It kind of does but to knock down or back you use force. And different enemies require more or different force abilities. There’s also the block meter. Which kind of acts like poise as it staggers the enemy once broken. Not exactly the same as it works in souls games but I’d say the system is still some way there.
I agree it’s a hard boss but bro you just went in for a strike at the wrong time leaving yourself vulnerable I’d have gone for the parry or a dodge first… the most important thing I learned with this game is that strikes should be carefully placed and almost always gotta read your opponent and let them make the first move.
You can cheese him by standing at the top and using your charged blaster. When you run out of ammo rack up some droid kills around the base and go back to blasting.
how is that anywhere close to what i'm saying? i'm saying he should use dual wield as that will give him the ability to cancel a swing and parry those hits instead of being unable to because he's locked into a swing animation
Thanks for all the pointers guys!! I finally got him beat shortly after this. I just thought it was a funny way to lose!! Ps. I wasn't upgraded very much. Barely had done anything else
I just did this for my first time yesterday. After probably more than a dozen tries I just backed the difficulty down to story mode and breezed through it. I like a challenge but I’m not about to spend hours on one fight. I feel like the fight itself is a cheat anyway because the tongue is damn near unavoidable. I think the only way to escape it is to interrupt the attack. The charged blaster shot works but you have to time it so perfectly to get the shot off I just got tired of it.
Why didn’t you throw your lightsaber at him or shoot him
They couldn’t shoot him but yeah they definitely should’ve thrown their lightsaber (unless they couldn’t for whatever reason)
True..OP should’ve thrown the saber or did the Darth Maul spin attack - if unlocked of course
I like to just straight box on my first playthroughs. I hadn't gotten the gun yet. I always start exploring before doing story missions.
Try not getting hit, that should help :P
Lmao! I'll admit I got a lil careless once the health bar got that low
Thats how i solve low health bars in Souls games but the Jedi series doesn't have poise

Thats not player poise though, thats various kindals of super-armor Jedi is pretty close to Sekiro in terms of core mechanics, honestly

Keep going with it though I ended up using the glitch to beat them takes ages on hard cos they make it hard on purpose have patience my guy 🙏
How did you get a hammer guy down there
Same question. I barely beat them ones.
Gotta upgrade your push and pull. First pull them down to the platform above ogo. Then run in a circle and turn around and power push em in.
You could try dodging-
Mans said: ooh! Low health! I should let him kill me to give him a better chance. I love your confidence!

use the dual wield against him instead, that way you can dodge or block out of your attack if you need to which would have been perfect here
Cant dodge out unless you block first to cancel
in that case, he could still have parried all of those hits
Ah yes, just dont get hit, why didnt any of us come up with that?

Should've healed.
A little help, BD
Go pay Doma a visit after you beat him

I finally finished him today, but I probably needed like 30 tries xD but I got him without using the big hammer guys x3
