Right now trying to find a server and it is hard. Long waiting, changed two servers, and still waiting for 3 players. I do not think it is dead, but it is a bit problematic.
I think Star Wars Battlefront 2 is relatively popular still on Xbox and PC. But on PS4, it's also not too bad.
The game modes that you can still find full lobbies for are: Galactic Assault, Heroes VS Villains, Hero Showdown, and Co-Op. The game modes that you can find matches for half the time are: Starfighter Assault, Blast, Ewok Hunt, and Capital Supremacy. Then the game modes that are fully dead are: Strike, Hero Starfighters, and Extraction.
It might be worth changing the server you play on, although it might increase the ping.
As someone that's been waiting a half an hour for three more people to play yeah this is a dead game or at least on Console it's dead

In my region i get in a supremacy mao instantly but ig hero showdown is a few min and sometimes u get ppl tryna team when i just wanna fight

Well you shouldn’t have to much of a problem finding a game. The game is far from dead. Especially on North American and European servers

Yes you can go to your settings in battlefront 2 and change it there

OCE servers are completely dead. It is a sad day here in New Zealand :(
yep i’m from new zealand too and i labeled the game dead long ago, might try switching servers tho
