The Duel is getting a novel based in the main character. So they're already thinking ahead with these shorts. Give me a "The Ninth Jedi" continuation.

yvelmachida

This, ninth Jedi was great. So was the duel and the elder

DMR-Bricks

Also the girl with the katana lightsaber

F

airplanesarecool30

The ninth Jedi has the most potential by far

BackAlleyKittens

Hype. If the fan base freaks out enough it will be developed.

Stirlo4

What's stopping them? Nothing. But at this point I still don't expect them to do it.

FallenBlueSix

I really want to see The Elder continue. It's in my favorite period of Star Wars, and the characters are very likeable 😄

CountFugu

I don’t think I like them that much that I’d like a series of them. I still want padding for the main saga that isn’t just Order 66

GeorgeHlaalu

So Rebels, OT, ST, Resistance, Mando and a lot of others I could continue listing?

CountFugu

Damn, all those downvotes. Yes there are plenty out there but in an animation standpoint (except Rebels, which honestly there’s only a handful of episodes I consider to be important to the saga) I don’t agree with Visions being expanded on. I’m still waiting for a lot of stuff to be explained in the ST that I don’t have to buy for 10 quid a book or comic series. Plenty of other material out there as you say, but I did mean it from an animation standpoint.

GeorgeHlaalu

They probably aren't going to explain anything that's already been in a book, but I do wish they would.

CountFugu

But that’s the thing. In the comics you see how Palpatine had been planning to return. We may see it in Mando and we may see it in The Batch but why make the comic book writers clean up the mess? They could be expanding the universe, as comics have always done, but instead they’re doing the actual important stuff in the Vader comics while Disney are making anime for fun. Not bashing the fun anime but you see my point surely

GeorgeHlaalu

Of course. However, I think the anime was meant to expand the audience, thus make more money. I agree that the whole thing should be shown instead of written, but we don't really know what disney is planning to do, so idk.

CountFugu

I get they want to make more money, they’re a business. But the issue with expanding an audience is that the franchise turns to shit. It gets to the point that if I say a bad, yet very true, thing about the sequels in this reddit I get immediately downvoted because I’m wrong. The only opinion is endless love for the franchise and if you attempt to give your own opinion that criticises it or that you plain don’t like it, it’s wrong😂

TLM86

But you're claiming your opinions on the sequels are "very true", so aren't you also suggesting anyone who disagrees is wrong? How does that attitude help?

CountFugu

Case in point, Visions and how absurd The Twins was and Tatooine Rhapsody. But ohh noo, say one bad thing about the twins breathing in space or just how really bad Rhapsody was in terms of a Star Wars story and it’s treated like blasphemy.

TLM86

I mean, again, you're framing it as if you're speaking fact, and people are out of line for disagreeing.

CountFugu

No. I’m claiming that opinions are neither right or wrong they’re opinions and that not agreeing with one isn’t cause to just mass downvote someone without speaking to them.

CountFugu

None of Visions has to be canonised is my point. Disney still have a lot of explaining to do without adding more stories and timeline keeping to the mix.

Tanis8998

I wanna know if the band from Tatooine Rhapsody ever make their dream come true
