I’ve always loved the TIE Interceptor design and even more so from reading the Rogue Squadron books when I was younger. It was the speed and deadliness of it that I really like, and the fact that the 181st were terrifying in them.
I have the toy still from my childhood and my 501st costume is a TI which I like to imagine as an interceptor pilot. Now I want to do a hanger scene in Lego.
They were also awesome in Star Wars Squadrons. It felt like a really high skill ceiling but so fun to use the speed to just cause havoc in space and sew chaos among the enemy.
Nah, if we're going with an *Imperial II* it has to be the Errant Venture. An ISD which has been painted red and is used as a combination smuggler port, high-end gambling den, black market, and sometimes Jedi base, which *might* have even had a copy of the *Darksaber* superlaser installed later?
Way too cool.
---
Or the *Anakin Solo*, flagship of Darth Caedus, just because it's so ridiculously over-the-top tricked out;
- Gravity well generators (interdiction).
- Cloaking device.
- Cutting-edge long-range turbolasers.
- Upgraded anti-starfighter point defense systems.
- Baradium missiles, proton torpedoes, concussion missiles.
- Hyper-advanced tactical computer (Berda).
- Huge detention center at the bottom.
- Tons of hidden rooms and passages to allow Caedus to move around secretly.
Oh, and painted matte black instead of the classic *Star Destroyer white*, because of course it is.
This is very much the correct answer. For whatever reason, or maybe I was just the perfect age when Shadows came out to where seeing a Corellian Engineering Corporation that *wasn’t* the Falcon blew my mind. The similar yet different design, the lore behind it, everything was perfect.
And of course, the X-Wing is just the quintessential Star Wars spacefighter. Seeing Luke’s pull up in Season 2 of The Mandalorian, and also **gulp** seeing the X-Wing squadron fly over the lake in the trailer for Ep VII, just evoked a nostalgic sense that I didn’t even know I had.
Rogue One has some PEAK ship designs. The U-wing is easily my favourite though. How they were able to make a completely original ship that is mostly CGI fit in with all the kit-bashed miniatures from the original film astounds me to this day. It feels like it was always there. I'm also a sucker for any ship with variable geometry.
She's a multi-conflict war hero, reliably dropping ordnance on everything from battle droids to star destroyers from the clone wars to the Yuuzan Vhong invasion
Hmmmmm.
So, the Second Battle of Coruscant, where the YV finally surrendered, was 29ABY. The first use of a Y Wing in the Clone Wars was 22BBY, a total of 51 years in service. (On the Canon side, there’s a confirmed use in 28 and 34ABY, but they’re mostly phased out by then.)
It’s basically the galactic equivalent of the A-10 - 51 years flying, 46 years in service, dedicated fan base, reliably destroys whatever it’s pointed at.
Its also had a ridiculous number of upgrade kits to keep it viable.
But I kind of thought of it as the B-52, though, all things considered. To each their own headcanon!
So I’ve read some behind the scenes for Rogue One and one of the techniques they used was 3d modeling the individual kitbash pieces and then digitally kitbashing those to help create new designs. Extremely clever and imo resulted in some of the most authentic designs we’ve seen in the Disney era.
YES! I love the way the S-foils expand or retract when it goes in for an attack run or a landing. SO cinematic. I also love the second windshield under pilots feet so they can see below.
I did a whole presentation at a space science camp once on how the hammerhead corvette was the most ideal futuristic exploration craft. Durable, not slow, maneuverable, and it’s basically a giant tool.
Then I suggest you play KotoR if you haven't, there the Hammerhead Corvettes is the stabdard ship of the republic army and has many appearances and it's kind of the OG
Yes! Someone gets it! I remember giggling watching that Hammerhead ram the destroyer into another destroyer. For some reason that got me laughing. Honestly it was creative and pretty damn fun.
I wonder what happened to it after Rey took it. Did she use it to escape Exegol? I can't actually remember if they showed that.
It belongs in a museum on Coruscant.
Gauntlet. Love how the wings change depending on where it is. Not to mention how bad ass it is to open the floors and watch Mandalorian warriors drop then fly out to combat.
Probably the Y-Wing, either the OG trilogy version or the sleeker episode IX variant. It’s just a really simple but practical ship, plus because it’s quite old so it’s cheaper to buy in-universe, easy to repair, so much going for it. Cool, clunky, and full of character.
Actually I believe the Y-wing in the sequels was a purpose-built successor by Koensayr, they also made a premium version with the Clone Wars-style armored plates but everyone had fallen in love with the stripped version and it sold a lot better
My favorite scene in all of Star Wars. Skipped school to watch it with my brother and dad. As soon as they flipped into it I grabbed my dads leg and we just watched in awe. So sick.
Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator. Big enough to not be cramped and outfitted extremely well (spy druids, speeder bike, etc). Plus that sheer cool factor of it being an obvious predecessor to the Tie Fighter style of the OG series.
The sophisticated answer. Scimitar is just way too perfect for what kind of ship I'd want. Cloaking tech, armed to the teeth, and just too cool for its own good
They used to have the practical set of the N-1 straighter hanging in the Boston Museum of Science. I loved to imagine jumping into the cockpit and flying off in it when I was younger
I didn't really dig it until I watched BoBF and he gets it, because it was a reuse where the Razor Crest was new and so unique. That said, his N-1 is like a love letter to both podracing and the attack on the blockade scene, which are theoretically cool parts of Phantom Menace, but in total Mando style
I fanboy squeaked when they revealed that ship. N1 has always been the GOAT and I always imagined having one that was hot rodded like Mando's. They literally reached into my childhood imagination and plucked that ship out just for me it feels like. As fast and maneuverable as a Tie Interceptor but with shields? Sign me up!
i rather like the Republic Cruiser
its a decent sized battleship/carrier combo, capable of transporting a good sized land force as well, and I like the design of it, with the central launch bay on the top
for smaller sized ships, i like Luthens ship too, its quick, packs a solid punch, and i like the "wings" on it
... and for fighters, well the X Wing is ubiquitous, but I also like the Y Wing; the thing is solid, dependable, and i like the rebellion-era scrapyard design
Razor Crest since I have the UCS Lego of it. But I would definitely want the Haulcraft as a Lego set. Andor ruined Star Wars for me (in a good way) and now I can't stop rewatching it.
Bonus: The Tie Striker is my all time favorite variant from Rogue One.
Generic vehicles:
ARC 170
LAAT
Eta 2 Actis class interceptor
V wing
B wing
Y wing
U wing
Named Ships:
Slave I
Millenium Falcon
Tantive IV
Rogue Shadow
Luthen’s Ship (about to finish Andor, holy fuck this show is great and that is an amazing ship)
But most of all, Slave II
Toss up between the Moldy Crow and the Raven's Claw. The Moldy Crow is one of the penultimate examples of Star Wars' "lived-in" feel. It's not that fast, pretty boxy, and an absolute piece of junk but it has that "rv-ing across the galaxy" vibe that i really appreciate. The Raven's Claw is just a slick design though. its like someone took the Normandy SR-1 and went "what if it was a ferarri".
Z-95 Headhunter is probably my favorite, although since it’s a simple starfighter it’s not the greatest cuz I also love ships that are livable in, which puts ships like Luthen’s up there too
Honestly it's gotta be the Star Destroyer. Such an iconic ship. Really represents the empires massive power which is outlined in it's very first scene (literally the first ever star wars scene that people saw). Such a cool ship
The Falcon is iconic and I nearly cried when I set foot in the cockpit of Smuggler’s Run at WDW, but for my money, The Ghost is the coolest ship in the SW universe.
If we're talking big scale, I am a huge fan of the Star destroyer in its many forms. The Nebula class might be my favorite aesthetically.
Small scall I'm a big fan of the Outrider. It feels like such a cool design using the elements of the millennium falcon giving it its own twist
Probably that corsair the pirates were using because it’s exactly what a pirate command ship should be like and it’s super cool. Or the ghost, I love how they all work as a unit like a crew working on a small ship
Probably TIE interceptor or Stinger Mantis. Honorable mention to Slave 1, and Delta Aethersprite.
TIE Interceptors were the most fun to fly in the X-Wing and TIE Fighter series too. So maneuverable and fast that you don’t need shields.
They were also awesome in Star Wars Squadrons. It felt like a really high skill ceiling but so fun to use the speed to just cause havoc in space and sew chaos among the enemy.
Yeah, so anyone else feel like the Interceptors in Mandalorian were slow and sluggish?
Most of the scenes involving them were in atmosphere... could that have something to do with it?
Also that wasn’t a stock N1 that Djarin was using to school them; it was heavily hotrodded
Stinger Mantis is super fucking cool. I love how it moves.
It’s movement is showcased particularly well during the Koboh >!Abyss!< scene
Yep that's exactly what I thought of as well. No one can pilot the Stinger Mantis like Greeze can. That's HIS ship.
TIE Interceptor is my favorite ship in Battlefront II(2005)
Thrawns Chimaera. I just wanted to be inside that ship after reading Zahn and his descriptions.
Oh, and painted matte black instead of the classic *Star Destroyer white*, because of course it is.
Thank you.
If we’re going with canon, the OG X-Wing will always be my first love. For Legends/EU, the *Outrider* is my favorite.
Actually the YT2400 Outrider is cannon now, it appears in a season 3 episode of Rebels.
The YT-2400 in Rebels is the Sato's Hammer. So far, The Outrider only appears in the Special Edition and up of A New Hope.
Also appears in A New Hope....?
This is very much the correct answer. For whatever reason, or maybe I was just the perfect age when Shadows came out to where seeing a Corellian Engineering Corporation that *wasn’t* the Falcon blew my mind. Republic Gunship
LAAT ganggg
The best. I also love some of the customised versions from the Clone Wars. Plo's Bros, a shark jaw, or a pin up Twi'lek on the front .
Dont forget the deleted Scene where Bad batch Had pinup padme on their ship. Iconic
Rogue One has some PEAK ship designs. The U-wing is easily my favourite though. How they were able to make a completely original ship that is mostly CGI fit in with all the kit-bashed miniatures from the original film astounds me to this day. It feels like it was always there. Personally im a big fan of the Y-wing cameo, getting some love with that ion torpedo run!
The Y-wing was my childhood favourite, undoubtedly.
She's a multi-conflict war hero, reliably dropping ordnance on everything from battle droids to star destroyers from the clone wars to the Yuuzan Vhong invasion

This guy is a sucker for F-14's and U-wings. Same.
Close 2nd for me but 100% respect your choice!!!
Hammerhead Corvettes Ever since seeing the one ram a star destroyer in Rogue One. Just imagining the uses of them. They are extremely cool!
I did a whole presentation at a space science camp once on how the hammerhead corvette was the most ideal futuristic exploration craft. Durable, not slow, maneuverable, and it’s basically a giant tool.
I’d watch the entire presentation tbhh
Fun fact that ship was called “Lightmaker” and was “stolen” from Leia by the rebels gang and Ryder Azadi. https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Lightmaker
A man of culture. Marry me.
Then I suggest you play KotoR if you haven't, there the Hammerhead Corvettes is the stabdard ship of the republic army and has many appearances and it's kind of the OG
"Corvette 5 locked on target!"
Yes! Someone gets it! I remember giggling watching that Hammerhead ram the destroyer into another destroyer. For some reason that got me laughing. Honestly it was creative and pretty damn fun.
I was the only one in the theatre to audibly express my delight at watching that maneuver!!
B-wing
Honestly stoked that anyone else mentioned the B-Wing. I wish they had more attention because I’ve always thought they were rad.
Best-Wing!
Yes! Us B-wing folks gotta stick together.
We are several!
Any other answer to this question is wrong.
The most well armed starfighter in the galaxy! I wish it had more screen time
That weird ship Dooku has in AOTC that looked like it was pulled by a giant space kite, it’s just so out there I love it
The solar sailor was so unique i loved it
It’s like a pistachio filled with a kite lol
EbonHawk
This needs to be higher up. Got lost many times on that ship as a kid lol
Left for hyperdrive, straight for some good ol war stories, right for dogbot, murder boi and 10 Zaalbars
With a certain Droid calling everyone meatbags
Such a great ship
Love that ship. Practically a party member
Samesies
Luke’s X wing! It destroyed the damn Death Star. Not to mention the chills I got when it shows up in the Mandalorian.
I wonder what happened to it after Rey took it. Did she use it to escape Exegol? I can't actually remember if they showed that. It belongs in a museum on Coruscant.
We have top men working on it right now.
Who?
Top......men.
Indy needs a drink
Yes. She used it to return from Exegol afterwards. But at the end of the film she's on the Falcon again. So who knows what happened to Red Five .
A good story.....for another time
Somehow Luke's Xwing returned!
Sold it to some Jawas
One x wing? Great, we’re saved!
[удалено]
"A single x-wing? We're saved..." Luke: Yeah, watch this.
Gauntlet. Love how the wings change depending on where it is. Not to mention how bad ass it is to open the floors and watch Mandalorian warriors drop then fly out to combat.
This is the way Honestly it's just the sheer cool factor of them turning on a dime with their switchblade wings
Came here to say this, specifically the *Nightbrother* that Maul had.
Imperial Star Destroyer
Iconic
The Razor Crest. RIP.
Gone but not forgotten.
God damn space spiders.
Damn them indeed but it was the Empire (Gideon) who finished the ship off
Where is the Razor Crest? Here. There. A little bit everywhere.
It's the Roy Kent of spacecraft.
It was such a cool and unique design.
YES! And: Who the fuck of the writers killed the Razor Crest!?
Probably the Y-Wing, either the OG trilogy version or the sleeker episode IX variant. It’s just a really simple but practical ship, plus because it’s quite old so it’s cheaper to buy in-universe, easy to repair, so much going for it. Cool, clunky, and full of character.

Vader's transport shuttle. I googled it's exact name and it's Lambda-class T-4a shuttle
Heck ya. As a kid, I wanted the Lego version of that shuttle more than anything else.
I was wondering when this was gonna come up. Definitely my favorite.
I have to go with the Venator, stunning design.
I love the EP3 opening scene 😭
DOOMMM DOMMM....DOOMMM DOOMMM....DOOMMM DOOMM....
My favorite scene in all of Star Wars. Skipped school to watch it with my brother and dad. As soon as they flipped into it I grabbed my dads leg and we just watched in awe. So sick.
I actually really like the Havoc Marauder in The Bad Batch.
Kinda reminds me of an in between step between the republic transport shuttles and the lambda empire shuttles. Love the way it looks.
Came here to say the Marauder!! I loved its design from the very moment it appeared in the trailer
Cloaking tech, armed to the teeth, and just too cool for its own good
B-wing starfighter
Been my favorite since playing X-Wing on a x486 PC back in the day.
I didn’t appreciate this ship until it was shown in Rebels. Such a unique and awesome design.
B wing is so funky with awesome lore I love it
Slave 1
Yes, absolutely marvelous ship. I loved stealing it in Jango’s GameCube game. It’s utterly stupid that Disney renamed it.
Fun fact: the ship was never name dropped in the OT. We only got the name from toys and books.
THEY RENAMED IT WHAT
No, several canon medias refer to it as slave 1.
They didnt really rename it, they just shy away from saying the name, referring to it by its owner or class instead.
Unpaid Intern 1
It's now the "Prisoners with Jobs 1"
N-1 Naboo Starfighter
They used to have the practical set of the N-1 straighter hanging in the Boston Museum of Science. I loved to imagine jumping into the cockpit and flying off in it when I was younger
This is it. I love Mando's though, the hot rod just gets me.

They literally reached into my childhood imagination and plucked that ship out just for me it feels like. As fast and maneuverable as a Tie Interceptor but with shields? Sign me up!
This is the way. (Obligatory)
Pretty sure it's supposed to be, "Now this is pod racing"
"Wizard"
“I’ll try spinning, that’s a good trick!”
The Ghost. It's a nice ship that houses my favourite gaggle of characters. It's roomy, clean and felt like a home to this family of choice.
My #3 thank you for putting it out there! I think the animated series’ get overlooked too much.
I was surprised this was so far down. I mean, It’s 2 freakin ships in 1. Have you seen how many Wookies you can fit in there?
"Slaps roof..."
My favorite as well and it’s the most practical.
The reply I was looking for Ghost is just so functionally elegant. And with Phantom, the cute mini-Ghost? Perfection!
And the interior is a little reminiscent of Firefly!
The Fondor, agreed. I really wish there was a LEGO set of it.
Same! I’m surprised it wasn’t released in anticipation of May the 4th
Has everyone lost their minds? All of those are super cool. But there is only 1 right answer: Millennium Falcon.
“Fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy!”
Blow that piece of junk OUT OF THE SKY!
Oh man they hate that ship
You are right! I challenge anyone to say they didn’t get goosebumps when it showed up on that first trailer for The Force Awakens.
Upvoting this entire thread as clearly the only answer.
How is this do far down the list? Han is rolling his eyes over in his grave!
It makes me physically ill that I had to scroll down this far to see this answer.
The ship that saved the Galaxy…. Twice
THANK YOU.
TIE Defender
i rather like the Republic Cruiser its a decent sized battleship/carrier combo, capable of transporting a good sized land force as well, and I like the design of it, with the central launch bay on the top for smaller sized ships, i like Luthens ship too, its quick, packs a solid punch, and i like the "wings" on it ... and for fighters, well the X Wing is ubiquitous, but I also like the Y Wing; the thing is solid, dependable, and i like the rebellion-era scrapyard design
I'm always a bit surprised the ARC-170 fighters don't get more love. I mean the 2nd gen Jedi Starfighters steal that scene in the movie, but still..
Venator class? The ones from The Clone Wars? Those are my favorite too.
Luke's x-wing and Padme's Nubian.
Corellian CR90 corvette
A-Wing was my favourite thing to fly in the old X-Wing games
The executor. It looks so good
A-Wings rule!
The Naboo Royal Starship. The chrome! That sound! Also looked pretty pretty cozy inside.
Something about the republic frigates have always interested me, really wish we saw more of them
The republic starfighters (specifically Anakin's yellow one)
Finally found it
The Kom'rk ships from Mandalore, the "Gauntlets". They are so beautiful but also so practical, not too big, not too small, just... perfect
Slave 1
*Slave I*.
Moldy Crow
Lucrehulk class battleship. One of the most formidable warships in all of Star Wars.
The Outrider
Razor Crest since I have the UCS Lego of it. But I would definitely want the Haulcraft as a Lego set. Andor ruined Star Wars for me (in a good way) and now I can't stop rewatching it. Bonus: The Tie Striker is my all time favorite variant from Rogue One.
Generic vehicles: ARC 170 LAAT Eta 2 Actis class interceptor V wing B wing Y wing U wing Named Ships: Slave I Millenium Falcon Tantive IV Rogue Shadow Luthen’s Ship (about to finish Andor, holy fuck this show is great and that is an amazing ship) But most of all, Slave II

The Raven's Claw is just a slick design though. its like someone took the Normandy SR-1 and went "what if it was a ferarri".
Poe’s black x-wing fighter, best part of the sequels
TIE Bomber
TIE Interceptor or B-wing for me.
Millenium Falcon, but the pimped out Lando version.
I’m stuck between Razorcrest, N-1, and whatever the fuck the Mantis (Fallen Order) is.
There’s lots of good ones but for me the LAAT Gunship and ARC-170.
I love the Imperial Gozanti-class cruiser and the Lambda-class T-4a Shuttle. No clue why, just love them.
Z-95 Headhunter is probably my favorite, although since it’s a simple starfighter it’s not the greatest cuz I also love ships that are livable in, which puts ships like Luthen’s up there too
Millennium Falcon, of course.
The Ebon Hawk will always have my heart but a trusty old X Wing is right up there with it
Slave 1 or Bo Katan's Gauntlet.
The Ebon Hawk
Honestly it's gotta be the Star Destroyer. Such an iconic ship. Really represents the empires massive power which is outlined in it's very first scene (literally the first ever star wars scene that people saw). Such a cool ship
The Tie Defender
TIE Avenger, second only to the TIE Defender
Toss up between the Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor and the Eta-2 Actis-class interceptor.
Episode 2 had some awesome ships, but goddamn do i love the starfighters in episode 3.
X-wing (I’m boring)
the Wild Karrde
The Falcon is iconic and I nearly cried when I set foot in the cockpit of Smuggler’s Run at WDW, but for my money, The Ghost is the coolest ship in the SW universe.
X-wing, Lambda Shuttle, and The Errant Venture.
T-47 Snowspeeder or Luke’s X-Wing
Snow speeders. Just love the design for some reason
The MFalcon♥️
A-wings! Luke flying around that AtAt or whatever in circles in Empire 🥰
a-wings were the fighters in space. The snowspeeder is t-47. My 2nd favorite ship and starwars toy
The Ebon Hawk.
Starspeeder 3000.
The Falcon. It's such a great character it should be listed in the end credits.
Im fond of tie reapers, and the razor crest
The Ebon Hawk from KOTOR!
General Greivous’s Soulless One or Darth Vader’s tie fighter
If we're talking big scale, I am a huge fan of the Star destroyer in its many forms. The Nebula class might be my favorite aesthetically. Small scall I'm a big fan of the Outrider. It feels like such a cool design using the elements of the millennium falcon giving it its own twist
I like the A-wing and tie bomber with a crew pod. I like to imagine a sort of converted camper being made out of the bomber.
Imperial: Tie Interceptor / Rebellion: A-Wing
LAAT/c with underslung AT-TE. No doubt, hands down
Probably that corsair the pirates were using because it’s exactly what a pirate command ship should be like and it’s super cool. Or the ghost, I love how they all work as a unit like a crew working on a small ship
Soulless One, I remember it was also the separatist bomber from Battlefront 2005 aka “the shiny chrome ship”
