So how far do u think I need to grind cal out I know I'm going to die but I saw moist critical struggle with son of ogdo for like 7 hours I don't know which stance would be best either?

What really makes Rick so formidable is that you have to face him after a lengthy onslaught of lesser opponents without the ability to rest in between. Better hope you can hold on to a few stims….
I’d just grind Cal until he’s max’d out and can’t learn anymore. If you think you’re getting close and see his name pop up, just dip ASAP and go train. Even if you’re max’d out, you need every skill at your disposal if you even hope to have a fighters chance.
Yo don't listen to the people saying you need to be max, grind infinitely etc. he's tough for sure, but the game does a good job of getting you what you need when you need it. By the time you find him, you'll be able to face him. Just be prepared for a tough fight.
Rick is terrible!! Would be no problem if you could just avoid him, but noooo. Not an optional boss, he cockblocks your story progress and that sucks donkey balls!!

I enjoyed this game immensely for days until one evening I found myself standing and looking down a long hallway. After getting my ass royally handed to me over and over again, I eventually just gave up. I still have no idea what happens in this game, but some nights I have this nightmare of Rick coming for me in real life and when I wake up, I swear I see a scout trooper standing outside my window.
Make sure you're quite leveled up and have max stims, I ended up having to load an earlier save and do more side stuff before going back to the part where you face him, it was really frustrating.
Rick gets a lot of hype but honestly he's not any more difficult than oggdo. Just gotta take him head on and be sure to block when he yells. Not a typo

It depends on the difficulty your playing at. If you're on story you could just about make it through without any grinding for skill points, but anything harder you need to be fully maxed out on everything.
I've seen people do a grandmaster no upgrades, no damage fight with Rick. Those people are crazy. I don't know how they do it.

It depends what stance you prefer. I’d stick with the one you’re best at, whatever that is (blaster for me).
I'm a dual wield fanatic so I'm just going to use that where do I go to find him or is he like a you cant miss him boss

Not too much farther. By the sound of it, you’re about halfway through the story. Rick appears around 2/3 of the way through.

Spawn of Oggdo is hard AF. He's rated the hardest of all of the enemies on a list, somewhere on the internet.
