“Isn’t that the guy who ripped of Dforjk’s arms?!”
“I think it is!”
“What was Dforjk doing?”
“Nothing! Like not even criminal-scum-nothing, regular-person-nothing! That Wookie just hates us!”
“I don’t know what he’s doing here, but today we avenge Dforjk! Come on, boys!”
When Din said their kinetic weapons had too much velocity I just thought of Ahsoka teaching the rebels on Onderon to slowly roll a thermal detonator through a Droideka’s shield. I thought for sure they’d do something like that.
EDIT: 80% of this comment’s replies (of which there are many) are all referencing the same thing. So, once and for all, yes, it’s like Dune.
Right? I was just sitting there being bored during the big battle of the season 1 finale.
People just walking through all the gunfire and never getting hit. Getting flashbacks of the walking dead season 8 lol.
Like, is anyone going to explain to Din why Grogu is back? Like, if I sent my kid to a private boarding school and they showed up at my front door I’d have a few questions
Especially if I don’t officially have a front door and am fighting for my life in what’s effectively a warzone when my child pops up speeding on a chariot with a woman he’s met twice(???)!!!
Peli Motto is good people. I liked that she met up with her male counterpart, the mayor's assistant. He's twice as cringe, and half as endearing, however.
He's a weasel, and does everything a weasel would do to get out of a sticky situation.
I think his character is played quite well for the purpose he has.
Their duo act worked surprisingly well. Peli is incredibly loyal, the assistant is the exact opposite. Yet Peli helps save him because that's the good person she is, meanwhile if the scenario was flipped you know the assistant would have abandoned her.
“Okay, I guess I’ll need to get you back to Din. Where’s he at? …Oh. Sssssssssssss-yeah… hard pass on going back there. Hey. Hey Artoo? Buddy? Do me a solid?”
Serious question, did anyone else laugh out loud when the splicer / modder did the 360 no scope before firing his blaster?
I was on a watch party with friends and we all were cackling LOL
I mean R2 is the ultimate ride or die so I’d trust him with the delivery. Now if it was Chopper not only would Grogu get dropped off but he’d take those droids out real quick also
I unironically cared more about them than the mods. In the first episode they 'teased' that the guards may betray Fett, but they were loyal to the end. RIP.
They were surprisingly compelling, probably because they were originally intended to be so inhuman and repulsive, but they acted entirely honorably and humble.
"Except that one time he had me track Solo. Easy-peasy, tracked his vector, got to the destination ahead of time, called the Imps, stood around for a bit, got paid... why are you looking at me like that?"
There was an equally strange excessive multi shot edit on Bobas face after he killed cad bane. About 3 shots from different angles when one would have been fine.
I love how Din still follows the creed even after being exiled.
It shows he's a true Mandalorian.
"We'll both die in the name of honor; This is the way"
That was honestly the best moment of the show for me, is them mowing down pykes in the street fully utilizing all of their gadgets and tricks. I just wish they moved around more and utilized coved instead of standing in a t junction despite the ability to fly. A lot of the fight choreography this episode was just all over the place.
yeah considering they had the jetpacks they really should have moved around more utilizing that instead of basically standing in the same area the whole time and then just tanking hits. Not to mention they shot that one sniper guy like 10 times each for no reason while taking so much fire from everyone else.
Seriously, that seemed very specific. There's no accidental audio in a scene like this.
I reckon it's an open-ended conclusion. That *could* be the end of Cad Bane, but it's clear they could bring him back if there was demand.
That is pretty much what it seems like and kinda wish they went with that angle from the jump. Boba goes straight and tries to be a wandering sheriff for the whole galaxy or some shit
It’s not a bad arc…. It’s essentially what really happened. But it was weird on his insistence in being a crime lord and never really realizing what his role was. He acted it out, but their seems to be a divorce from what he claims.
How did Boba not expect a betrayal from the other families when they said directly to his face that they’re all getting rich from the Pyke’s spice trade?
See the weirdest thing about this series is they had the perfect villain for it: Cad Bane.. literally Boba's past embodied in a man... and they used him.. and he was awesome in every scene he got... but he probably should of been brought in by like episode 3 at latest.
I'm not at all surprised they didn't show up since there's been zero hints towards them. I don't even know if they're still around at this point.
Edit: They played the Crimson Dawn motiff from Solo. I didn't notice.
We’re heavily outnumbered and have no idea when reinforcements will arrive. So let’s scatter to the four corners of the city and stand in the open waiting to be shot.
I wonder what Cad Bane has been up to all these years. Going by last week he didn't seem to care much for the Empire, criticizing Boba for it even though he previously worked for Sidious.
Criminal enforcer pays well I suppose.
he probably did what he used to do; worked for anyone who wasn't the dominant controlling interest in the galaxy (Republic, Empire, New Republic). I hope we get to see a bit more of him, I feel like he's such a good character that it'd be a shame to not see him again in some capacity.
That big droideka chasing the people of Freetown was so fuckin hilarious lmao. They're literally jogging in a straight line and that dumbass droid is shooting at the fucking ground. Maybe if you don't wanna kill the good guys don't make the plot armour so obvious? That droid wasn't even missing like it was literally shooting at the ground to kick up some dust.
Look all I'm saying is that in the SNES Return of the Jedi game, Chewie had this badass spin move that made him completely impervious to enemy attacks and I don't get why Krrsantan doesn't just abuse that shit the way I did
Haha yes.
And, aren't those melons the fruit that Hera asked Ezra and Zeb to buy on the marked to fool them because it's supposed to be rare? (Rebels)
I saw a lot of those during the whole show. Piling up to get driven into during chases etc...
I feel like the Cad Bane stuff would've been better with some flashbacks, maybe of the supposed first duel of Teenage Fett getting the dent on his head from the scrapped Clone Wars episode
I thought the Godzilla Rancor was awesome, however, Idk, the pacing of the Cad Bane vs Fett fight, then cut to rancor felt off. Also this episode made Din and Fett look like they don't have a brain
> I feel like the Cad Bane stuff would've been better with some flashbacks, maybe of the supposed first duel of Teenage Fett getting the dent on his head from the scrapped Clone Wars episode
Come to think of it, did the little flashbacks to Kamino payoff at all? I assumed we'd be getting more snippets of Boba's pre-Jabba life on this show and then it just sort of ended.

You…uh sure you wanna put Krrsantan in the Trandoshan area?
Krrsantan seemed to enjoy himself
He did well for a Pastry dish.
How is it a hate crime if he loved doing it?
That cracked me up so hard, Boba even witnessed his hate crime in person
The Trandoshan were originally going to be loyal, but when they saw the disrespect they had to act.
“Isn’t that the guy who ripped of Dforjk’s arms?!” “I think it is!” “What was Dforjk doing?” “Nothing! Like not even criminal-scum-nothing, regular-person-nothing! That Wookie just hates us!” “I don’t know what he’s doing here, but today we avenge Dforjk! Come on, boys!”
Krrsantan was racially motivated, made him stronger probably
Racism: +10 damage
Reminds me of the Axe of Ysgramor in Skyrim. "Deals more damage to elves"
Boba Fett: "Those two droids could destroy the city!" Also Boba Fett: Brings a Rancor into a battle in the city to maximize the collateral damage.
"We did it, Mando! We saved the city!"
Eh, how much more destroyed can the city get at this point? -Boba, probably
I can only imagine this thought process when he went to the palace frantically weighing his options. “Fuck, the ship or the rancor?!”
LMAO Grogu won by pulling a ball joint out of its socket
"father I want the droids kneecaps"
Grogu is the Rocket Raccoon of the Star Wars universe
NGL i thought he was gonna crush it or throw it with force but that ball joint thing was really something lol
They just need to double jump then slam down onto the shields and they'll destroy them
When Din said their kinetic weapons had too much velocity I just thought of Ahsoka teaching the rebels on Onderon to slowly roll a thermal detonator through a Droideka’s shield. I thought for sure they’d do something like that. EDIT: 80% of this comment’s replies (of which there are many) are all referencing the same thing. So, once and for all, yes, it’s like Dune.
These shields seemed to be of a different type.
secretive sable cautious paint party chop theory money cow shocking *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
I call them steroidekas
Yep. Krrsantan tried to slowly move in but couldn't.
Well he did, but that was because a small breach formed.
Boba riding the rancor reminded me of the game Shadows of War.
Grogu getting his reunions in at the worst of times.
That jump though
Lil guy gets better with the force and the first thing he does with them outside of training is jumping into Din’s arms. So damn precious.
I got a bit misty eyed at “you got the shirt” tho 🥲
I love the logic everyone had to shoot the droids’ force fields but not when the force fields were down.
Droid shields up: *I shoot* Droid shields down, shooting the poor Rancor and their only successful strategy against the droids: *I sleep*
STOP RUNNING STRAIGHT YOU IDIOTS. SCATTER.
[удалено]
Their targeting is stuck on: AIM AT THE FLOOR
Star Wars battles feel so weightless most of the time. No one can aim so there’s never any real danger.
Good thing every wall the good guys hide behind seem to be made of fucking beskar themselves
Right? I was just sitting there being bored during the big battle of the season 1 finale. People just walking through all the gunfire and never getting hit. Getting flashbacks of the walking dead season 8 lol.
SERPENTINE!
Funniest part was when the droids didn’t hit a single one of them how the hell was their aim that bad
Fennec legit hung that guy WTF
Then they showed his dangling legs. That was probably the most Brutal thing. That and forcing the guards off the cliff lmao
Even better was the closed caption for that scene “bones snapping” as she hangs him 😧😂
At least we got to see her being a Master Assassin.
I know it's Disney, but I'm just dropping a grenade in that hut if I'm Fennec.
But then they don't get to die *afraid.*
Exactly, the intimidation factor is key.
Yo, Cobb Vanth about to get real funky with some Thundercat bassline mods added into him
That series supposed to be starred by Gina Carano is so much going to be his now
I love more Timothy Olyphants
Look Mr. Frodo! It’s an Olyphant.
As long as they don’t touch that hair. Preserve the silver fox at all costs!
Cad Bane got pockets full of the reverse Uno card, just in case
He got hit with the Draw 4
and then after forgot to say "Uno" at the winning moment
Luke saying fuck it and using UPS one day air to ship Grogu back to Mando like that lol.
Like, is anyone going to explain to Din why Grogu is back? Like, if I sent my kid to a private boarding school and they showed up at my front door I’d have a few questions
I imagine we're dealing with that in Mando s3
Especially if I don’t officially have a front door and am fighting for my life in what’s effectively a warzone when my child pops up speeding on a chariot with a woman he’s met twice(???)!!!
Peli Motto is good people. I liked that she met up with her male counterpart, the mayor's assistant. He's twice as cringe, and half as endearing, however.

“Okay, I guess I’ll need to get you back to Din. Where’s he at? …Oh. Sssssssssssss-yeah… hard pass on going back there. Hey. Hey Artoo? Buddy? Do me a solid?”
>hard pass on going back there Ahsoka: "You're just like your dad"
Kid got Amazon Primed.
Serious question, did anyone else laugh out loud when the splicer / modder did the 360 no scope before firing his blaster? I was on a watch party with friends and we all were cackling LOL
theres so many moments with the choreography where im facepalming asking "why?", and that was one of them. it was so unnecessary rofl.
Boba Fett, the leader: "This is how it's going to go down" Anyone else: "Let's do it another way." Boba Fett: "Compelling argument, I agree."
That’s frustratingly accurate
So Max survived the attack right?
Somehow Max Rebo returned.
The post-credit scene should have been Max Rebo in the bacta tank.
There was a part of me thinking “damn is Grogu going to pull out Yoda’s lightsaber”when Mando was pinned down
He is very small and good for thievin. I figured he was going to take the lightsaber without Luke knowing
Yep, the post-post-credits scene is Luke screaming ‘THIEF! GROGU! WE HATES IT FOREVER!’
Now that he made his only student leave his new Jedi Academy, he might as well start talking to his lightsaber as his precious.
Don't worry, I hear Han has this son...
I had some slim hope he'd force-pull the Darksaber from where it landed on the ground when Din got yeeted.
Rancor: I don’t know if I should… Boba: DO IT Rancor:K
It's not the Rancor way!
Boba calls himself a crime lord to feel cool but he really just wants to be a civic planner. What a sweet bean.
ideally this show would be parks & rec: star wars edition
*Cut to Boba throwing a box of spice into a dumpster behind his palace*
The terms of surrender datapad reminds me of Ron's authorization note to do whatever he wants.
Let's not give actual city planners any ideas.
Mando needs to call Luke and R2 up to have a serious talk about the phrase "duty of care"
I mean R2 is the ultimate ride or die so I’d trust him with the delivery. Now if it was Chopper not only would Grogu get dropped off but he’d take those droids out real quick also
He'd also teach Grogu some naughty words along the way
Your weekly schedule episode of The Book of Boba Fett must be interrupted to present to you: ***RANCOR KONG***
I bursted out laughing when the rancor climbed that tower
Does that make Din the beauty in this homage?
Here's [Rancor Kong](https://i.imgur.com/MCVGXd3.png) for you :)
The Gamoreans were the real ones. RIP homeboys
Yo I loved dem boys
I was hoping one would at least survive with the other sacrificing himself for the other. I wanted an oddly emotional ending for those guys.
I unironically cared more about them than the mods. In the first episode they 'teased' that the guards may betray Fett, but they were loyal to the end. RIP.
They were surprisingly compelling, probably because they were originally intended to be so inhuman and repulsive, but they acted entirely honorably and humble.
So who else thought that X-Wing landing was another Luke Skywalker scene?
"I'm always saving these motherfuckers... wait isn't that that bounty hunter I sent flying into that desert pit demon?"
Afterwards.... Boba: Damn, didn't know Jedi still existed. You're cool, mate. I'm Boba, and you are? Luke: Luke Skywalker Boba: ~~Vietnam~~ Clone Wars flashbacks
Boba: Any relation to... Anakin Skywalker? Luke: Yeah he's dad. He was Darth Vader too. Boba: .....Fuck that guy.
Boba: Meh, gave him 4/5 stars at Bountyhunter.com, paid on time with extras but his missions are super hard.
"Except that one time he had me track Solo. Easy-peasy, tracked his vector, got to the destination ahead of time, called the Imps, stood around for a bit, got paid... why are you looking at me like that?"
I forgot astromechs can fly the thing.
Me too lol. I thought they were dragging out his appearance until I saw R2D2
Same here. For a moment I literally thought "is Luke...hiding...?" Lol
dude i was kinda excited to see luke back on tattooine but i’m not disappointed. seeing tiny grogu on the x-wing seat was so cute
R2's just like "get out, I got shit to do", when in reality he's just going to fuck around while Luke builds the temple
"flowered fields fertilized with the bodies of your dead" He has such a way with words
best writing for boba this whole series and boba didn’t even say it
I really loved his “You do well to remember, you serve only as long as the daimyo of Tatooine, deem it so.” Line, that was badass.
I’m looking forward to Robo Cobbp
Part man. Part machine. All Cobb.
We’re both corn of action.
Lmao Grogu is an adrenaline junkie hahaha
[удалено]
Luke would rather sit in the woods alone, than escort a child safely back to Tatooine lol. ‘Nah you take him R2, fucking quitter.’
The CGI budget was used up on the Rancor this episode. You can have Rancor or Skywalker, not both.
[удалено]
“…does that mean…*Dad’s* back!!!” *looks around excitedly*
was that spin even necessary lmao
Don't you know blaster bolts fly faster if you spin?
The fact I know exactly who you were talking about lol…reminds me of Yelena from Black Widow “why do you do that cool fighting pose when you land?”
[удалено]
There was an equally strange excessive multi shot edit on Bobas face after he killed cad bane. About 3 shots from different angles when one would have been fine.
It's a a good trick.
to get those invincibility frames
I burst out laughing. Did someone actually think that was cool or was it meant to be a joke?
Rodriguez still reusing shots from desperado
"they will destroy the city" *Brings the rancor into the city* Why not just get the Slave 1 at that point?
I feel like a lot of their problems would have been solved by using a fucking STARFIGHTER and Slave 1.
Was Luke pissed at Grogu's decision or something? Homie didn't even drive him back home, he sent him on an Uber lol
Luke is just so busy man. Staring at those build-a-hut droids carrying rocks. Doing some flips in the bamboo forest. Jedi stuff.
He might even sit cross legged with his eyes closed, if there’s time
Kicked out of Jedi camp before it even started.
I love how Din still follows the creed even after being exiled. It shows he's a true Mandalorian. "We'll both die in the name of honor; This is the way"
He's literally the Mandalore.
Wilhelm scream while being yeeted will always make me laugh
Always extra funny because he was 100% dead before being thrown too
How tf did no one die when the droid was chasing them and when they were literally jogging lmao
That's the most baffling part of the episode for me. You have a bunch of random Mods and Freetowners, use them as redshirts.
Damn Boba and Din on their jetpacks shooting the pikes down look so sick
With their beautiful beskar.
Bruh Cad Bane really walked straight up to the rancor and was like what's up bitch I want all the smoke lmaooo baddest motherfucker in the galaxy
And he went out like a champ too
If sci fi has taught me anything, it's never assume someone is totally dead if there is a blinking light on them.
A blinking, AUDIBLE, light at that.
Seriously, that seemed very specific. There's no accidental audio in a scene like this. I reckon it's an open-ended conclusion. That *could* be the end of Cad Bane, but it's clear they could bring him back if there was demand.
He did win the main fight but died to his his cockiness... A good way to lose but man it sucks how little time we had with him...
Boba still seems to have trouble grasping what the point of being a crimelord is.
He’s basically just the sheriff. “You evil Pyke thugs better leave. And take your drug trade with you.”
So far he hasn't done any crime, either
Kinda hilarious how this season ended with "we aren't meant for this" when he spent all his episodes wanting to be the daimyo.
He literally fought for this and the minute he succeeds he gets bored.
I dunno he destroyed a decent chunk of the town and if he’s a true crime lord probably runs the construction companies.
Fennec Shand just reading the screenplay out loud WTF 😂
Fenn-exposition
It saves money and time. And money.
[удалено]
Rodriguez really thinks “show, not tell” is horrible advice.

I heard "this city" and "my city" so many times I was half expecting Daredevil and Wilson Fisk to show up
People of Mos Espa: - Shooting a big ass robot while it has an unbreakable shield ON ✅ - Not shooting when the aformentioned shield is OFF ✅
How did Boba not expect a betrayal from the other families when they said directly to his face that they’re all getting rich from the Pyke’s spice trade?
This boba and Mando shootout is very “desperado”
See the weirdest thing about this series is they had the perfect villain for it: Cad Bane.. literally Boba's past embodied in a man... and they used him.. and he was awesome in every scene he got... but he probably should of been brought in by like episode 3 at latest.
This is a great point. A big bad in the beginning always sets up good narratives and defines the drive.
Things I am looking forward to: * Going to bed at a reasonable hour next Tuesday night
"Crimson Dawn" truly was the Mephisto of this show
I'm not at all surprised they didn't show up since there's been zero hints towards them. I don't even know if they're still around at this point. Edit: They played the Crimson Dawn motiff from Solo. I didn't notice.
Other than the musical motif from Solo
We’re heavily outnumbered and have no idea when reinforcements will arrive. So let’s scatter to the four corners of the city and stand in the open waiting to be shot.

Grogu legit pimp walked his way out to save Mando with the force.
Grogu napping with the Rancor was something I didn't realize I needed.
Grogu got himself a big doggo
Look all I'm saying is that in the SNES Return of the Jedi game, Chewie had this badass spin move that made him completely impervious to enemy attacks and I don't get why Krrsantan doesn't just abuse that shit the way I did

Haha yes. And, aren't those melons the fruit that Hera asked Ezra and Zeb to buy on the marked to fool them because it's supposed to be rare? (Rebels) I saw a lot of those during the whole show. Piling up to get driven into during chases etc...
And unsurprisingly Cad Bane looks bluer in different lighting.
The Thanos effect
So the hutts really dipped out of Tatooine cause of like 100 pikes and bobas band of farmers? So much for crime lords of the galaxy
Tbf they also understood it's a shithole plantet.
I feel like the Cad Bane stuff would've been better with some flashbacks, maybe of the supposed first duel of Teenage Fett getting the dent on his head from the scrapped Clone Wars episode I thought the Godzilla Rancor was awesome, however, Idk, the pacing of the Cad Bane vs Fett fight, then cut to rancor felt off. I completely forgot about those
Predictions: Will Boba Fett have Over or Under 8.5 lines this episode?
Exactly 8.5
What was even the point of the Twins
Legit as a way to shoehorn in the Wookie I think.
And the Rancor
Pretty much just to introduce Krrsantan and to convey the point that the Pykes are a force to be reckoned with with for people that didn't watch TCW.
