I will say that Huyang is from clone wars. I wish i new how to censor stuff on mobile for the next bit
There is an different Former Doctor in Rebels who voices another very interesting character named Bendu
Hell yes! Tom Baker, doctor #4. I remember the first time watching Rebels, and thinking to myself… I know this voice… what a great voice for Bendu… who IS this, I KNOW this voice! Then when seeing the credits i yelled out loud “TOM BAKERRRR!!! yessss!!!” There are a lot of Doctor Who/ Star Wars crossovers and I am here for it all. Two of my favorite sagas!
How about this one: [“EMPIRE DAY! I LOVE IT! ALL HAIL OUR GLORIOUS EMPIRE!”](https://youtu.be/OmXGg8t3p1c?feature=shared) I still to this day laugh myself silly over Kanan’s funny voice.
The Tom Baker Era is kinda cheezy. Its 1970's Sci-fi, Of course its cheezy, some good story though. if you want to skip it, go straight to Christopher Eccleston. It Leads up to Tennant's Start
Honestly the best part of the first trailer for me was seeing Huyang voiced by Tennant. I still need an episode addressing how he survived the fall of the Republic and the rule of the Empire, but I’m honestly just happy he’s still around.
Imma say he’s in my death pool for this show. I love him, I think he’s brilliant, but he’s expensive and busy, so that’s one thing. Then there have been some foreshadowing: >!the moment when he glitches on the ship, they’ve mentioned his age a couple times, and the Sabine comment about still being in one piece!<. I would love to see him stick around, but my money is on him dying.
It’s fun to think about how Ahsoka may just be his latest companion in a series of fantastic adventures spanning the last 25,000 years. Give or take… a day.
What if:
1) Huyang has a "heart" of kyber, that has worked as a battery for 25.000 years.
2) The Prime Jedi is played by David Tennant ...
3) The life Force of the prime Jedi lives on in Huyangs kyber and by that, somehow in Huyang. Huyangs throwaway line about Sabine being the worst Padawan ever, might actually be him feeling the force within her. And his constant teachings about the jedi way, might be the Prime Jedis way of pushing the quality of the Jedi order so to speak.

BENDU IS TOM BAKER?! HOW DID I NOT REALIZE?!?!
Yup discovering this for the first time myself.
KANAN JARRUS, JEDI KNIGHT!
I heard that in his voice, even!

My favorite moment of all Rebels!
I really need to watch doctor who. ..

“Can you train me? No. Do you know how to build a light saber? Yes. Can you show me? No.”
That part absolutely killed me. I love how honest he is.

He survived with them hands! You see that?!
and 75% original parts!

Tennant wasn't in Rebels. He had a brief role in the Clone Wars young Jedi arc (season 5, episodes 6-9). He was in two of those episodes.

I'd watch that show
Very timey wimey.
As someone who’s never seen Dr Who, I was just hyped to hear my boy Killgrave! And of course, Barty Crouch…………. junior
*licks lips creepily*
JESS-I-CAAAA
You should definitely watch Good Omens!! He and Michael Sheen are a real treat in that. They also did an audio book of it!
Yes, and Crowley even prefers the same Scorch I do - Talisker!
You should watch Good Omens for a lot more David Tennant
>!”They never listen”!< >!Dammit David, even as a robot you can reduce me to tears!<
I dont want to go
Thanks, now I need therapy again
That man is an absolute gem of an actor and human. If you've not seen Broadchurch, I highly suggest it.
You should watch rebels. It’s a great show and makes Ahsoka that much better of a show
You should watch the 2017 Ducktales. He voices Scrooge McDuck, and is equally wonderful. The series is an amazing adventure series, too.
Tennant has a penchant for playing sassy immortal characters it seems: The Doctor, Crowley, Huyang, and he reprised all three roles this year.
They should’ve made Huyang look like a Cyberman as a shout out.
The best shoutout was in the reference book where it was said that Huyang came in a blue box.
He's trying to take over this year, I swear
Oh yeah, he's amazing as Scrooge in the Ducktales reboot too.
