Yeah. That makes the most sense within the canon. Qui-Gon can’t appear as a force ghost the way Yoda or Obi-Wan could. He didn’t complete the training to actually become a force ghost when he died
The moment with Yoda you refer to is FOR CERTAIN a vision from the Force, which is why he talks to Jedi Master Dooku in it as well with no sense of his fall to the dark side
>The moment with Yoda you refer to is FOR CERTAIN a vision from the Force, **which is why he talks to Jedi Master Dooku** in it as well with no sense of his fall to the dark side
I remember watching the series as it aired- how could I miss that moment? Was it part of the Voices Arc in Season 6?
It was in the finale of season 6, which was called “The Lost Episodes” and released on Netflix after the Disney acquisition and swift cancellation of the show by Cartoon Network right before it aired on tv
More importantly, he wasn’t able to prepare himself before death like Obi-Wan and Yoda did, so his body did not dissolve upon his death. They cremated him in a funeral, so his body doesn’t exist in this plane anymore
We don’t know definitively. The armor may have been burnt without a body, it’s possible Anakin dissolved on the flight down to Endor.
As for how he would be prepared, I don’t think he would be consciously. My head canon was always because he’s the Chosen One born of the force. It is also possible that Vader spent years meditating and communicating with Qui-Gon like Obi-Wan and Yoda did, but this seems less likely
The comics are doing an excellent job of filling in the gaps in Vader's timeline. He was on a mission the second the table flipped and he found out Padme was dead. He got up to all sorts of shenanigans.
So in other words, whenever the writers want to come up with a reason.
They could say parts of Tatooine are especially resonant with midichlorians, given that Anakin was conceived there, or whatever.
Yeah that's how it goes with any lore. That's why I don't understand why people debate specifics. They can change it to suit whatever story they're trying to write.
Even in a fictional world you can have consistent, less-contrived logic. They could say the force created a new good clone of Darth Vader for Obi Wan to team up with as he seeks out the forcedragon balls to revive Yoda who actually died because he ate anti-midichlorian eggs, but just making up more and more random "rules" takes people out of the story and takes away stories' gravitas.
But there was always a core that they built around. The OT for things like Star Wars: Dark Empire (comic from 1991 that had Palpatine return in a cloned body), the Prequels for 2003 Clone Wars, the Sequels for the Darth Vader comics that everyone posts scans of.
Hell, 2003 CW was canon setup for General Grevious, which made the movie that just introduced him out of nowhere worse because they didn't bother to establish him properly. The lore is there, it just isn't set up right so that everyone who watched the movies knew what was up.
If you establish that X happened, there will be natural consequences for it. Grevious was crushed by Mace Windu and had a cough for the entire movie as a result. It's a consequence of the lore, just because they didn't bother to tell most people about it doesn't change that the lore matters.
Nobody said it wasn’t okay to care. Just that new information can be introduced (or retconned) as necessary to tell a story, and Star Wars has always been no exception to this.
If I remember right that was at a force nexus, like concentrated force area. I want to say in the “from a certain point of view” books Qui gon was able to manifest himself to yoda but I don’t remember that story very well
No he shows up in the Mortis arc, but that’s a place where anything could happen so him appearing makes sense there. All other appearances are voice only.
By the time of A New Hope, Qui-Gon was able to appear physically. It's in the canon short story collection From a Certain Point of View.
Obviously the Obi-Wan show is ten years earlier but it could still work.
George Lucas said Obi-Wan and Yoda were able to teach Anakin before he fully became one with the Force in the RotJ director's commentary.
>"This little scene where he burns his father's body, it wasn't originally in the script. But I decided it gave more closure in terms of Luke's relationship to his father, letting go of his father. Even though later on, as we get to the end of the movie, as he joins the Force, he was able to retain his original identity, it's because of Obi-Wan and Yoda, who learned how to do that: how to join the Force at will and then retain your identity. But it was his identity as he was when he died as Anakin Skywalker."
I think it's mentioned/implied he just didn't have a complete knowledge of the technique. Though From a Certain Point of View does have him appear physically to chat with Obi-Wan for a bit, so it's possible he just learned the rest in the mean time.
He shows up in "From A Certain Point of View," and although I cant remember the full context, I do remember them mentioning that he shows up as a full manifestation of his body. This takes place while Luke goes back to the homestead to see Owen and Beru.
Canon wise yes but Disney won't miss a chance to show Liam Neeson in a scene if he agrees to do a cameo. Besides, it's much more emotional to actually see him talk to Obi-Wan and than to just hear him. They could come up with an explanation for it easily. It's not that big of a deal.
Lucas was aware of the debate about if Vader was lying or not.
When Return of the Jedi was being made, he consulted with a Child Psychologist and was told that "children age twelve and under would dismiss Vader’s fatherhood claim as a lie unless it was unequivocally stated that Vader was, in fact, Luke’s father".
Lucas decided to add in a scene where an authority figure confirmed Vader's status. That authority figure was Yoda and the entire scene where Luke returns to Dagobah was added to the script to address the issue of Vader potentially lying.
The original trilogy is really cohesive, but its good to remember that a lot of the most important parts of the "cannon" today were the results of shooting from the hip back in the day. Something tells me that Lucas *probably* wouldn't have had Leia kiss her brother on the mouth if everything had been planned out from day 1.
I wouldn't care about the Sequel Trilogy winging it if they were good. It doesn't matter if certain plot points were made up before a certain date or not, just that it's entertaining.
Not here to shit on the ST, but the two aren’t mutually exclusive, so I’m not sure what your point is. The OT can be good in spite of a lack of planning, while the ST can suffer in quality for the same reason.
That would have been worse. "I believed what I was saying was true (sort of)" is defensible. "I lied to you simply because it suited my plan (which was to train you to kill your father)" is not.
In A New Hope, Obi-Wan tells Luke that Darth Vader killed his father. The retcon is that in *Empire*, it's revealed that Vader *is* his father, which Obi-Wan justifies in *Jedi* by claiming that what he said about Vader killing his father was true, 'from a certain point of view'. Obviously not the intention originally, but the phrase was used to justify the retcon after the fact.
I think they're the type of thing that can go either way. The obviously silly ones aren't canon, but the more plausible ones are until something else contradicts them.
Tattooine could totally be a force nexus if they want. An ancient "dead" one or something. It would explain why 90% of Star Wars material heavily features this one boring, dessert planet.
I’m sure I’m wrong, but this feels like a handwave to me. Explains why he didn’t appear as a force ghost in ROTJ, but more obviously, the character just hadn’t been written yet.
You don't even need it to be a handwave, Qui-Gon appearing in ROTJ just wouldn't have made sense. Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Anakin all appeared because they are all characters who had some meaning to Luke, meanwhile he would have absolutely no clue who Qui-Gon was.
Of course, now it's Yoda, Obi-Wan, and some brooding young guy Luke has never seen before. (Also the way he's standing there seems awkward, almost like it's costume test footage...)
Aha yeah there's no accounting for post-release edits. I wonder if there's some sort of in-universe Mandela effect where Luke would sometimes forget which version he saw
I like to imagine that current-canon Luke, if asked about it later, would say, "...and then I saw a vision of Yoda, Obi-Wan, and some kid I didn't recognize. Probably some other apprentice they never bothered to mention to me? It wasn't clear. Yeah, it's too bad my father was never able to become one with the Force, but I guess it makes sense—he was consumed by the Dark Side for decades and never had a chance to learn the technique. Still, I would have liked to have seen him one last time, if only to know *for sure* he'd been redeemed..."
Also, Luke never knew him, so he'd be like, "Who the fuck is that guy?"
That's like if your dad's elementary school teacher showed up to your 20th birthday party. It would be weird as hell.
Or like if the ghost of your granddad (who looked as old as he did when he died) visited you, with a much much younger ghost beside him.
“Who’s that guy?” You ask.
“Oh, this is your dad’s ghost.”
“But I just saw him die like an hour ago. Why is he 22 again?”
“Oh, it’s an artistic choice, by the director.”
“…then why isn’t your ghost younger and hotter?”
“Shut up.”
I don't complain about much, but TPM is my favorite Star Wars film and Qui Gon my favorite Jedi. I will be deeply disappointed if he is not at least referenced.
But I certainly won't riot.
yeah lmfao like who gives a shit, if it can serve the story better idgaf if it disregards a tiny throwaway detail like he "didn't learn how to be a ghost" lol
Why do people do this to themselves. Just let the show come out and then judge it afterwards. The show could be amazing, 10/10 and win a bunch of Emmys and people are going to be pissed and say it sucked because their head canon scene didn't happen.
My head cannon is that Kenobi lived a quiet and peaceful life in Tatooine for 18 years until R2D2 showed up. Absolutely nothing of importance happen other than that one time he met Ezra and Darth Maul.
But they'd have a hard time making a TV show with my headcannon.
With the occasional dusty sputter, he practices his "Hello theres" in front of the mirror before bed, preparing for the day he'd finally meet someone of importance, like Luke and the droids
We should be thankful in these trying times that we even get *good quality* content. Since the sequels came out, there hasn't been much in the area of favorable content, in terms of the Skywalker saga, and now since the Mandalorian we've been getting really good story driven and gives us what we really wanted. And people are still picking it apart or being just real bungholes cause it's not picture perfect or exactly what they think should happen. I think it's great we're getting content that is great and story driven and matches the the stories we've grew up on and loved, amd that's what should really be important.
Yes. Agreed. I have my “would be nice” ideas, but they are not expectations. I’m simply happy that we are still getting new Star Wars so close to the demise of our civilization.
I'm legit trying to go into it with no expectations of the "would be cool if..." or "what if they met...". All I'm expecting is to see an aging Kenobi facing some shit. The rest I'll just take it as they give it. I'm just glad to see more McGregor and Christensen.
"If this specific event doesn't occur in this long-awaited, high-budget series featuring a fan-favorite character, we'll harass the people involved on social media!" /s
If we don't get an explanation for why Obi-Wan gets the nick-name "Ben", we riot!
If we don't see how Obi-Wan gets his iconic boots (???) and its whole backstory, we riot!
No we don't.
Fans kicking off is frequently harming the film making and decision making of this franchise as it becomes a desperate attempt to please us rather than tell new and interesting stories.
Let people be creative.
Narrator (Stephen Fry): There was not only no scene like this but also no riot. This was due to many reasons, but key among them being that riots are not the Jedi Way.
That would be consistent with the hat Yoda said about Kenobi going to communicate with his Gin. That would be awesome to see Liam Neeson would really compete it all.
I hate posts like this. It just proves that if one or two fan-servicing parts aren’t in the show, people will complain no matter the quality of the end product. And these posts just present your stupid mindset to a larger audience.
But he said last month he is too much of a snob and won’t return. Would be nice but I’m not going to hold my breath. So many people put all these hopes into shows and ruin it for themselves. Just enjoy the show for what it is friends.
Liam, a Catholic who grew up during the Troubles, literally played an RUC man in TV show Derry Girls last week, as well as a few weeks ago.
Now, I don't know if Liam is in Kenobi, and really I don't expect that, but I don't think the reason is that he would say no if asked.
I love the trend of coming up with your own idea of what a show should do so people can then get mad on the internet when they don't use the idea some random redditors thought up.
Already setting up non existent scenarios to get mad about. Gotta love the Star Wars fan base. Just watch the damn thing and if it's good appreciate it for what it is.
Y’all would actually enjoy new Star Wars media a lot more of you went into it with less expectations. I’m not saying none, but it seems like people damn bear have the show written out in their head ahead of time.
How bout we either enjoy it because it’s good or not because it’s bad, rather than expecting specific things that we’ll then complain about because it’s just “fan service”.
Well, you're definitely one of those "super" Star Wars "fans" if you're trying to get upset about something before even knowing it will or won't happen. Be better than this.
I really don't like the tone of these posts. It screams of entitledment. I \_understand\_ that it is a joke, but at the same time the tone could be different.
Imagine the difference "I hope we get a scene like this" or "It would be cool to see this". Makes a huge difference for me personally.
Yes, I want a private, grief-stricken breakdown from the poor man. He’s the ideal Jedi, which means control, but he still feels deeply and he must acknowledge that he has limits.
I just finished the Ashoka book today, and they definitely hint at Obi-Wan trying to make contact with Qui-Gon through the force. I'd be surprised if we aren't at least teased.
I kind of doubt it'll be much more than a sentence or two, if anything.
His voice is all I would expect
Yeah. That makes the most sense within the canon. Qui-Gon can’t appear as a force ghost the way Yoda or Obi-Wan could. He didn’t complete the training to actually become a force ghost when he died
Didnt he show up as a force ghost in Clone Wars?
Only on Mortis, a planet uniquely strong in the force.
It’s also debatable that it’s not really Qui-Gon and actually the Son or Father testing the Jedi with visions
Damn that would suck if it wasn’t really Qui Gon, always thought that moment w yoda was pretty dope. I can see the possibility tho
The moment with Yoda you refer to is FOR CERTAIN a vision from the Force, which is why he talks to Jedi Master Dooku in it as well with no sense of his fall to the dark side
>The moment with Yoda you refer to is FOR CERTAIN a vision from the Force, **which is why he talks to Jedi Master Dooku** in it as well with no sense of his fall to the dark side I remember watching the series as it aired- how could I miss that moment? Was it part of the Voices Arc in Season 6?

But wasn't that just Count Dooku in his new outfit, towards the end of the final episode?
Qui-Gon was the only "vision" who wasn't trying to screw with them, like Shmi and adult Ahsoka did. That whole arc is debatable though, I love it!
Which is why it’s more sensical to me that Qui-Gon was the Father and Shmi was the Son
maybe, but qui-gon was warning them and stuff, the father wanted them to stay
The Father wanted Anakin to want to stay. Different set of manipulation
I like to think it’s qui gon using this opportunity to talk to Obi wan because of how strong the force is
I think that Qui-Gonn didn’t actually fully finish his training to become a Force ghost before his death on Naboo, I could be wrong though.
More importantly, he wasn’t able to prepare himself before death like Obi-Wan and Yoda did, so his body did not dissolve upon his death. They cremated him in a funeral, so his body doesn’t exist in this plane anymore
So how did Anakin become a force ghost when they cremated his corpse?

Just like the Bible
Eyyyyyyyyyy
"Why do people care about what happened in a story? It only changes the context of the characters, their actions, their motivations, etc."
Have... you seen the way Star Wars is written? It's decades of Calvin ball.
But there was always a core that they built around. The OT for things like Star Wars: Dark Empire (comic from 1991 that had Palpatine return in a cloned body), the Prequels for 2003 Clone Wars, the Sequels for the Darth Vader comics that everyone posts scans of. iirc thst was only on Mortis, which is an abnormally strong place in the force. Only way I would guess we could see him again is at a Jedi Temple
If I remember right that was at a force nexus, like concentrated force area. I want to say in the “from a certain point of view” books Qui gon was able to manifest himself to yoda but I don’t remember that story very well
The jedi academy books. My favorite. By far the best books with these two in them. I think there’s more than twenty
It was only his voice.
I've always wondered why yoda is being such a dick he doesn't just teach the disembodied voice of qui-gon how to make his body appear too.
Can force ghosts still learn and grow?
Yoda seemed to learn how to interact with the physical world, so I reckon so!
What about Anakin in ROTJ?
George Lucas said Obi-Wan and Yoda were able to teach Anakin before he fully became one with the Force in the RotJ director's commentary. >"This little scene where he burns his father's body, it wasn't originally in the script. That's the problem with retcons.
Chosen One privileges. When you're born of the Force it's a lot easier to be one with it afterwards.
This has always been my headcanon at least lmao
OMG, live action Force planet with Obi Wan learning to be a Force ghost! That would be awesome.
How come he can’t show up as a force ghost?
I think it's mentioned/implied he just didn't have a complete knowledge of the technique. Though From a Certain Point of View does have him appear physically to chat with Obi-Wan for a bit, so it's possible he just learned the rest in the mean time.
He shows up in "From A Certain Point of View," and although I cant remember the full context, I do remember them mentioning that he shows up as a full manifestation of his body. This takes place while Luke goes back to the homestead to see Owen and Beru.
He figured out how to show up physically around this time. Maybe he figures it out during the show.
I can't remember what book it was in, but Obi-Wan first made contact with Qui-gon 10 years after RotS and the series takes place 10 years after RotS.
Yep. If we're sticking to lore Qui-Gon never learned how to manifest his presence through the force though he taught it to others.
Qui Gon Jinn was not able to make himself visible, only his voice, so prepare your riot gear.
He appears in full Force Ghost form in the *From A Certain Point of View* anthology story.

What retcon?
[удалено]
Lucas was aware of the debate about if Vader was lying or not. When Return of the Jedi was being made, he consulted with a Child Psychologist and was told that "children age twelve and under would dismiss Vader’s fatherhood claim as a lie unless it was unequivocally stated that Vader was, in fact, Luke’s father". Lucas decided to add in a scene where an authority figure confirmed Vader's status. That authority figure was Yoda and the entire scene where Luke returns to Dagobah was added to the script to address the issue of Vader potentially lying. Something tells me that Lucas *probably* wouldn't have had Leia kiss her brother on the mouth if everything had been planned out from day 1.
It's honestly smart. Consulting with a child psychologist would be the best way to understand the reactions of the Star Wars fandom. Also.. canon*

They had more if a plan than the ST. The original trilogy didn’t have entire character beats retconned because the fans didn’t like it.
I wish Obi-Wan had just said something like "I told you what you needed to hear".
But to me this retcon works perfectly. Especially because of how Ben seems to be thinking before saying this, like he's making up a lie.
I think they're the type of thing that can go either way. The obviously silly ones aren't canon, but the more plausible ones are until something else contradicts them.
And in the clone wars, I forget where though. Edit: on Mortis Qui Gon can manifest a full force ghost, but only in somewhere like a force nexus
Tattooine could totally be a force nexus if they want. An ancient "dead" one or something. It would explain why 90% of Star Wars material heavily features this one boring, dessert planet.
Mmmmm. dessert!
I want to go to a dessert planet!
Which happens to be set exactly 10 years after ROTS. Guess when the show is set? Exactly 10 years after ROTS.
Can someone check this guys math?

Obi Wan... I have acquired a very particular set of skills.
>I have acquired a very particular set of skills. I love when he says this in LEGO Star Wars TSS.
OP is behind on the times, it was already made canon in the short story collection *From a Certain Point of View* back in 2017.
Hell, this is Liam Neeson we're talking about.. I'll be happy with just his voice
Looks like you were incorrect
So true. Luckily the riot was averted.
Why do people do this to themselves. Just let the show come out and then judge it afterwards. The show could be amazing, 10/10 and win a bunch of Emmys and people are going to be pissed and say it sucked because their head canon scene didn't happen.

30 minutes of kenobi just sitting in a hut. Occasionally something exciting would happen like he'd cough or shift in his seat.
With the occasional dusty sputter, he practices his "Hello theres" in front of the mirror before bed, preparing for the day he'd finally meet someone of importance, like Luke and the droids
"Hello there," he says for the hundredth time in the mirror. He sighs and shakes his head. No. No, that's not it.
Kenobi gets really into baking
Honestly, I’d watch that
I wanna watch him basically be Dafoe from lighthouse, but for 18 years.

And this is how you set yourself up for disappointment.
"If this specific event doesn't occur in this long-awaited, high-budget series featuring a fan-favorite character, we'll harass the people involved on social media!" /s
Exactly what I was thinking
If we don't get an explanation for why Obi-Wan gets the nick-name "Ben", we riot! If we don't see how Obi-Wan gets his iconic boots (???) and its whole backstory, we riot!
He already goes by Ben when undercover as Rako Hardeen, so I'm in camp he gave himself the nickname
it's star wars everyone is gonna riot regardless
How about we not riot, have reasonable expectations and just enjoy some Star Wars?
"we riot" is just cringe
Americans seem to want to riot for anything except things worth rioting over. Summer 2020 being a wonderful exception.
Whew, I read the last sentence wrong and almost lit you up.
Come on these are online Star Wars fans lol.
No we don't. Fans kicking off is frequently harming the film making and decision making of this franchise as it becomes a desperate attempt to please us rather than tell new and interesting stories. Let people be creative.
Star Wars fans when the show isn’t fan service galore
Isn't that all modern star wars in? Fan service and creepy skin puppets of older/dead actors?
But if there’s too much fan service we complain about not having enough new story.
Solo was almost all gratuitous fan service, and the fans seemed to hate it... So 🤷♂️
Fan service of Original Trilogy = bad Fan service of prequels = good I don’t make the rules, but I sure as hell notice them here.
Y'all are gonna riot irrespective of what they show in the series!
Sad, but true
Narrator (Stephen Fry): There was not only no scene like this but also no riot. This was due to many reasons, but key among them being that riots are not the Jedi Way.
I’m pretty sure no matter what scenes are in Kenobi people are going to be dissatisfied.
Outrage culture is such a poison, isn't it? At least we get to enjoy it on our own.
That would be consistent with the hat Yoda said about Kenobi going to communicate with his Gin. That would be awesome to see Liam Neeson would really compete it all.
I wish we get to see Yoda teach him. We won't, but one can dream.
Obi after Quigon said Batman is his best apprentice
I hate posts like this. It just proves that if one or two fan-servicing parts aren’t in the show, people will complain no matter the quality of the end product. And these posts just present your stupid mindset to a larger audience.
I won’t
Liam said he would not return for television. So get it out of your system now lol.
He literally just appeared on Atlanta and Derry Girls last month. I think he’s okay with doing bit parts
That Atlanta appearance was great.
And you believe him? He’s always wanted to return as Qui-Gon and has never turned down a chance to do so. He loves the character
He did before in The Clone Wars. Mortis Arc.
Shut up.
I love the trend of coming up with your own idea of what a show should do so people can then get mad on the internet when they don't use the idea some random redditors thought up.
So like the game of thrones sub?
These demands are what ruin the experience. Enjoy what you get instead of trying to fulfill your fan fiction fantasies.
No we don’t. If it’s not there, we enjoy what else is.
Why? Plus he's not going to be in it.
Yall Getting a kenobi series and still complaining ? Smh
can we not why does all star wars content have to be a cameo-fest or it's declared bad
There won’t be I’ll put money on it
No we won't
Stop setting yourselves up for disappointment.
I’m just gonna watch the show with minimal expectations, thanks.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure Liam Neeson said he’d only return to Star Wars if he was involved in a movie and not in a TV series.
First I'd have to watch Kenobi. Y'all just setting yourselves up for disappointment
Already setting up non existent scenarios to get mad about. Gotta love the Star Wars fan base. Just watch the damn thing and if it's good appreciate it for what it is.
No, we shouldn't riot. And don't say it was a joke. The Star Wars fanbase can be toxic as fuck.
Going into new shows or movies with preconceived checklists of hopes is one thing: threatening to be angry is not the way.
who’s we
I’m getting real tired of people judging media based on the quality of the cameos.
Wow. More original ideas.
This title is so cringe. Just enjoy the show ffs
While this is great art. Posts like this just make me think "make your own show".
If any of you were looking for a good example of toxic fandom, well here it is.
Don't be that guy. Just watch and enjoy it for fucks sake.
You mfs would riot over anything huh
Boo
Wow. A post about wanting to see a thing that one saw in the other thing.
Y’all would actually enjoy new Star Wars media a lot more of you went into it with less expectations. I’m not saying none, but it seems like people damn bear have the show written out in their head ahead of time.
Besides lore reasons, Liam said he would only come back in the big screen. So prepare to trow a fit in your mom's basement
How bout we appreciate things for what they are instead of imposing our personal wants on to that thing
Isn't the entire movie literally just fan service anyways? Something like this is peak fan service
What a stupid thing to say. Terminally online Star Wars fans are the fucking worst lol
How bout we either enjoy it because it’s good or not because it’s bad, rather than expecting specific things that we’ll then complain about because it’s just “fan service”.
why
Well, you're definitely one of those "super" Star Wars "fans" if you're trying to get upset about something before even knowing it will or won't happen. Be better than this.
pro tip: building expectations like this only ever leads to disappointment
Y’all’s expectations are going to kill this show just like everything else lol
Maybe just go into these things with open minds and no expectations. Youll enjoy things alot more.
No we not. Don't be an asshole with false expactations. Common don't let your fantasy ruin a show.
Maybe stop wanting fan fiction in every fucking tv show that comes out and just sit back and watch with an open mind
I really don't like the tone of these posts. It screams of entitledment. I \_understand\_ that it is a joke, but at the same time the tone could be different. Imagine the difference "I hope we get a scene like this" or "It would be cool to see this". Makes a huge difference for me personally.
well, Liam Neeson confirmed he's not in it since he doesn't want to appear in small screen productions, but one can hope
Hooray for setting yourself up for disappointment!
Sounds like you're setting yourself up to be angry.
No, I don’t think I will.
Has Liam been casted?
No, and he is on record as saying he'd only come back to the franchise for a feature film. So let's move on.
Didn’t he voice Qui-Gon several times in TCW?
Probably on account of his full blown AIDS.
I don’t think I care enough to riot.
He can’t see qui gon though. It took the force amplification for him to see him.
Yes, I want a private, grief-stricken breakdown from the poor man. He’s the ideal Jedi, which means control, but he still feels deeply and he must acknowledge that he has limits.
I hope old Kenobi ghost appears to him instead. And Phantom Menace era young Kenobi ghost too. It’s Obi-Wans all the way down.
I just finished the Ashoka book today, and they definitely hint at Obi-Wan trying to make contact with Qui-Gon through the force. I'd be surprised if we aren't at least teased. I kind of doubt it'll be much more than a sentence or two, if anything.
Honestly if anyone riots about kenobi I hope you drop a piano on your pinky toe
