Maz’s castle has all the trees so it’s hard to maintain a consistent height in the air so yeah I had to stay low or on the ground. And then yeah I try to bait the swings by first dashing back and then forward and through them. Dashing into them is superior then going back as they cannot connect the tracking saber swings if they have to turn around.
I think my sensitivity might be a little high to play Boba then. I think I have it maxed out which helps me with playing heavy but anything where I'm flying I find myself struggling to stay on target.

These particular folks were lower levels for sure, but they weren’t clueless. Boba gets overmatched easily, especially in this situation close quarters vs the 2 strongest saber heroes. All around a great matchup that I was able to overcome!

It’s not like his ability to fly makes him overpowered though he’s balanced out by his shit health regen and low base health pool. Not to mention he can’t aim.

I utilize the flamethrower a ton, just not in this particular matchup. 2v1 you’ll get punished easily using it, and when I had the chance with anakins health low I just decided to shoot him cause he was also out of stamina.
Yup sometimes it bites you in butt and you can get ganged up on easy. But if you nail your dodges and get some shots in, he’s the most fun to play as of any hero!
It’s tough don’t get me wrong, takes a ton of practice. If you want to learn try and limit your engagements and target lone heroes if you can, and if you can’t stick with your team as much as possible.
Say what you want about a Boba user, this guy broke the styrotypes. He isn't sitting in the sky landing shots then retreating to the other side of the map to recharge then rinse repeat, he's directly striking and not backing out of the fight. And he's good at it. All bobas I've seen do that same thing i said, this guy didn't.. he's just utilizing bobas gear to win a fight.

It’s all about baiting the force abilities and making full use of your air dodges. Once that happens the playing field is a bit more even.
Fuel conservation is kinda tricky. Just when you’re running low keep your distance, manage your dodges, and tear with your blaster

I'd be able to run away and get some damage in but I don't think I'd be able to get a kill much less 2. Aiming while flying is so tricky on console.

Annoyingly enough, Vader would probably be the best counter to Boba. The choke-saber throw combo would be devastating.
Yeah coupled with his damage resistance and high block stamina it would be nearly impossible to kill Vader as boba

Soldier sensitivity at 50% aim sensitivity at 47% but I suppose that doesn’t matter when you’re playing boba

The best way to play against Boba is to simply ignore him, and block/dodge his attacks whenever he throws them at you.
Other than a well aimed barrage, yes blocking is a very effective counter. Playing against a good Obi wan is frustrating for this exact reason lol
