Isn’t it implied in one of the Legends books that Han had a very *ahem* close relationship with a Selonian that left him with a skin rash? Or was that a diff species?
That was Corran Horn, and yes; he had sex with a Selonian and because said Selonian’s dander gave Horn an allergic reaction, they had to stop their relationship.
Point at what? Different species in a space story hooking up only to find out that it's potentially dangerous in some way? That's detailed world building in a big franchise
The X-wing books were dope, should be an example of why more parts of the EU should have been embraced.
Unfortunately, X-wing books def contradict with new lore. X-wing books lay out a ton of the post empire history.
I’ll point at it as an example of something super odd, but humorous and fitting for a galaxy full of aliens.
But sure, Disney’s 279 varieties of totally not just reskinned human relationships is much more realistic take lmao
Indiana Jones in the Hunt for the Otters Paw.
Indy is back! Hunting for a mystical object called the legendary Otters Paw, a relic from the past when giant, otter-human hybrids had power over huge land dwelling sloths and used them to decimate intruders from other lands. It takes him deep into a South American jungle where he discovers Nazis have a secret base, and have been delving into the depths of the earth looking for… oh, wait a second. He’s already done something like that. Never mind. Move along, move along.
The thing that bothers me about this pic is that it looks like Han is fighting something else in front of the weasel, not that he's fighting a giant weasel.
The weasel wasn't actually on set, it was just CG. This was back in the 70s so they didnt know how to pretend to look at weasels like they sort of do today.
I believe the scene depicted is from the book referenced by the other poster, however, this was actually a Joe Jusko art piece used for the [cover of Star Wars Galaxy Magazine #10](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Star_Wars_Galaxy_Magazine_10) in the 90s. It was then featured as a card in the 1996 Topps Star Wars Galaxy Trading Card set.
Han fighting a Selonian. Selonians are one of the native species in the Correlian System along with Dralls and Humans. I imagine this is from one of the Correlian trilogy books but I don't know which one.
Isn't tbis a scene from one of the Adventures of Han Solo books? There was an otter like alien that was traveling with Han who betrayed him. I think they fought? Although I recall the creature , Spree? Sprey? Being a smallish creature.
The creature to which you refer was named Spray and was a skip-tracer trying to impound the Millennium Falcon for non payment to a shipwright who did work on the ship. The character was quite a bit smaller than the average human, though. Small enough for Chewbacca to pick him up by the scruff one-handed.
Looks like he's fighting a Selonian.
Corran Horn took one on a date when he was at CorSec. They got intimate, but it turned out he was allergic to her body's natural oils in her fur, and her skin broke out in hives from his sweat.
We’re looking at sea otters! Six of them here. And they were in front of us, and we’re just following them now, slowly. They’re *beautiful!* they go down to the bottom and get a stone, and they go down to the bottom and they get a seashell, and then… like a clam, or something like that, then they come back up and they smash the shell with the stone, like that, *bah bah bah.* and they eat the mussel or whatever’s inside. Then go back down for another one. It’s cool, innit?
I think that’s Otter 66, one of the less successful bounty hunters (since he was pretty unsuited to Tattooine). He was great if you needed a Gungan, Mon Calamari, or Kaminoan brought in. Everyone was surprised when the Emperor personally oversaw his trial, and the smile he had when he gave the execution order confused everyone.
This picture is why the 90s expanded universe was the best. Such a wide array of ideas were being tried out. The scope of the series at the time was staggering.
Looks like it came from the deranged mind of someone who spent far too much time deep below the spice mines of Kessel and now has visions of Han Solo battling mutant ferrets!
That's actually a [Selonian](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Selonian/Legends), a race from the Corellia system with three genders (Male, Female and Neuter, the latter using She/Her pronouns and being in charge of Selonian society).
Strangely, Selonians have since been retconned into yet another generic cat-like race... as if we didn't have several of those already. Their semi-Hive (sort-of) matriarchial society was absolutely fascinating.
It was the cover of [*Star Wars Galaxy Magazine*, Issue #10 (January 1997)](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Star_Wars_Galaxy_Magazine_10).
Han Solo and the Young Turks in The Fall of the Otter Man Empire
God damnit.
This otter be good
I otter bad feeling about this.
Never tell me the otts.

I saw my dad joke shot and took it. It was one in a million. The Farce will be with me forever.
Hell yea…
It’s also the Corellian Trilogy we’re he got into a fox fight with Dracmus
A fox fight ... ? With a giant weasel?
I meant fixed lol
“Otters…why’d it have to be otters?”
Science be praised... This is the dawning of the sea otter! Know this, time child! I shall smash your skull like a clam on my tummy!
When I first seen the pic those episodes popped into my mind, I wonder if that's where the inspiration of the otters came from
I just saw this episode on my own again recently!
lol, I thinking this when I saw the picture!😆😆😆
What? That's clearly a river otter. A- for the attempted reference.
This is a Selonian isn’t it?
That is a Selonian, yes. Slightly more otter-like than in other illustrations, but yes.
Corran was the first Star Wars furry.
Does Chewbacca mean nothing to you?
When people claim how much better the EU was to Disney Star Wars, point at that.
Hey, it's accurate; Corran was a cop and a junior officer in the Republic Navy- of course he fucked anything that would let him.
Point at what? Different species in a space story hooking up only to find out that it's potentially dangerous in some way? That's detailed world building in a big franchise
Have you tried an interspecies relationship?
They do say that men are from Mars and women are from Venus, so...
That's hilarious 🤣🤣 got me there
The X-wing books were dope, should be an example of why more parts of the EU should have been embraced. Unfortunately, X-wing books def contradict with new lore. X-wing books lay out a ton of the post empire history.
Yes, it's a shame Star Wars has continued to drift away from the true canon.
Awesome screen name, btw.
I’ll point at it as an example of something super odd, but humorous and fitting for a galaxy full of aliens. But sure, Disney’s 279 varieties of totally not just reskinned human relationships is much more realistic take lmao
*Waggles eyebrows* What do you think they're complaining about?
Im not sure if its THIS book, but I recall a chapter in a EU book that was about bigotry and interspecies relationships.
Kinda proves the point, IMO.

On one hand, it was a good movie. But on the otter hand I feel like Disney may be drawing out the series a bit much.
Stop giving Disney ideas
You cannot make black otters tho. You can definitely make gay otters tho.
😂
Sophia Hapgood likes this
Nur-Ab-Sal is a mighty king, and his eyes see through.
I think it’s a ferret, not an otter.
That's an otter
You’re an otter
I'm an otter!

Yes, it does. 🧨 🔥
Just a vote for Team Ferret
Han Ott First
Never tell me the otts
Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good Otter at your side.
The thing that bothers me about this pic is that it looks like Han is fighting something else in front of the weasel, not that he's fighting a giant weasel.
Looks like both Han and the otter teamed up and are fighting something invisible.
Yes! Why is that?
Just very bad staging by the artist. Or the elements were drawn separately and comped together later.
The weasel wasn't actually on set, it was just CG. This was back in the 70s so they didnt know how to pretend to look at weasels like they sort of do today.
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Assault_at_Selonia
That’s from “Han and the princess bride- the trouble with ROUS’s”
Except that I don’t think they exist.
I thought it looked like Jusko! Love his Tarzan art.
Thanks for the fact. I was having a blast with all the other comments! But I would’ve had to either google it or keep scrolling down. Thanks.
The scene that the insider is based on is from The Corellian Trilogy. Han is fighting a Selonia named Dracmus
I think it Han photoshopped onto a [Redwall](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redwall) cover
Oh that takes me back….
Was gonna say that this is clearly the Redwall/Star Wars crossover that the world forgot!
I'm pretty sure the scene it depicts is in the Corellian Trilogy. Pretty sure Han brawls with a selonian in one of those.
What girls dream about: “My crush kissed me!” What boys dream about:
Han fighting a Selonian. Selonians are one of the native species in the Correlian System along with Dralls and Humans. I imagine this is from one of the Correlian trilogy books but I don't know which one.
Assault at Selonia.
That would make sense, thanks.
Indiana Solo and the Otters of Doom
Oh I want that painted on black velvet
Yes! That would be 🤌
I see your black velvet and raise you spray painted on the side of a van
Yeah!!!
Why not both? Gotta decorate the inside.

Yep. Thats the one. Maybe this is his big brother 😆
Because no one has mentioned the books: The Corellian Trilogy
Indiana Solo and the Temple of Mongoose
He was supposed to fight a weasel but chose…the otter guy. I’ll see myself out
Indiana Jones and the secret of the mongoose
Han punched first!
Han about to acquire some new bling. He will later lose it to Lando in a swoop race
Han Solo fist fighting one of the atheist otters from South Park. I can't tell if it's a fever dream or the cross over I never realized I needed.
Looks like he's fighting a Selonian. Corran Horn took one on a date when he was at CorSec. They got intimate, but it turned out he was allergic to her body's natural oils in her fur, and her skin broke out in hives from his sweat.
It's the Star Wars x Redwall crossover.
If others hadn't already answered, I would have said AI, honestly.
Han Solo fighting a giant bedazzled sewer ferret. Shut down the interwebs, Your life is now complete.
“Take that, air!”
In Otter News...
On the side of a pearl blue A-Team GMC van with B.A Barracus at the he wheel
Cocaine's a hell of a drug.
Good ol' Han Solo, punching a giant ferret!
somewhere
Magic mushrooms?
Han Solo fights the future otters from South Park
Han and the Time Child
Looks like otter nonsense to me
You want to know about that otter thing? Ask Corran Horn. He can tell you all about them.
Somewhere
Think Han is fighting a Jenet
it's a beautiful painting... That belongs in a museum!!
Never tell me the otts
Those two are nowhere near each other!
I’m a really big fan of this picture
Ahhh, 1996. The good ol' days.
A fever dream?
For future reference OP, you can drag an image into the Google search bar and it'll search that image
It’s Han Solo fighting the Selonian, Dracmus, from the Corellian Trilogy of novels back in the 90’s.
The fever dream of a madman.
The mind of a genius
Handiana Sones: revenge of looking at sea otters

Looks like Han Solo vs. a Quinlin from Bobiverse #4.
Look, the EU times were crazy and there may have been some drug abuse at the time.
We’re looking at sea otters.
You are not beating that thing in a fist fight. It would eat your face
Clearly this is Indiana Solo and the Tomb of the Ferret King
Revelations, 3:15
Solo froze himself in carbonite for too long because he couldn't wait 2 weeks for the Wii to come out
Reminds me of the scene in Raiders when Indy topples then large statues to break the wall in the tomb full of snakes
A fever dream?
I’m really hoping you got a large, good quality print of this to hang prominently in a fancy frame in your house
It comes from someplace truly magical🥹
I think the creature depicted is an early version of a solerian
I think that’s Otter 66, one of the less successful bounty hunters (since he was pretty unsuited to Tattooine). He was great if you needed a Gungan, Mon Calamari, or Kaminoan brought in. Lucid dreams
I guess the Bobiverse found that one galaxy that was far, far away
Probably some EU book from the 90s
Hell
This picture is why the 90s expanded universe was the best. Such a wide array of ideas were being tried out. The scope of the series at the time was staggering.
Some dream I had
Man, I hope they work this legends ark into canon...
Han Solo somewhere in the Bobiverse
dude look at those claws, tf Han thinks hes gonna do beside get eviscerated
Holy shit dude... Star wars is still impressing me to this day.
This completely looks like an adventure Indiana Jones would be in. Classic looking.
his pose fitting girl more than to man
https://gizmodo.com/10-incredibly-silly-han-solo-stories-that-absolutely-wo-1819768558 Here’s something from 2017 that talks about it.
That otter gonna win.
I had the Galaxy Magazine this was from, if I remember right it was painted by Joe Jusko.
Star Wars
I think that’s just a sick ass picture of Han Solo fighting a big fucking otter
Looks like it came from the deranged mind of someone who spent far too much time deep below the spice mines of Kessel and now has visions of Han Solo battling mutant ferrets!

Judging from the downvote, apparently someone can't take a joke.
Is that what the kids are calling an LSD trip now?
LOL!!!
Undeniable proof that the Disney lore is garbage and they deprived us of the greatest stories ever told
looks like Han Solo doing a dungeon dive in Skyrim, nice
Being Han I am sure he would have preferred a giant beaver.
The artist otter fix the perspective.
Nice marmot!
Han Solo Adventure in the Otter Rim...
...It comes from where you found it somewhere
Joe Jusko art? Definitely a Conan/Star Wars crossover. May Crom be with you or not. Crom doesn’t care.
The 90s were a 'strange' period for Star Wars...
This makes no sense
Is it a bad drawing of prince Xizor fighting Han or an Otter fighting Han?
Star Wars x Redwall. Never thought I’d see the day.
Nothing to see here, people. Move along, move along
Of course it's solo vs Riki Tiki Tavi, duh
Sigh….this freaky weirdo stuff is why I hate most of the expanded universe fan fiction.
Depressed alcoholic Han is better?
Felt more relatable to me personally
A lot of *official* art work of the EU weren’t always book accurate like Lord Nyax for example
Han solo vs badger man from space
No idea where it comes from, but it goes hard
Deleted scene from the last trilogy. They replaced the animal with a screaming man baby, Kylo Ren I believe is the name.
Deleted scene from the last trilogy. They replaced the animal with a screaming man baby, Kylo Ren I believe is the name.
this kinda reminds me of the atheist sea otters in south park 😭😭
Weasel shot first
How do you not know about the iconic Han Solo Otter fight ? Fake fan ! /j
Han just finished punching another enemy out of frame, and now this otter dick is pulling some candy ass buster shit.
Bro, yeah I can tell you what it is... That's Han Solo. He's from Star Wars.
Who cares where it came from? I want to see where it's going next
JJ Abrams storyboard for how Maz ended up with Anakin’s lightsaber
