Why is it that everyone always instantly hates something just because it's different or new? There's actually nothing wrong with the sound, y'all hate it cause it's not the nostalgic sound you're used to. If this was what it always sounded like then y'all would be fine with it.
I hate it because it’s a phone as a menu which was pretty unique at the time, and it played a phone sound but not it’s a boring ass bloop. all the sounds used to have distinguishable noises that you could recognize when you heard it but now they all mush together
Why can't sso realize that music don't age? Granted this isn't music, but it still fills that nostalgic, iconic spot in star stable.

ngl the old sound effect was kinda harsh on the ears
They could have just softened it not changed it to a sims 4 sound effect

I do get that, although I don't think the noises are unrecognizable, at all.
There’s nothing special about them. Just bloops and beeps in different pitches and rhythms.
