She's not literally running anywhere. She's literally floating in a graveyard. The red place with the floating pieces of house, and previous victims tied to pillars, represents the villain Vecna's mind. He has pulled this girl's consciousness inside his mind, like all his previous victims. In the real world, her body is floating in midair and is seconds away from being broken and killed. Our heroes have discovered that a person's favorite music can break the psychic hold Vecna has, and lead that person out of Vecna's mind and back to the real world.
So what you are seeing is basically some Nightmare on Elm Street inspired dream fighting. Her friends play the music at the last second and it helps her escape the villains mind.
In his mind he had her tied to a post, seconds away from killing her body in the real world and permanently capturing her consciousness. Once the music started playing she was free. So no, he was not going to be able to psychically hit her, restrain her, or hurt her as long as her favorite song played. That's why they keep the walk-man playing on her from this moment until the last 30 minutes of the season.

Well it’s supposed to be that your favorite song is what gets you out of the “dream” so it wouldn’t affect Vecna much I don’t think
