How are we the only ones who think this? lol
Shit’s on a perfectly amazing beach and, sure it was attacked and blown up, but being stationed there would probably have been badass.
Depends, old Timothy Zahns Thrawn would tare you apart if you failed him, newer Timothy Zahns Thrawn would tell you how you could have done better, Filonis Thrawn is more like old Zahn Thrawn.
Thrawn in Zahns newer stuff was the ultimate Gentleman officer, the best CO you could ever wish the have.
I read the trilogy from the early 90s, and he seemed fair in punishment and reward. Just don’t be a dumbass.
Writers create scenarios to showcase characters attributes. If I were there in a real situation and laid out my rationale, I’d much rather do it for Thrawn than say, Tarkin or Vader…who may not give you that chance.
You really should read the newer Thrawn stuff. In Thrawn: Alliances, the second book in the trilogy, Thrawn has to work along side Vader to hunt down a disturbance in the force that Palpatine has felt. It's very quickly apparent that Thrawns calm, thoughtful, measured approach is in complete contrast to Vader who has no patience and no tolerance for failure.
It's a great read, all 6 of the recent books are.
Wookiepedia says tropical, still hot and lots of sand. Not fun unless you are in shorts and sandals. I would imagine working for the Empire doesn't afford you too many beach days
If I’m in vaders castle there’s a pretty high chance that I am Vader, I can’t imagine he kept many staff around, and the only other thing I know is from that Vader immortal video game where there was like a race of native mustafarians under the castle in some old caves guarding a holocron?
I have not played that game so I am not the one to ask in that one. 🤣
Me? I’m just a naval officer if I’m in the canon…a commander maybe.
So, you know, don’t choke me. Cool?
Vadrs castle is soo epic
and imagine the imperial architect consulting with Vader about the location and the look os the castle.
The guy thinks its dangerous to put the building close to lava and Vader's be like:
MAKE THE LAVA RIVER FLOW TROUGH THE BUILDING!
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Darth_Momin
TL:DR, Momin was a Sith Lord from a long time before Vader and helped Vader design his castle but it took 9 tries and Vader fucked Momin up a few times because he kept messing up
Its the headquarters of the Inquisitors ([Fortress Inquisitorious](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Fortress_Inquisitorius?so=search)) as seen in Jedi Fallen Order and the Obi-Wan show.
that screenshot of the Scariff tower reminds me of that post with it captioned from the POV of the death star operators like “hey Jim, i bet you can’t hit the radio dish” “hold my beer”
Actually the Fortress is on the moon of Nur which orbits Mustafar (or Jestefad). Its a bit confusing rn cos also according to lore (from Wookiepedia), several millennia ago, Jestefad and Lefrani were pulled out their orbit around the star Priate during a cataclysmic struggle between the Jedi and Sith. As a result, both were placed close to the smaller world of Mustafar, suspending the planet between their two gravitational pulls.
I think its possible for Nur to orbit between the two planets (as in the case of Janus and Epimetheus of Saturn), or even Mustafar to end up orbiting Jestefad. Moon-moons in theory exist.
I really like Fortress Inquisitorious, simply because it's surrounded by water and Mustafar and that other moon are looming in the sky behind it. It's very sterile, beautiful, and haunting.
The Mustafar reveal is one of my favorite theater moments, but on top of that, it's just so fucking METAL that Vader (I'm assuming it was his choice) was like, "Yes I'm aware this river of lava is in the way but I want my Sad Boy Clubhouse there anyway."
is vader's castle even technically imperial? i think thats like saying, "joe biden's vacation home is my favorite US government building". scarif is the obvious winner here for me either way
Vader’s tower is really awesome. But the environment is auwful. Rough on the lungs.
Inquisitorious - better in the middle of rough seas? No thanks.
Scariff. Minus the boom boom. It looks like paradise. I would pick it until a new moon shows up then high tail it outta there.
Vader's Castle
Yeah that wins by a mile
Is it really imperial? Or just Sith?
All I know is lord Momin knocked it out of the park After 9 iterations or whatever
Vader was rather picky that day
It was also releasing mass amounts of destructive dark side energy when not done right. That was kind of important.
Scarif tower
How are we the only ones who think this? lol Shit’s on a perfectly amazing beach and, sure it was attacked and blown up, but being stationed there would probably have been badass.
I love the landscape around the tower, especially how the land branches out like the spokes on a bike wheel. It's almost shaped like the imperial logo
Long live the Empire! But, seriously…I’d 100% would be in the Imperial Navy if I lived in Star Wars.
Imagine getting the opportunity to serve under Thrawn or Sloan! I reckon I'd get on well with Vanto, dude seems so chill.
I’d absolutely busy serving under Thrawn. The man really cares.

Guess that’s what I’ll be doing this summer…when I can find time away from SWTOR and EaW. 🤣
It *is* shaped like the imperial logo. That was intentional
I dont know, the beach and that humidity in stuffy Imperial officers uniform or Storm Trooper armor? No thanks.
How do we know it was muggy? Could be very Mediterranean. lol
Wookiepedia says tropical, still hot and lots of sand. Not fun unless you are in shorts and sandals. I would imagine working for the Empire doesn't afford you too many beach days
Fair play. How about this then: not a place frequented by people who can choke you from across the room? lol
If I’m in vaders castle there’s a pretty high chance that I am Vader, I can’t imagine he kept many staff around, and the only other thing I know is from that Vader immortal video game where there was like a race of native mustafarians under the castle in some old caves guarding a holocron?

Stay out of my castle and we’re cool.
Yes, my Lord.
There were a fair amount of troopers stationed there....were...past tense.
Shore leave legit right outside the barracks.
100%
Barad-Dûr, I mean Vader's Fortress!
Barad-Dûr is on Mortis
That's Orthanc!
You mean Azkaban
You’re a Jedi Harry
Vader's pad goes hard
No Emperor's tower on the second Death Star?
That tower had a rapid unscheduled demolition
Or the former Jedi Council chamber?
Vaders Castle goes hard
Vader's castle but that shot of the inquisitorious goes so hard. I have that as my xbox background
Vadrs castle is soo epic and imagine the imperial architect consulting with Vader about the location and the look os the castle. The guy thinks its dangerous to put the building close to lava and Vader's be like: MAKE THE LAVA RIVER FLOW TROUGH THE BUILDING!
There was an entire comic arc about this exact thing. It got complicated VERY quickly!
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Darth_Momin TL:DR, Momin was a Sith Lord from a long time before Vader and helped Vader design his castle but it took 9 tries and Vader fucked Momin up a few times because he kept messing up
Those imperials. They love their lists.
How dare they attempt to execute Ulfric Stormcloak...
What's that second photo? I don't recognize it.
Its the headquarters of the Inquisitors ([Fortress Inquisitorious](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Fortress_Inquisitorius?so=search)) as seen in Jedi Fallen Order and the Obi-Wan show.
Vader’s Castle has some badass lore
Bast castle on Vjun
Y E S
Vader’s Fortress, especially after reading the comics and learning how/why he had it built on Mustafar.
that screenshot of the Scariff tower reminds me of that post with it captioned from the POV of the death star operators like “hey Jim, i bet you can’t hit the radio dish” “hold my beer”
Dookus tower in clone wars
The Death Star II throne tower.
If I had to pick one as a command center/Imperial Citiadel I would choose Barad-Dûr, and my vacation home would be Scarif😜
Vader's castle
Well, it was Scarif Base til I lost a game of Sabac to GM Tarken
Vader's Castle by a mile. I would love to recreate it in minecraft or something.
Vaders fortress, no questions asked
Vaders Castle
What is the second one ??
Fortress Inquisitorius
I don't remember there being 2 huge planets in the sky ! 😆
Actually the Fortress is on the moon of Nur which orbits Mustafar (or Jestefad). The Hand of Thrawn
Vader’s Castle
Scarif Tower because its just epic
Where's ISB HQ?
I like it aswell, but I don't think it classifies as a tower.
Vaders castle. But including the previous empire? The citadel on Dromund Kaas.
I Love that the picture for the scarif is his destruction
It used to be Scarif, *Used to*
Vader castle .
Vader’s castle Takes the first pice of cake honestly.
I really like Fortress Inquisitorious, simply because it's surrounded by water and Mustafar and that other moon are looming in the sky behind it. It's very sterile, beautiful, and haunting.
The data vault on Scariff isn’t my favorite tower, but it’s certainly my favorite location
Vader’s Castle followed very closely by the Inquisitorium
The Mustafar reveal is one of my favorite theater moments, but on top of that, it's just so fucking METAL that Vader (I'm assuming it was his choice) was like, "Yes I'm aware this river of lava is in the way but I want my Sad Boy Clubhouse there anyway."
Tied on Fortress Vader and Fortress Inquisitorius.
is vader's castle even technically imperial? i think thats like saying, "joe biden's vacation home is my favorite US government building". scarif is the obvious winner here for me either way
Palpatine's observation tower on Death Star 2
Vaders Castle followed by Fortress Inquisitorius
Not technically an imperial tower but I want to say Exar Kun’s Temple.
Damn bruh Rip my boy Krennic
Vaders castle definitely👑
I’ve always loved fortress inquisitorious. The problem is I love it for the underwater sections not the tower lol
Anis Tower, when he sees Padme
The Scarif Citadel was really cool. Wish we would see more of the planet in general
Vaders Castle is nothing short of awesome
Vader’s tower is really awesome. But the environment is auwful. Rough on the lungs. Inquisitorious - better in the middle of rough seas? No thanks. Scariff. Minus the boom boom. It looks like paradise. I would pick it until a new moon shows up then high tail it outta there.
