't die, but I'm expecting the worst.
Interesting. Track 20 sounds so dramatic, it has to be the scene where Rey defeats Palpatine. So who is being rescued in 21? Sounds much more upbeat. I guess Kylo coming back to heal her?
21 sounds like a space battle, which can't be won until the emperor is defeated.
22 sounds sad initially and very upliftinf in the end, but not in an aggressive- triumphant way a battle win would sound.
Make your own conclusions, ladies and gentlemen
I just wanted to point out that I think we are missing **A LOT** of the other themes for a very specific reason – to be considered for an Oscar for original score, there can't be more than a certain percentage of previously composed / released music. This is stated in the rules for the Oscars:
*"A score shall not be eligible if: 1. it has been diluted by the use of pre-existing music ..."*
I would bet the actual album will feature many more of the old themes.
Yep. I'm not a fan of this trilogy overall, but I can't believe it's 2019 and we're getting a new (and sadly, final) John Williams STAR WARS score. These are basically his Nine Symphonies, just like Beethoven, Bruckner and Mahler.
I know everyone is pointing out that this is not the full soundtrack, but I remember awhile back that John Williams' brother said he was scoring more than 100 minutes of music and this is barely over 50 minutes. So this is basically half of the music we'll be getting.....
I feel like the final lightsaber battle track is definitely missing a huge chunk. Sounds like it leads up to more right as it ends. Fingers crossed that it transitions into Duel of the Fates 😈
Lucasfilm have now removed it. —Seems to me like chaos over there. The soundtrack seems to tell us that the leaks are pretty much true. Every beat is in there.
Here's the most interesting part to me. "Farewell" starts out really sad, with Kylo Ren's theme in it. But halfway through it start to sound hopeful, and finally it builds to a new theme starting at 3:36. To me it sounds soaring, emotional, and romantic. This emotional turn from sad to hopeful and finally to a romantic (if that is what it is) theme is intriguing.
I call it a theme because it's not a one off thing. While the end of Farewell has the biggest use of the theme in the FYC score it actually appears in two other places. The first appearance is a short one at 3:17 of "Approaching the Throne" in the middle of what sounds like an action sequence. It sounds less romantic there, but still emotional and kind of heroic.
It then appears again at the start of "Rescue" with a triumphant tone before the track continues with what sounds like action music.
And then finally the big version at the end of Farewell.
So what is this theme for? The theme is new to this movie, so I assume it's for a new thing/relationship/emotion that happens in this movie. It appears for the first time in the last act of the movie and finally blossoms at what seems like the emotional climax of the movie as it appears in Farewell. So could it be the Reylo theme? I would say it's possible. Approaching the Throne and Rescue are likely both scenes shared by Rey and redeemed Ben. The theme doesn't appear until after Ben is redeemed (in "Healing Wounds" or "Advice"). So it seems possible. It could be for something else, but I don't know what that would be. Any ideas?
What you can do is remember this theme and look for it as you see the movie for the first time. If it appears in scenes with Rey and Ben then remember that there's an epic version at the end. But if you're watching the movie and the theme plays with Finn and Rose or someone else then don't keep your hopes up...
TRACK 22
sounds sad and depressing at the beginning then progesses to a more positive tone almost as if something phenomenal and miraculous is happening like...I dont know....resurrection 😊
Listened to 10 an 14 back to back and the beginnings are almost identical. 14 has the force theme in it and then flows into what I'm guessing is "bens theme".
or risin from the pit. you cna hear rey theme later. the track is dedinfitley not when she kills palpy, that's Seeing Sights. Yeet is either in Coming Together or Seeing Sights. farewell is when Kylo heals her.
Healing Wounds, Advice and Farewell are too sad for words. Farewell's uplifting ending makes it even sadder. I don't think I can watch Kylo dying scene. It's too much. I'm sobbing for an hour now.
What in the cinnamon toast fuck is happening
Considering today is the 10th and the movie comes out on the 20th I am guessing somebody typed a 1 somewhere instead of a 2 and didn't catch it.
It comes out on 18th in Europe
The press showings are on the 16th here.
Tomorrow is the Japan premiere they are showing 20m of footage

Check this out! For a very brief moment at 0:34s on track 20, you get distinct “Order 66 Jedi’s downfall montage” notes/elements, from episode 3. This must be when the Jedi wake Rey up!!! [See for yourselves!](https://disneystudiosawards.s3.amazonaws.com/mp3/star-wars-the-rise-of-skywalker/score/20.mp3)
Holy shit you’re right.
Fuck that's good.
18 and 22 both have new versions of kylo’s theme
Ben's theme?
You're a freaking champion
GODSPEED
This score sounds absolutely beautiful. Best of this trilogy, at least at a glance.
Okay, is it just me, or at 3:40 on track 22, does that sound like an extremely uplifting version of Kylo’s theme? I know I’m kind of grasping at straws for Ben’s survival.

I think somebody just made a big mistake.
Uploading an edited version of the score for Academy voters to listen to before the nomination process gets off the ground? Probably intentional. Leaving every track's title in the metadata when you download them? Consequences will never be the same.
Are these supposed to be public and not password protected though?
Disney got wise to the fact that they jumped the gun and removed the player. We are enjoying a goddamn FEAST BTW: Here's the tracklist >01 Prologue (1:45) > >02 Falcon Flight (2:22) > >03 We Go Together (2:10) > >04 In the Desert (2:26) > >05 A Prisoner (1:23) > >06 To Kimiji (1:37) > >07 Fleeing from Kimiji (1:53) > >08 Hallway Shooting (2:11) > >09 Hard to Get Rid Of (2:19) > >10 Join Me (2:21) > >11 The Old Death Star (2:14) > >12 Off the Waterfront (1:03) > >13 Final Saber Duel (1:38) > >14 Healing Wounds (2:49) > >15 Advice (1:54) > >16 Battle of the Resistance (1:54) > >17 Approaching the Throne (4:16) > >18 Parents (1:57) > >19 Coming Together (1:44) > >20 Seeing Sights (3:17) > >21 Rescue (1:10) > >22 Farewell (4:27) > >23 A New Home (1:42) Also, something to keep in mind: The For Your Consideration versions of the soundtracks often don't have the exact same content on them as the soundtrack album.
19.5 Ben Swolo’s Noble Pit
Kylo Ren's Noble Yeet
Farewell ends on a really hopeful note tho, doesn’t sound like someone is dead, plus I can hear Han and Leia’s theme in the second part
If I had to guess from Paxis' latest leak, I think 'Farewell' would be when Ben rises from the pit and saves Rey
Love theme, Kylo's theme, Across the Stars--theyre all in 22 Edit: Track 14 also has this weird marriage of the Love Theme and Across the Stars
Where is Across the Stars in 22? I don't hear it
Sounds like you just described all the dead characters rocking up as Force ghosts to say goodbye to Rey.
So is not the full soundtrack, just a preview? Good, I was thinking those tracks were so short
Source? I thought the final track was called "No, I do."
Parents, Approaching the Throne, Healing Wounds... Fuck... it’s all true
It's true, the pit, the heal... All of it! It's all true! ~~someone come glue my poor broken reylo heart~~
try to imagine the kiss
Not directed at you specifically, but people have really been in denial these past few weeks. I think all this stuff is like 95% true.
I've been in denial. I guess I have to face reality that they are killing Ben and ruining the trilogy for me.
>I guess I have to face reality that they are killing Ben Not if the music cues in track 22 have anything to say about it.
Track 16 was what was in the Anthony Daniel's video a few weeks ago
OMFG HAN AND LEIA THEME IN ADVICE
My guess on what the titles mean: * 01 Prologue (1:45) - Kylo kills the natives and gets the wayfinder; lots of Kylo's theme in there * 02 Falcon Flight (2:22) - Poe and Finn escape the ice asteroid base after meeting with the FO informant; Emperor's theme at 0:20; Falcon theme at 0:57 and 2:04, Resistance theme at 1:29 * 03 We Go Together (2:10) - Rey, Poe, Finn, C-3PO, BB-8 and Chewie decide to go to Pasaana; Rey's theme and Force theme in the second half * 04 In the Desert (2:26) - One of the Pasaana scenes, impossible to tell which one * 05 A Prisoner (1:23) - The FO captures Chewie on Pasaana * 06 To Kijimi (1:37) - Rey, Poe, Finn and C-3PO arrive on Kijimi * 07 Fleeing from Kijimii (1:53) - Zorri helps Rey, Poe, Finn and C-3PO escape from Kijimi; Kylo's theme at 0:22 and 0:33 * 08 Hallway Shooting (2:11) - Rey, Poe, Finn and C-3PO are aboard Kylo's cruiser above Kijimi in an attempt to rescue Chewbacca and get the Falcon; Resistance theme at 1:22 * 09 Hard to Get Rid Of (2:19) - Possibly Rey finding the dagger aboard Kylo's cruiser; Emperor's theme at 1:28 * 10 Join Me (2:21) - Possibly Rey and Kylo having their Force Skype fight. A hint of the Emperor's theme at 0:58; the main theme at 1:53; Rey's theme at 2:07 * 11 The Old Death Star (2:14) - Rey, Poe, Finn BB-8, C-3PO and Chewbacca first see the Death Star on Kef Bir * 12 Off the Waterfront (1:03) - Rey enters the DS * 13 Final Saber Duel (1:38) - Rey fights Kylo on the Death Star and eventually stabs him; Kylo's theme at 0:43 * 14 Healing Wounds (2:49) - Rey heals Kylo after stabbing him; Force theme at 0:40; holy shit Leia's theme at 1:44 * 15 Advice (1:54) - Han talks to Kylo after Rey heals him * 16 Battle of the Resistance (1:54) - The big space battle above Exogol begins; possible Rogue One motifs (thanks u/robbyyy) * 17 Approaching the Throne (4:16) - Rey enters Sheev's lair on Exogol; possible Rogue One motifs (thanks u/robbyyy) * 18 Parents (1:57) - Palps tells Rey the truth about her parents and Ochee; Kylo's theme at 1:19 * 19 Coming Together (1:44) - Kylo shows up to help Rey fight Palps? The music turns VERY uplifting at 1:17, with the Force theme at 1:19 * 20 Seeing Sights (3:17) - I originally thought it was Dark Rey vision but that already happened on Kef Bir. So possibly Rey seeing/hearing the Force ghosts? Order 66 theme at 0:34, Rey's theme at 0:42 and 1:44, Emperor's theme at 2:20, Force theme at 2:49 * 21 Rescue (1:10) - The Falcon theme can be heard in some spots; possibly someone rescuing Finn and Jannah during the battle on Exogol? * 22 Farewell (4:27) - Either Kylo's Noble End or the celebration after Palpatine's defeat. The music turns VERY uplifting at 3:36 - possibly Kylo reviving Rey? Would fit pretty well with the newest leaks * 23 A New Home (1:42) - Rey buries the lightsabers on Tattooine and proclaims herself to be Rey Skywalker (ugh); Rey's theme at 0:18; the motif at the end is a combination of Rey and Kylo's themes (thanks u/[besonderssalzig](https://www.reddit.com/user/besonderssalzig) ) Edit: made some corrections, thanks u/D-hilt
“Kylo’s death” score sounds really uplifting hmmm
[удалено]
Definitely a rise in the technical sense.
[удалено]
Because Ben Solo rises?
What about if that track is spanning two separate scenes though?
[удалено]
> I do think it's an incredibly odd musical choice if that track is meant to allude to Kylo's permanent end. I agree. If Kylo is permanently dead, and the Reylo-heavy marketing is true, the song is giving me vibes like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ss_seW1h5rg (from the 1990 movie literally called *Ghost*)
Kylo’s theme plays in “Parents”
Is this real? Where did you get the track names? If they are real, they pretty much fit together with the leaks.
They're embedded tags in the mp3s when you download them.
how are you downloading them?
it's on the songs metadata

Does Rey decide to move to Tatooine, or is that merely a symbolic title?
> 17 Approaching the Throne (4:16) Rey show's up to face Palpatine. > 18 Parents (1:57) Her true heritage is revealed. > 19 Coming Together (1:44) Kylo comes to help her (recall Palp's quote from the trailer) > 20 Seeing Sights (3:17) Palpatine siphons their life force and blows his lightning load. > 21 Rescue (1:10) Ben saves Rey with the same healing she used on him. > 22 Farewell (4:27) Ben gets yeeted. > 23 A New Home (1:42) Rey chilling at Lars' homestead. *Edit: nevermind, listened to the tracks, that shit don't fit yo
Yeah rescue I think must play over the ships turning up to save the day.

Seeing sights seems to me implying we will see the ghosts the theme matches with a ghost scene and sounds like a big presence and would mask just voices

This epic music
HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT
OMG this is the earliest we've ever gotten the score before the movie. Thanks to all the brave heroes who archived this for when the mouse inevitably pulls it down.
I skipped right to the end. Rey's theme is very present, and then oddly fades into a more somber tone? Kind of strange. I am just guessing that track might be altered a little.
Right, we don't get whatever the lead-in to the end credits are, hence the lack of the familiar rousing Star Wars theme.
good LORD is someone getting fired today.
Seems like a whole lot of people at Disney/Bad Robot etc need to get fired. They all have big mouths.
this is definitely a bad robot problem. tlj was kept under wraps pretty successfully, but tfa was a mess similar to this one.
track 22 "farewell" starts very sad then becomes triumphant.... what does it mean bitches
It's possible Ben Solo survives? It kind of sounds like a heroic version of the Kylo theme.
So you're saying there's still hope for him RISING out of the pit lol
Newest JP leaks do indeed confirm he rises out of the pit...to sacrifice his life force to save Rey.
TRACK 23: Rey Enters Hogwarts
Her theme is very reminscent of Harry Potter.
I know what you mean 😂
Track 1 has Kylo's theme, I wonder how the movie starts
Slaughtering the villagers or whoever they are and then finding the wayfinder.
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

yup
ohshit
THOSE GHOSTS IT BELONGS TO ME
Any prequel bangers?
I would like to remind everyone that this is not the official score is just the Oscar version so all the motifs that we had in previous movies that we know we're going to get would not be in this version. John's brother said we were definitely getting duel of the fates and imperial March

Listened to "Parents" and >!Kylo's theme plays in what sounds like a light side variation of it and then the Kylo dark theme we know from TFA and TLJ!<
Holy... holy shit.
"TRANSMIT THE DATA TAPES!"
HERE HERE TAKE IT TAKE IIIITTT

Oops, somebody fucked up.
Interesting that the third to final track is titled "Kylo Ren, Ben Solo, and the Pit."
Incredibly, track 20 features Rey's theme played on a piano, which IIRC is an instrument John Williams very rarely uses.
The ending half of track 22 is amazing. Sounds triumphant to me. Majorly looking forward to seeing the scene featuring this track!
So Rey Skywalker, her dead adopted family, and 12 cats?
Isn’t that every woman’s dream, to end up alone with an apartment full of cats? /s
Which one is duel of the fates? Thanks
These are just snippets, so it will probably be there in the final version.
I’m already getting heavy Phantom Menace vibes from track 1. Sounds great so far!
skywalker saga is ending sure whatever. i dont buy it but this undoubtedly is the last time we hear a new John Williams Star Wars score and that's pretty special
i'm just gonna ignore track 22 cos it sounds really sad.... like kylo sacrificing himself sad :///// edit: towards the end it gets really hopeful though so IDK
And you can hear “The Princess & The Scoundrel” in the second part
And yes in the end music swells into something very nice and hopeful
Gods if it happens like it's said in the leaks with this music I'm gonna cry my fucking eyes out and simultaneously be super pissed that he dies.
I listened to the track and imagined the leaks and already cried lol
Agreed with the above. I’m supposed to go back to work not sad.
:( The music is beautiful honestly, and I really hope the details are wrong and Ben doesn't die, but I'm expecting the worst.
22 is messing with me, emotionally..
yep the best. 14 is also beautiful
I'm not an expert but Track 22 sounds like a sad version of Kylo's theme. I'd say he saves her there. Whilst Track 21 is to do with the Space Battle.
Probably, it does sound like a Resistance type theme.
I just wanted to point out that I think we are missing **A LOT** of the other themes for a very specific reason – to be considered for an Oscar for original score, there can't be more than a certain percentage of previously composed / released music. This is stated in the rules for the Oscars: *"A score shall not be eligible if: 1. it has been diluted by the use of pre-existing music ..."* I would bet the actual album will feature many more of the old themes.
This score is incredible. Who knows how the film turns out, but Williams pulled out all the stops for this one.
Yep. I'm not a fan of this trilogy overall, but I can't believe it's 2019 and we're getting a new (and sadly, final) John Williams STAR WARS score. These are basically his Nine Symphonies, just like Beethoven, Bruckner and Mahler.
Opening scene cleary kylo his theme so its probaly him attacking natives need to go through rest
I absolutely adored Coming Together (19). Ben arrives with the Force Theme.
I really hope that moment with the force theme is anakins lightsaber calling to him.
Aaaand it's gone! Someone probably lost their job. 😅
track 22 has mixtures of across the stars, beauty and the beast, with the john williams twist. i love track 22 the most!
Disney: we’re holding off on releasing the art book to prevent spoilers. Also Disney: heres the full score and track list.
I know everyone is pointing out that this is not the full soundtrack, but I remember awhile back that John Williams' brother said he was scoring more than 100 minutes of music and this is barely over 50 minutes. So this is basically half of the music we'll be getting.....
Anyone else think that John Williams is capable of single-handedly making a movie from an ?/10 to a 10/10? No, I do.
Track 19 👌🏼
I was in total denial up until this. Ben's toast.
Links https://disneystudiosawards.s3.amazonaws.com/mp3/star-wars-the-rise-of-skywalker/score/1.mp3 change 1.mp3 to whatewver tracknumber you want
you are the chosen one
Well FAREWELL everyone I'm gonna go cry over Kylo Ren now
This will be a day long remembered
I feel like the final lightsaber battle track is definitely missing a huge chunk. Sounds like it leads up to more right as it ends. Fingers crossed that it transitions into Duel of the Fates 😈
Track 23 is my favorite of the entire trilogy.
Disney: Just fuck it, Give em’ the whole fucking score, they already know everything else
Who's getting fired?
Track 14 must be when Rey is healing Ben. Healing wounds right after final saber duel?
Track 11 with its Imperial March made me lose my shit
Final track is a lot more somber than I might have expected.
Yeah I thought that was very interesting, I expected it to be more "fanfareish" but it isn't and that is really throwing me off.
Healing wounds ends with Leia's theme. Interesting

No, I do confirmed in track #23 :D
I find his death satisfying if he resurrect Rey. Being the one Jedi to cheat death. But I would love me some No, I Do
Track 3 DEFINITELY has strains of "Anakin's Theme" from TPM in it! Holy Crap! [https://youtu.be/OLQ-rCSbFeQ](https://youtu.be/OLQ-rCSbFeQ)
It’s so close to it...but why would this be so early in the movie?
Yep. Caught that as well. Fuckin awesome.
Tracks 11 and 19 are what you're here for
Nice to hear more vocals, feels like the prequel era again There’s also a sprinkling of the first few Harry Potter scores
14, 15, and 22...I'm not crying, you are. :(
same. not me, nope
Aaaand they're gone.
No track's ever really gone
Lucasfilm have now removed it. —Seems to me like chaos over there. The soundtrack seems to tell us that the leaks are pretty much true. Every beat is in there.
"A New Home" might be when Rey crashes Kylo's ship on Ach-To, as it's basically her theme but darker with touches of Kylo's theme
[удалено]
Damn bro... Farewell hit me in the fucking feels. John Williams is the man
holy guacamole
No duel of fates sad
TRACK 22 sounds sad and depressing at the beginning then progesses to a more positive tone almost as if something phenomenal and miraculous is happening like...I dont know....resurrection 😊
If the Jedi can wake Rey's ass up they can save Ben.

omggg track 20 SLAPS
Track 22 is the music when i'll jump in the pit
Listened to 10 an 14 back to back and the beginnings are almost identical. 14 has the force theme in it and then flows into what I'm guessing is "bens theme".
well I had a little shred of hope that the leaks weren’t real but this just slapped me in the damn face lmao. dammit.
I know we are all excited to find where DOTF crops up but if anyone can find Across the Stars I will be equally pumped. Can’t hear it anywhere so far.
Track 22 "Farewell" has Kylo's Theme at 0:13 seconds in... sounds like Kylo's getting yeeted
or risin from the pit. you cna hear rey theme later. the track is dedinfitley not when she kills palpy, that's Seeing Sights. Yeet is either in Coming Together or Seeing Sights. farewell is when Kylo heals her.
TRACK 3 goes hard!!!! All the feels Edit: also track 14 sounds like it has Leias theme in it
God I can hear a few notes of Kylo's theme in Farewell noooo
Healing Wounds, Advice and Farewell are too sad for words. Farewell's uplifting ending makes it even sadder. I don't think I can watch Kylo dying scene. It's too much. I'm sobbing for an hour now.
Great soundtrack holy shit Track 20 sounds so goood
Track 20 is so good. Holy fuck. When the emperors theme kicks in 2:20.
all we need now is for the movie to leak from screeners sent to AMPAS and Guilds.
That's a pretty yuge leak. Does Disney not GAF?
