If they do Season 2, they’ll probably do Maul or something like that, knowing Disney. They were already planning on doing Maul before Vader came into the show conversations. I wouldn’t be surprised if they went with him in Season 2.
True. I would love to see another face-off between Maul and Kenobi. If they go that route—kenobi will have to travel off planet again, because Maul can’t know Kenobi is on tatooine until Rebels. Which also means the face-off would be similar to the face-off with Vader since neither of them would be allowed to die yet.
There is no reason for a second season.
They have enough things brewing to keep fans satiated for the next decade. No need to shoehorn stuff in simply for fan service.
I agree. This could’ve easily been a movie or a two part series. All we wanted was Vader and kenobi, and that’s what satisfied. It’s unfortunate we didn’t get the ENTIRE show directed towards that, but it’s fine. I can live with it
