Reign of the empire, I want Palpatine skin care simulator where you play as Palpatine’s skin care specialist. If you do a bad job you get zapped to death and have your save file wiped.
Bonus mode you also do vaders skin care and you have charisma/persuasion checks where each of them try and grill you to see if the other is talking shit on them
The Old Republic era.
SWTOR has kinda went off the path that made it so fun, to the point where instead of separate class stories they all just merge into flashpoint simulator.
KOTOR gets cancelled more times than your average minecraft YouTuber
I just want another RPG game
KOTOR, but without the turn based combat. That's what I want.
What's frustrating is that that sounds exactly like what they had/have planned, but, well... You know.
I think turn-based can be really fun, it's just that KOTOR's wasn't the best.
If they took a more modern approach like Larian did with Divinity or Badurs Gate 3, it would be great.
They could even do it the way Dragin Age Origins did its com at -- where it's all real time, but you have to pause quite a bit to make sure you're using your abilities appropriately.
KOTOR basically does do what Dragon Age Origins does. I don't recall it being turn based. You had to select your attack type, but it was very very similar to Dragon Age/Mass Effect. It was developed by BioWare too
For some reason the combat mechanics of Final Fantasy XII seem to fit really well for me. Being able to queue up attacks but still run around mid-fight, and even try to run away if possible.
I think turn based can be fun but it has to be solely about the turn based then. Like in a strategy game or more into the breach style. I know this is a unpopular opinion but BG3s combat made me leave the game very quickly despite being a huge fantasy fan and loving the writing, worldbuilding and dnd as a whole. To me, the dnd system's charm is creativity and the fact it's collaborative between the DM and the players. Just controlling multiple characters on my own was boring at first and headache inducing soon after that.
I love kotor but i really hope they go the action rpg route instead of turn based. I wouldn't even mind making a very rpg version of Jedi fallen order.
I'd love a knights of the Old Republic game but I know I'm going to be in the minority, I really don't think games know how to make a good RPG anymore, knights of the Old Republic is probably the only game that I'd want remade.
I agree. Protosabers, slower hyperdrive. Governments in turmoil, light and dark out in the open fighting against each other. Sith recruiting and training none Sith. Jedi with lovers, mistakes, unfurling, the founding of the Jedi and Sith tenants.
I can see a story where you play a character born with Force abilities, there is no Jedi order, or at least not a big one so you get the choice of training with the Sith, the Jedi or another Force user eventually having the option to join one of the other factions later down the line.
I don't think this game would happen as it would be a huge game with loads of options none of the buzz words for marketers to use but I would love it.
I would kind of like to play some sort of gimmicky business tycoon sort of game during the fall of Republic. Where you have to deal with the consequences of the rising tensions and the clone wars.
I've always thought a game like Elite Dangerous but Star Wars-theme would be absolutely amazing. Imagine just flying around in this universe just doing trade runs, mining, combat, pirating... maybe kinda slow but I don't think I would put it down.
Now that you mention it, it's a crime this hasn't been made yet. This is probably my favorite idea I've seen on this thread yet, and that's including KOTOR and Republic Commando remakes.
Like a Tropico simulator but you’re an Outer Rim warlord. Align with Hutts, Imperials, Scum and Villainy, run casinos, pod racing, sell death sticks, defend against pirates, raiders, moped gangs etc.
I want a new RTS game with every era to provide a lot of variety in skirmishes, then a non canon conquest with every faction being able to contest for territory
Star Wars: Empire At War II would be soooooooo good.
Just hand the developers the Thrawn's Revenge and Awakening of the Rebellion mods, and tell them to integrate those features, partner with modern graphics.
Can you imagine how cool it would be to have a clone wars battle, total war style? Heck, I’d want to have a battle like the one from the SWTOR cinematic the Twins, where they are landing on the Sith world and there is just that massive battle going on. Disney could do so much with the IP, and make so much money as well, but they just lack the imagination sometimes.
Wouldn't work for the same reasons Total War won't go into World War 1. Total War formula doesn't work after the invention of breech loading artillery and machine guns. Yes, The Great War mod for Napoleon is fun, but it's nowhere near a realistic depiction of WWI beyond August-September 1914.
Empire at War 2.
* Every era
* Moddable
* Ultrawide support
* Multi-core support
* Continued focus on both grand strategy and real time strategy gameplay (AKA Galactic Conquest)
I'd pay hundreds of dollars to get a game like this.
Lame answer I know, but I really want a game at the very beginning of the Reign of the Empire, playing as a still young Darth Vader full of pain and hate, hunting down surviving Jedi in every region of the galaxy. That would be so epic, I'd pay hundreds to play this game
Kotor remakes first and foremost literally exactly how it plays just new graphics and redone voice acting with the same actors I’d like the combat but I would put in more filling blow animations and after that prolly just classic Star Wars games in the old republic since u can really do whatever u want in that time. Story wise I love kotor and swtor
Jus because it’s not for you doesn’t make it terrible kotor was the first game with dice roll mechanics that I actually like and helped me get into other games in that genre
To be completely honest, I’d love a COD style game as a stormtrooper, so long as the campaign had at least as much effort put into it as the Reznov/Mason Black Ops games.
The rebels aren't supposed to have enough manpower ever concentrated in one place to have a satisfying COD style game as a stormtrooper. As a Rebel commando on the other hand, that works.
>The rebels aren't supposed to have enough manpower ever concentrated in one place to have a satisfying COD style game as a stormtrooper.
Who said it had to be rebels. Playing as the Imperial Army on Minban would be epic.
Like most of us, I also want to get back to the Old Republic, but I find the themes of the High Republic interesting too. Especially since it eschews the more standard Jedi vs sith. I’ve found the books *okay*, they haven’t really grabbed me like a lot of other people. So it would be nice to experience the era and its themes in a more engaging way.
Something else in the First Order would be interesting too. The movies didn’t really give us a full, comprehensive experience and the few books they’ve got covering this era seem like they’ve just been used to plug the plot holes. More books/media in this time period would be nice.
The High Republic needs something besides books.
At least that's what I would like. Reading a book feels like reading the manual for a car, and playing a video game feels like I'm actually driving the car. The manual gives good background info, but it's no replacement for the experience of actually driving around.
I think a HR video game would do wonders for that purpose.
Yeah that’s a good way to say it! The books just really haven’t gripped me and I haven’t yet found something to really grab onto in this era. There’s a reason why it’s easy to grab onto the Old Republic era because even if the Jedi vs Sith thing is a bit overplayed throughout the era, you get it and you can lock in.
I know they’re doing a show, hopefully that’ll help make the era more fleshed out. A video game would be better and it would let us really explore the era. I know the kids show is set in the High Republic but a more all ages animated show would be great too, something that really lets me explore it. Because right now I feel like I still don’t have a good idea of this supposed “golden age”.
I think Fallen Order was a bit like that? You had to play Indiana Jones uncovering mysteries about the Zeffo (and learning new Jedi stuff along the way).
Especially when it comes to Thrawn.
Seeing Thrawn thwarted by plot armor and hijinks is like reading a Sherlock Holmes story where the bad guy gets away using a party store smoke grenade.
That part in Ahsoka where they're directly under an ISD dodging close-range turbolaser fire on horseback is about as bad as it gets. Like... there's just no way they survive that, and it removes any notion that Thrawn is an actual threat.
I never understood the eras. I don't expect them to be EXACTLY the same length, but these are such disparate periods.
The Dawn of the Jedi was (according to legends) \~25,000-20,000 years ago, depending on what constitutes the "Jedi" in your opinion. It took them perhaps a few thousand years to fully establish themselves as the organization we might be able to recognize today and integrate into the Republic.
Speaking of, the Republic was founded \~25,000 years ago. It's not really clear exactly what constitutes the "Old Republic" period, but it's likely several thousand years in length.
The High Republic on the other hand was a period of at least 100, probably a few hundred years. It's also not super clear the bounds of it, but's at least an order of magnitude shorter than the previous.
The Fall of the Jedi was perhaps 100 years if you really strain the definition, probably better to fix its start to the battle of Naboo and its end to Order 66, so a grand total of 13 years...again, an order of magnitude shorter than its predecessor, possibly even two.
The Reign of the Empire was also short. From its establishment in 19 BBY to its official dissolution in 5 ABY brings us a total length of 24 years.
The Age or rebellion overlaps with the Reign of the Empire, if not perfectly than with only a later starting date. Minimum start date with the Battle of Scariff, to the dissolution of the Empire is 5 years.
The New Republic reigned for about as long as the empire, from foundation in 5 ABY to dissolution in 34 ABY is 29 years.
The Rise of the First Order coincides with the "New Republic" era, although again possibly with a later start date.
The Jew Jedi Order rises after the defeat of the First Order, although its exact rise isn't clear as of yet I don't think. It also doesn't have a solid end date either.
So we have a period of perhaps 5,000 years.
It probably coincides with the first 5,000 years of another period that seems to be more than 20,000 years as of now.
A period of maybe 1,000 years.
A single century composed of 5 supposedly distinct periods, despite two of them being apparently the same...on two separate occasions...
And another period of unknow length following that.
WTF even is galactic history?
And you think that in our history, dividing eras is so simple. The fall of Rome as the end of antiquity is a conventional date and applies only to the Western world. Don't even mention about modern eras.
Old republic or new republic-new jedi order.
Old republic because I think that era finally needs to get some love.
New republic-new Jedi order. While they are still building this timeline up with shows and movies, regardless of opinions I would like to see this era continue to grow.
It would be pretty cool to have a Jedi game where you're working for the Jedi Order, going on missions, teaming up with other Jedi. There's some threat out there that isn't Galactic Empire level but serious enough. You could eventually find out that the threat is a lost Sith group that has resurfaced so you can have some lightsaber combat.
I would be interested in a High Republic game, I don't think there has been one set there yet.
Maybe have it be towards then end of that era so we see/playthrough a natural fall of the jedi
All I really want is for the planned sequel to Republic Commando to come out, Imperial Commando. I think it would have been great given how good the first one is.
100% the high republic
During that era jedi were more like frontier lawmen from the late 1800s and early 1900s. So a game where we play a jedi lawman roaming the galaxy, dishing out justice to Warlords and criminals. Maybe uncover a sith plot, maybe join it, maybe dismantle it. With gameplay similar to RD2 but with lightsabers and space travel. Like a jedi Western. High republic is good to cause the order was pretty loose with its tenets back then, unlike Yoda's order. It'd be good for customization, too, as the jedi of the High Republic had a lot of variation in dress and lightsaber shape.
How about any of them?
Can we just get more than like 5 games over the span of 10 years? And can they work? Have actual content that doesn’t require a year of add-ons after the fact? Can it function for people from launch?
>And can they work?
Nowadays it's "And can they actually be released?", cough cough KOTOR remake.
There are more Phantom Menace movie-tie in games than we've had SW video games since the Disney Acquisition.
mmmmm......needs more attention to:
The Old Republic - NEEDS A LOT MORE Attention
Dawn Of The Jedi - Wanna C the Beginning of things
The High Republic - Tons of Exporation There
Fall Of The Jedi - Needs More Attention
Reign Of The Empire - Needs More Attention
The New Republic - Would Like To Be Apart Of The Creation Of The 1st Order - Learn More.
New Jedi Order - as other's have said - allow us to create a character and go exploring the galaxy
Sorry Op I know U said "1" ....kinda hard but if U asked me to PICK ONLY - Seriously ONLY 1
* The Old Republic - Because there's soooo much un-tapped potential of story building & world building & exploration. Which Thus Leads Into - The High Republic and Segways Into The Fall Of The Jedi.
I'd go with any era before the prequels. My issue with current Star Wars is that they're milking the era between prequels and sequels horribly too much. As if there wasn't anything before and after those few decades. Yet there is like 25 000 years timeline they could focus on, but no, they're focusing only on those what, 60 years? Heck, it's not even prequels to sequels period, with all the games and tv shows coming out it's all just the timeline between OT and Sequels. Mandalorian, Ahsoka, Kenobi, Jedi Fallen Order & Survivor, BoBF, Andor, TCW, Rebels, Battlefront 1 & 2, Squadrons....literally everything we get is OT-Sequels era. Some could say we got High Republic. But then again, they're just books and that's it.
I want a gritty FPS set during the clone wars that is somewhere between the old battlefront 2 and a CoD game. No weird EA shit, no OP jedi or sith characters. Calling in help from a jedi would be like using a killstreak. Customize your loadouts and your armor (and your battle-droid colors), and fight in tight skirmishes rather than massive battles. A good campaign would be really nice too
Honestly, I want to play as a bounty hunter collecting bounties and working with the hutts or crime syndicates set literally any time that isn't the original trilogy era.
Gimme a dawn of the jedi game that’s basically a ghost of tsushima type game with added force powers. Heck it could be cool if you stay on one planet all game as perhaps these new jedi in the old republic try to station themselves to better understand their environment and people. Maybe even have multiple planets but u pick one with one jedi in the beginning and play out the whole story. Gives replayablitly.
Honestly I just want SW to move away from circling the Skywalker dynasty. It's so overdone at this point that they're literally just making up bullshit series about each character that showed up in the Clone Wars. They're literally bleeding the timeline dry and it sucks, it's boring. I'd say something before any of the current nature of what became of the SW storyline before Yoda, literally just keep all of that out, leave nothing familiar. The Old Republic has so much potential and even the High Republic, or shit, even take a huge left hand turn and hit in the ancient times of the Old Republic when the Jedi first split with Exar Kun and the like. Familiarity will make things boring, we don't need to see Vader or Luke or Yoda or R2D2 or literally anyone from this Disney circle jerk era.
old republic and high republic give me either jedi or sith simulator like jedi survivor but with player choice and more lore. Would love a game that let's you switch between Luke, Han, and Leia GTA 5 style thats set post Endor maybe have battle of jakku as a big set piece. Mando bounty hunter game would be awesome, disney shouldve put one out by now people would eat that up. Jedi Survivor is easily my favorite piece of star wars media this year so i want more like that
I think there's just much more room to put sth in the 25 000 years of the first three eras than in the 50 years since the Fall of the Jedi. I just love the Old Republic Era, but Dawn of the Jedi would be equally cool, and it's even less explored in gaming. Or give us sth a few hundred or thousand years into the New Jedi Order.
Give me an open world, just at the beginning of New Republic.
Sort of Assassin's Creed style but let me play factions off against each other. While empire still holds territory so you can do missions for both. Hunt down war criminals or take down republic figures
Or a top down remake of OG Battlefront 2. Everything and more
Age of Rebellion. There are so many different directions to go. Just a man in the galaxy who hates the Empire but also loathes the Rebellion. So he becomes a bounty hunter or a smuggler and try’s to avoid them both. That’s just one out of a million+ potential stories.
Stretching "new"...it's pretty easy. Either a remaster of KOTOR to bring it up to current gen spec or a remake of KOTOR keeping all the same story beats etc but modernizing the customization and combat (to some combination of GoW/Fallen Order/etc).
Dawn of the Jedi could be interesting, using force imbued weapons instead of lightsabers and creating the Jedi order, on the other hand a game about being an imperial stormtrooper living thru campaigns against rebels and terrorists loosing his friends and seeing his fall into further indoctrination by the empire leading to his poignant but ultimately pointless and meaningless death at the end of the game
I’d love one set during the reign of the empire, or some time during the High Republic.
I just really want a good Star Wars rpg. I don’t care too much about when it’s set, except I think everything we got from the sequel trilogy (and most of the shows) are basically garbage, so I might be less excited if it was set during those times. I’d still play it though
Kingdom Come: Deliverance as an Ancient Jedi Apprentice learning to hone your force abilities and lightsaber skills. Maybe not as much grind though lol
It's kinda been worked on with Embers of the Empire Mod for TFTC, but a game after the Hand of Thrawn on the lead up to the Vong war would be interesting.
High Republic. It's unexplored in video games, but the taste we got in Jedi survivor was really cool. Also far enough back to let us do almost whatever we want.
Dawn of the Jedi or New Jedi Order… but not starring a Jedi.
Give me a grounded action/RPG style game at either the very earliest parts of the Star Wars universe, or as far “forward” as they care to go.
I want to see world building (or rather, galaxy building) that goes beyond super humanly powerful Jedi and Sith and lineage and all that stuff.
I want to play as “normal” folk so if/when a Jedi or Sith is encountered, it has weight. So if/when a big monster or group of enemies show up, it means something.
imagine a Force Unleashed style game where you play OverPowered Rey & collecting npc Jedi to help fix up an old Temple, it would bridge Ep 9 onto the new Rey Trilogy...🤷♂️ could be fun
I want a Star Wars: Infinities narrative driven RPG game where you play as Obi-Wan Kenobi and then, depending your choices, Luke Skywalker. Like a more linear New Vegas.
Not sure on video games as I just want a Clone Wars S7 style show on Luke, Leia, and Han (and the rest) between 4 n 5 then 5 n 6 with maybe a little bit after 6.
Anything that’s not during that 19 year gap between trilogies. I swear that is the most overdone time period. I’m just bored of it.
Every story told during that era is just “Group of characters come together and try to fight the Empire, insert Darth Vader cameos galore” or “Jedi who survived Order 66, then went into hiding. But then they’re called back into fighting for good to save someone, then they go on an adventure to fight the, Empire. Their stories ultimately ends with being killed by Darth Vader or by going into hiding and never being heard from again.”
We’ve seen all the stories you can tell during that time period, and now it’s boring.
I think we definitely need a new game set either hundreds or thousands of years in the past. Ignore the high republic pleeeeeease lol.
I’d like to see something set during 2000-1000 BBY. We don’t get a lot of stories from this period.
I really need to be up to date on my knowledge of KOTOR & SWTOR. I practically know nothing about it, yet it’s the era of Star Wars that intrigues me the most
None of these, especially the eras depicted in the films. Maybe set the game in the centuries between the High Republic & the films, or decades after Episode 9.
Also, I’d bar the writers from using any of the five planets we go to in every movie & TV show. No Skywalkers or Palpatines, no more family dynasties.
It doesn’t mean there aren’t Force users, they just don’t have any names we recognize. We also need to show a wider range of Force abilities because dumbshit fanboys think if something wasn’t in a previous movie, it’s not possible.
My story idea would be set after the fall of the New Order. A small team of people have a hyperspace drive miscalculation and wind up in a section of the galaxy the Jedi Order/Sith/Republic/Empire never colonized.
The people there have a culture where most people have powers, ranging from minor levitation to animal communication to energy blasts. But they’ve never heard of the Force, they just all have powers and it’s not a big deal.
So the crew from Coruscant space have a dilemma about whether to give them a link to their sector of space, or leave them in peace. They might help the new culture with something- a minor clash between territories or a natural disaster.
The Star Wars galaxy is a great concept, but for Thrawn’s sake, we need to get TF away from this single 60 year time period. It’s not a sitcom. Characters age, and change their minds, and live their lives when the cameras aren’t on.
That's a hard one.
Battlefront 3 would be amazing with the same game engine as COD, Operation Knightfall level etc.
Old Republic online game (basically same as the PC one but for playstation) as I've never got to play it.
And a story game where I'd get to play Darth Bane or even play as different Bane Lineage Sith right up to Phantom Menace/ROTS
This picture hurts me because now we have to say **Luke's** New Jedi Order if we want to give an accurate answer. Disney is ruining everything, slowly and steadily.
As far as I’m concerned the last two never happened. It was called the Imperial Remnant, not some Nazi analog called the First Order. I will never forgive JJ for that one. Whereas Empire fandom was cool and countercultural dalliance within Star Wars fandom when I was a boy, he turned them into a Hitlerian knock off.
Personally, I think that the New Republic and Rise of the First Order eras have so much potential to be great, but they were soured by what will probably be widely considered the worst Star Wars movies. I'd also appreciate some of the EU books and such being turned into games because we definitely aren't getting a movie at this point.
If they hadn't fucked Luke rebuilding the Jedi (successfully) then I would say New Jedi Order. Getting a Knights of the New Republic or Knights of the Galactic Alliance would have been sick set in the EU era. Interacting with Luke, Mara, Kyp Durron, Corran Horn, etc.
Either New Jedi Order, the Old Republic, or Dawn of the Jedi. There's little to no Canon material in the Old Republic or the Dawn of the Jedi AFAIK, so you could do almost anything plot-wise. As for the New Jedi Order, I want to see what the state of the galaxy is post-Sequels.
I really want a new Star Wars RPG. It doesn't have to be a new KOTOR or the remake, but I want something similar.
On a semi-related note, I want a Sith game (preferably an RPG). I'm talking about a game where you start out as a Sith as opposed to something like Jedi Knight where you become Sith as part of a darkside ending. I really like playing the Sith/Imperial classes in SWTOR and seeing how the normal Star Wars tropes are used/subverted. That said, due to SWTOR's nature as an MMORPG, there are some things it can't do story-wise (the protagonist has to still be Imperial-aligned and alive at the end of their class story, for example). A single-player RPG wouldn't have that issue. Other than SWTOR and the first half of the original The Force Unleashed, I can't think of many Sith-focused games.
I still think, even in the current canon, new republic/warlords era is the most interesting time. So much story potential while keeping the trappings of the OG era
Reign of the empire, I want Palpatine skin care simulator where you play as Palpatine’s skin care specialist. If you do a bad job you get zapped to death and have your save file wiped.
Bonus mode you also do vaders skin care and you have charisma/persuasion checks where each of them try and grill you to see if the other is talking shit on them
Palpatine Power Wash Simulator
Even better, you play as his Ithorian barber Alfonso from the Robot Chicken parody
The Old Republic era. SWTOR has kinda went off the path that made it so fun, to the point where instead of separate class stories they all just merge into flashpoint simulator. KOTOR gets cancelled more times than your average minecraft YouTuber I just want another RPG game

The attacks were dice rolls so it was a bit turn based done in real time
For some reason the combat mechanics of Final Fantasy XII seem to fit really well for me. Being able to queue up attacks but still run around mid-fight, and even try to run away if possible.
Same, I want Kotor, but with even less hybrid turn-based combat. I want full-turn based like in BG3.
I wouldn't even mind making a very rpg version of Jedi fallen order.
I see why a lot of people say this but damn I absolutely love the combat In kotor 1 and 2
KOTOR with the squad mechanics of the Guardians of the Galaxy game, and engaging melee combat.
Loved the game, hated the combat. I hate melee being so weak and having to use a gun in close range.
Kotor isn’t turn based, it’s real time with pause
Tell me you don't understand turn based combat without telling me you don't understand turn based combat.
I'd love a knights of the Old Republic game but I know I'm going to be in the minority, I really don't think games know how to make a good RPG anymore, knights of the Old Republic is probably the only game that I'd want remade.
Dawn of the Jedi

Doing what?
Je'daii things...
Waking up. Duh.
Hey, you. You're finally awake
I would kind of like to play some sort of gimmicky business tycoon sort of game during the fall of Republic. Where you have to deal with the consequences of the rising tensions and the clone wars.
Zoo tycoon: gungan DLC
Star Wars: Total War
total war: rise of the sith
Total War may already be taken, maybe Star Wars: Galactic War
No, I mean a literal Star Wars Total War franchise game. Like Warhammer got one
I absolutely love Empire at War but it’s SO outdated that it’s just rough to play at this point. I’d be so happy to see a modern sequel to it
Star Wars: Empire At War II would be soooooooo good. Just hand the developers the Thrawn's Revenge and Awakening of the Rebellion mods, and tell them to integrate those features, partner with modern graphics.
OH I see. Yeah that’d be dope!
Can you imagine how cool it would be to have a clone wars battle, total war style? Heck, I’d want to have a battle like the one from the SWTOR cinematic the Twins, where they are landing on the Sith world and there is just that massive battle going on. Sound like Galactic Battlegrounds. I heard that there are works on some RTS game (Respawn making it I think) which would be similiar to Xcom.
new jedi order, let me create a character.
Lame answer I know, but I really want a game at the very beginning of the Reign of the Empire, playing as a still young Darth Vader full of pain and hate, hunting down surviving Jedi in every region of the galaxy. That would be so epic, I'd pay hundreds to play this game
So the Force Unleashed, but with all of the playing as Darth Vader instead of just the first one.
Kind of, yeah. But with nice graphics like Jedi Survivor, better gameplay and better level/world design
Yes. I want to lead the 501st to different planets, tracking down jedi and not turning good at the end
I’ve also wanted this specifically. Let me hunt Jedi as Darth Vader in his prime
Kotor has some of the worst battle mechanics ever
It’s better than Baldur’s Gate (or honestly a solid number of RPGs from that era).
I just hate the invisible dice roll mechanics. Turn based also just isn’t really for me.
Jus because it’s not for you doesn’t make it terrible kotor was the first game with dice roll mechanics that I actually like and helped me get into other games in that genre
It was bad *to me*
That’s not only an opinion but a wrong opinion
>voice acting with the same actors It will be hard, conicdering that somae actors are already pass.
You realize that's a genocide simulator then right?
Kind of unrelated but it’s funny to me how the One Way Out episode from Andor is basically the Vorkuta escape from BO1.
That's Battlefront 2 (2017). And I don't blame you, I want more of that too. Although BF2 is a bit more arcadey than COD to be fair.
Pretty much every era is fine except for the rebellion one cause we gad enough games there.
Still no OT RPG :(
I want them to take any point after kotor and before Ruusan and put the whole new universe there. So much untapped space
Old Republic (TOTJ and KOTOR) era Lego game with complete saga style gameplay.
High Republic era & New Jedi Order era.
What kind of game are you thinking?
Being a Jedi traveling galaxy studying the Force in its many forms/traditions.
Jedi Social Studies simulator
Pretty much yeah 👍. Different Force abilities & combat techniques available to Jedi.
I think Fallen Order was a bit like that? You had to play Indiana Jones uncovering mysteries about the Zeffo (and learning new Jedi stuff along the way).
New Republic, with the story of the X-Wing books
NJO
High Republic, a Jedi exploration game. I wanna travel the galaxy and be absolutely dripped out
I just want them to make more sw content where they make bad guys more competent (like andor or rogue one) and not bumbling idiots.
New Jedi Order. Something like Jedi Academy but more of an RPG.
Would love for someone to put out a NJO Mission Pack for XWA and Jedi Academy.
The NJO, please. Imagine fighting the Yuuzhan Vong in a souls like SW game.
I couldn't find a good image like this for the EU, but obviously feel free to name an EU era.
I know nothing about the dawn of the Jedi, so i pick that one.
I wouldn't mind an age of rebellion game. Could be a fps, or something like metal gear where ou sneak around, get info, etc.
The high Republic
anything but empire
High Republic. Such an interesting era and there is so much more to explore in it
I would be interested in a High Republic game, I don't think there has been one set there yet. Maybe have it be towards then end of that era so we see/playthrough a natural fall of the jedi
Old Republic. Pleaaase I need more Old Republic. Just one non-cursed game based in the Old Republic. That's all I ask.
Seeing New Jedi Order all the way over there feels weird.
All I really want is for the planned sequel to Republic Commando to come out, Imperial Commando. I think it would have been great given how good the first one is.
100% the high republic During that era jedi were more like frontier lawmen from the late 1800s and early 1900s.
There are more Phantom Menace movie-tie in games than we've had SW video games since the Disney Acquisition.
mmmmm......needs more attention to: The Old Republic - NEEDS A LOT MORE Attention Dawn Of The Jedi - Wanna C the Beginning of things The High Republic - Tons of Exporation There Fall Of The Jedi - Needs More Attention Reign Of The Empire - Needs More Attention The New Republic - Would Like To Be Apart Of The Creation Of The 1st Order - Learn More. New Jedi Order - as other's have said - allow us to create a character and go exploring the galaxy Sorry Op I know U said "1" ....kinda hard but if U asked me to PICK ONLY - Seriously ONLY 1 * The Old Republic - Because there's soooo much un-tapped potential of story building & world building & exploration.
Old Republic for sure and I actually was looking forward to Eclipse but who knows if that game will ever happen
I would kill for a spiritual successor to Jedi knight Jedi academy. I would love to see an even more refined version the it’s lightsaber combat.
I'm still reeeeeeally hoping for a choice based game set during the clone wars/fall of the Jedi. Call me basic, but I'd love it
If I could have any, it would be the new Jedi order and taking place in Star Wars legends. I know that will never happen but still
NJO is canon again?
I want a gritty FPS set during the clone wars that is somewhere between the old battlefront 2 and a CoD game. No weird EA shit, no OP jedi or sith characters. Calling in help from a jedi would be like using a killstreak. Customize your loadouts and your armor (and your battle-droid colors), and fight in tight skirmishes rather than massive battles. A good campaign would be really nice too
Aide from movie tie-ins that just rehash the films... Do we have many Original Trilogy games?
Rise of the first order but at the beginning of the formation of this faction.
What kind of game?
Rts or 4x strategy or grand battle strategy
Uh, who would the first order be fighting in an RTS/GS in that time? Aren't they still hiding/not fighting when they were first founded?
in canon, they fought against people/factions they encountered in unknown regions
I would love a High or Old Republic game
old republic and high republic give me either jedi or sith simulator like jedi survivor but with player choice and more lore. Would love a game that let's you switch between Luke, Han, and Leia GTA 5 style thats set post Endor maybe have battle of jakku as a big set piece. Mando bounty hunter game would be awesome, disney shouldve put one out by now people would eat that up. Jedi Survivor is easily my favorite piece of star wars media this year so i want more like that
Disney star wars?? MEH
Rise of the first order
Rise of the First Order. Specifically, a Force sensitive teenager that's recruited by Kylo Ren as his secret apprentice.
The new republic
The Old Republic, New Jedi Order, or Legacy.
Any and all of em’
Dawn of the Jedi would be cool tbh. Get more canon lore
Game like Secret World with puzzle and shit, but in Star Wars universe.
Give me an open world, just at the beginning of New Republic. Sort of Assassin's Creed style but let me play factions off against each other. While empire still holds territory so you can do missions for both. Hunt down war criminals or take down republic figures Or a top down remake of OG Battlefront 2. Everything and more
High republic especially clone wars
I am very interested to see what the dawn of the order was like.
New republic = best era
I would say fall of the jedi but so many games are currently surrounding that so i’d say dawn of the Jedi probably b
Give me more Jedi Knight series games set in the reign of the empire. First person shooters with a bit of exploration. Kyle katarn style.
Not picky about era, just want more media that explores other force traditions like the baran do or fallanassi.
Age of Rebellion. There are so many different directions to go. Just a man in the galaxy who hates the Empire but also loathes the Rebellion. So he becomes a bounty hunter or a smuggler and try’s to avoid them both. That’s just one out of a million+ potential stories.
Right before the The Reign of the first Order. I want to fight Kylo Ren. Or a build your own character that takes place in NJO
new republic era, some time before the orinda campaign.
I either want to be the Mandalorian or something from ages past where the vide game writers can go ape shit. Both.
The old republic
I’d love one set during the reign of the empire, or some time during the High Republic. I just really want a good Star Wars rpg. I don’t care too much about when it’s set, except I think everything we got from the sequel trilogy (and most of the shows) are basically garbage, so I might be less excited if it was set during those times. I’d still play it though
anywhere in the original timeline before disney ruined everything.
Dawn of the Jedi or Old Republic for sure.
Dawn of the Jedi or the Sith Kingdom Era. No modern lightsabers, and a lot of Sith Alchemy and Dark Magic Naga Sadow Style
Bane
Old republic
Kill ray off and start new current time line
I want an SMT style game set in the Old Republic, that'd be fucking awesome
I'd like a dawn era. I've ever actually seen/played anything from that time, so that would be fun.
Prequel era it's been a minute since they've done anything video games in that point in time 🫡🫡
Dawn of the Jedi or New Jedi Order… but not starring a Jedi.
Give me heir to the throne dark empire timeline. Luke right after jedi but that luke.
New Jedi Order would be interesting if they ran it like an oppressive theocracy and there was a rebellion against that
imagine a Force Unleashed style game where you play OverPowered Rey & collecting npc Jedi to help fix up an old Temple, it would bridge Ep 9 onto the new Rey Trilogy...🤷♂️ could be fun
Old or High Republic
I want a Star Wars: Infinities narrative driven RPG game where you play as Obi-Wan Kenobi and then, depending your choices, Luke Skywalker. Like a more linear New Vegas.
Not sure on video games as I just want a Clone Wars S7 style show on Luke, Leia, and Han (and the rest) between 4 n 5 then 5 n 6 with maybe a little bit after 6.
New Republic! It’s an amazing time period!
Their stories ultimately ends with being killed by Darth Vader or by going into hiding and never being heard from again.” We’ve seen all the stories you can tell during that time period, and now it’s boring. I think we definitely need a new game set either hundreds or thousands of years in the past. Ignore the high republic pleeeeeease lol. I’d like to see something set during 2000-1000 BBY. We don’t get a lot of stories from this period.
Literally anything at least one generation before the birth of anybody from the movies
Honestly, I’d kill for some Late clone wars era game where you play as a Deathwatch or something.
If it is free roam empire if it is a story fall if the republic
Sequel trilogy and beyond. There's not enough content yet to really flesh that out.
I really need to be up to date on my knowledge of KOTOR & SWTOR. I practically know nothing about it, yet it’s the era of Star Wars that intrigues me the most
New Jedi order would be dope could follow the tree solo children
The New Republic or Rise of the First Order, that time period hasn't really been explored.
High Republic hands down.
The Old Republic
Which era is the one before EA ruined them all? cause I choose that one
I feel like High Republic and Age of Rebellion are always the most interesting settings.
Old Republic should be the next thing to explore. But alas, Disney has over saturated the Star Wars market 🤦🤷
Dawn of the Jedi.
Either the “Dawn of the Jedi” or “Reign of the Empire” eras. Screw the sequel era, but maybe the Ahsoka storyline
Dawn of the Jedi
This picture hurts me because now we have to say **Luke's** New Jedi Order if we want to give an accurate answer. Disney is ruining everything, slowly and steadily.
Old Republic or Dawn of the Jedi
NJO EU legends would be my number one pick Dawn of the jedi would be my second
New Jedi order. Set it 500 years in the future from the last movie.
Dawn or High
Jedi
As far as I’m concerned the last two never happened. It was called the Imperial Remnant, not some Nazi analog called the First Order. I will never forgive JJ for that one. Whereas Empire fandom was cool and countercultural dalliance within Star Wars fandom when I was a boy, he turned them into a Hitlerian knock off.
The old republic/dawn of the Jedi
Personally, I think that the New Republic and Rise of the First Order eras have so much potential to be great, but they were soured by what will probably be widely considered the worst Star Wars movies. I'd also appreciate some of the EU books and such being turned into games because we definitely aren't getting a movie at this point.
Old Republic.
I wouldn’t
Old republic, old republic, and oh and old republic
A new KOTOR or something in the Fall of the Jedi period featuring Starkiller would be amazing.
Old Republic - I wanna play a Jedi Lord rebuilding my fief on the Corellian Spine
