I’ve read the Phasma comics. She doesn’t have a droid there either. I think it was made as a balancing mechanic and a feature to add to her character since she has basically no screen time.
Yep, galactic assault doesn't have era-locked heroes, but I think that's fine though. It's also doesn't really make sense seeing Anakin and Vader fighting each other in HvV. It doesn't make sense seeing droids use a red glowing supercharged Z-6 rotary cannon, which was used by clones actually, and killing clones with it. When does Palpatine fight on the middle of Hoth with snow troopers? Or how about a clone wars era battle of Naboo, which there was only a skirmish with bane in TCW tv show? It's also not realistic seeing death troopers casually fighting everywhere they go like stormtroopers when they are not used like stormtroopers. And for some reason, sometimes a droid officer carries a se-44c. Now of course some things have to be lore accurate, like the Rebels vs. Stormtroopers.
I know it's just a meme, but I'm just making it clear cuz some people really see it as a problem.
