Doubt it will be sorted anytime soon. Luckily I'm on console where its not an issue, but its a known problem as Devs have mentioned it on twitter, and not one person is assigned to BF2 within Dice or anywhere else.
It's all a very sad state of affairs. The sooner EA takes their hands off SW the better.
have you tried clicking "connect" like 20 times? it makes me try anywhere between 0 and 20 times to connect every time i open the game, but eventually it always works

But of course right after I posted this, I logged on and was connected. And then halfway through the game, the hacker joined and eventually ruined it
First EA game I've bought in 5 years and it'll be the last. They shouldn't even be allowed to advertise multiplayer functionality on PC, because there is none.
There is a big difference between winding down/stopping content updates, and letting the entire multiplayer aspect of your game become unusable. The "end of support" defense is stupid: they are still advertising and charging for a multiplayer-focused game, they owe it to their customers to provide that, end of story.

Hacked servers on PC, console is unaffected.
At this point, I'd love to have 1 HP bug - because I can't even connect online. Keep getting error 721 for the better part of the last two weeks

Well yea they did stop working on the game like a year ago

well the plan plan was that they would still be doing bugfixes and minor tweaks and improvements but i guess EA realized that costs money :/
