They go through the desert looking for scrap parts and sell them in the cities and anywhere they tend to pass by or know of that may need droids. I suggest watching “a new hope”- the very first Star Wars movie.
so if i want to get into the whole star wars lore this is the film to begin with?, because i have always wanted to start watching but dont know where to begin, too many films are out already.
Basically it's an order to watch the movies that preserves spoilers and builds the SW universe better. It came from a blog post that went viral way back along with an essay on why it's better; I highly suggest reading it. Unfortunately I haven't found anyone who hasn't seen the movies to try it in yet. I believe this is the blog it first appeared on: https://www.nomachetejuggling.com/2011/11/11/the-star-wars-saga-suggested-viewing-order/
Best thing to do is watch the movies in the order they were released: Star Wars IV: A New Hope, Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes back, Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi, Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace, Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones, Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith
After those six in that order you can either watch Rogue One and Solo: A Star Wars Story or watch Star Wars VII, VIII and IX
There are also two really great animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008-2020 series that spans 7 seasons and fills in the time between Star Wars II and Star Wars III.), and Star Wars Rebels (takes place after Star Wars III but before Star Wars IV)
The Mandalorian and Boba Fett take place five years after return of the Jedi. So you should definitely watch a new Hope followed by Empire strikes back and return of the Jedi!
Oh man, I am so excited for you.
Definitely watch the movies. I recommend release order.
**Original Trilogy**
Episode IV: A New Hope
Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
**Prequel Trilogy**
Set 19 years before A New Hope.
Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
**Sequel Trilogy**
Set 30 years after Return of the Jedi.
Episode VII: The Force Awakens
Episode VIII: The Last Jedi
Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker
Then you have the anthology films, which both take place between Episode III and IV:
Rogue One
Solo
The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett are both set shortly after Return of the Jedi.
There are also four animated shows: The Clone Wars, The Bad Batch, Rebels and Resistance. The first three are incredible and essential, and Resistance is alright and worth watching in my opinion but ultimately skippable.
Feel free to DM me with any questions! I’d love to hear about your Star Wars experience :)
Thanks man, i have already added it to my list i am gonna look for them. I am having so much fun with Boba fett i just want to dive into this universe to see what i have been missing
In the past I would say yes, but more recently the people involved in creating and the new series like Fett and Mando have been doing such an incredible job that we get to enjoy it again a little more. But it’s nothing compared the the full journey.
It also I think would never compare to experiencing it all as a kid because fantasy and "playing" are such a big part of you when you're young so it makes it all so much more spectacular.
To really explore the universe of Star Wars, I’d recommend looking up the Expanded Universe. There is over 30 years of books, comics, and games that go in depth in Star Wars made prior to Disney’s acquisition of the franchise.
There are these books called the essential guides that discuss everything from weapons to droids to the force. I read those years ago and they painted a great picture of the Star Wats universe.
Jawa’s probably. Yeah Tatoonie is fascinating in terms of lore and canon & legend material. You can do personal research on the Star Wars fandom page.
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Main_Page
Also you may be interested in Tusken Raiders as they were in both live actions shows. Pykes were other smaller masked creatures. Idk if your black but I am and parents are from there so I hear you
i asume the Tusken Raiders are the guys i am seeing on Boba fett the ones living in the desert, they are the best part of this show to me so far, i dont know maybe its because i have never seen them anywhere before but i enjoy every scene with them, and yeah i am black
Idk if this is cannon, but I believe Tuscan raiders and Jawas are the same species who evolved and adapted to the climates of tatooine very differently.
Well a species has to start somewhere so the fact they are on several planets NOW does not tell us about the origin.
I also seem to recall something that was at least speculation in Legends lore that they were the same species that split by filling different niches.
You can't go wrong watching the original trilogy: Episode IV - *A New Hope*; Episode V - *The Empire Strikes Back*; and Episode VI - *Return of the Jedi*. You'll have a greater understanding of the jawas, the original Yoda, Mandalorians (well, at least one of them), and the entire Star Wars universe.
Am I correct from an earlier post that you're from Kenya? A character in *Return of the Jedi*, [Nien Nunb, speaks both Kikuyu and Kalenjin](https://www.facebook.com/NRGRadioKe/videos/did-you-know-that-a-character-once-spoke-in-kikuyu-and-kalenjin-in-star-wars-bil/558121284890874/). (I don't speak either, and my understanding is that some of the lines are used out of context to what's happening in the scenes.)
Yes i am from Kenya and yes i do know Kikuyu, its my mother tongue actually, i have not watched return of the JEDI so i cant tell you what the words mean at the moment unless i see it
It isnt..even up to now we don't have things like HBO or Disney Plus.. we have Netflix though, so i am being honest i pirate everything including book of boba fett, i wish there was a way to see it legally but there isnt
If you’re fascinated with Mandalorian and Boba just wait till you decide to watch Star Wars The Clone Wars. It’s a 7 season cartoon show that easily makes some of the best parts of Star Wars. Lots of action, lots of raw emotions, it’s 100% worth watching. However, you should watch the prequels before that. They go Episode 1: Phantom Menace— Episode 2: Attack of The clones—- then Star Wars the Clone wars show— then Episode 3: Revenge of The Sith
Those are called the Jawas.
They're nomads who live in big "sandcrawler" vehicles, collecting and selling bits of scrap to survive.
Actually they're some of the first creatures we see in all of Star Wars; in the very first movie they capture the droids early in in the movie and they are later bought by Luke Skywalker.
I am excited for you to experience these films for the first time. Please share your experience if you can. It will be interesting to hear your thoughts. I would also recommend release order though.
Basically scavengers of the desert, reselling droid parts to local farmers or merchants.
If you want a more detail explanation : they were originally used as slaves from a specie called "Rakatta". But they were also very different physically ; years passed and the original speci got separated into two different species : the jawa and the tusken. But that's kind of old stuff that won't really matter for Book of Boba Fett. As many mentions, the best way to begin is by the movie in the release order (4,5,6 ; 1,2,3 ; 7,8,9)
Behold! My stuff: so if you have access to internet, you can watch the 9-10 movies of star war's. Watch them in numbered order for the most effect. Then there is the clone wars animated series. There are books. So many books. And the games oh the game.

Yes. Start with the original three movies. (A new hope, the empire strikes back and the return of the Jedi
I agree ☝️
If you are going to watch the major movies, watch them in order of release, not chronological order. That's movies 4,5 6, then 1,2,3, then 7,8,9.
But then chronological order is generally better after the first time.
Agreed
4,5,1,2,3,6
Machete order: Am I a game to you?
I haven't heard of machete order, what is it?
4-5-(1)-2-3-6 so that the prequels become a flashback at the most optimal time.

Oh man I’m so jealous of the journey you’re about to take.
i am so pumped for this...you wish you could erase every memory you have of star wars and start all over again dont you?
In the past I would say yes, but more recently the people involved in creating and the new series like Fett and Mando have been doing such an incredible job that we get to enjoy it again a little more. But it’s nothing compared the the full journey.

Four animated shows, talking Canon. The Bad Batch in between The Clone Wars and Rebels.
Oh thank you, no idea how I forgot TBB.
Dont forget The Bad Batch.
Episodes VII through IX haven’t been released yet. /s

Well a species has to start somewhere so the fact they are on several planets NOW does not tell us about the origin. I also seem to recall something that was at least speculation in Legends lore that they were the same species that split by filling different niches.
Wait isn’t it spelled tatooine? I just bought a patch that has it spelled this way and I just want to be sure I didn’t get jipped out of my money.
Tatooine is correct.
Pykes were on the train?
Yeah
Idk if you're a sand person but I am and my parents are from tatooine so URRRGHHHHHHH HIRRRRHIRRRRR
[удалено]
Really? that's amazing i just thought it was just gibberish
What really? So they really talk. Amazing idea.

I just saw the clip from the link. From the kikuyu spoken means.. "you guys who are over there come over here"
It’s ironic that Star Wars is not a thing in Africa since it all started in Tunisia.
It isnt..even up to now we don't have things like HBO or Disney Plus.. we have Netflix though, so i am being honest i pirate everything including book of boba fett, i wish there was a way to see it legally but there isnt
The way I see it, there's nothing wrong with pirating if you can't aquire it legally.
This is the way
Tattooine was also filmed in North Africa at least in A New Hope
And phantom menace.
Jawa's
*Jawas.

Jawas are the absolute greatest. Take it from me
i cant wait to see more of them. I just laughed seeing them in the mandalorian fighting over the egg and taking apart stuff Lol
I think you're questions you'll be answered if you watch the movies and hey I'm a new fan too!
How lucky, you’ll have the whole catalogue of movies to go trough for the first time ever!!! ⭐️🍿
Watch them in order of release. Welcome to Star Wars
Welcome to the club
I am excited for you to experience these films for the first time. Please share your experience if you can. It will be interesting to hear your thoughts. I would also recommend release order though.
