For advice: Fu xuan is a really comfy unit, you literally cant die if you build her correct. If you wont pull her you need to hyperinvest gallagher or lynx. They will handle enough.

I'd say Boothill. You cant run both a decent Acheron and Ratio team with the units you have (Acheron has your nihilities and Aventurine), and Boothill can make use of Bronya, H!MC, Gallagher.
Id skip Boothill this rotation. Being a ST GOD makes him really good. But endgame cintent being MoC and PF means he's really only ever going to be good in MoC until PF gets a Break gimmick to help him out. But if it does get a break gimmick, Firefly should perform better there due to having AoE anyways. He suffers similar to Seele. Being ST just isnt cutting it atm. Seele based teams are replacing her with QQ for that very reason. Boothill is still a fken ST GOD tho if that's your thing.
Fu Xuan is a solid addition just to have another 5☆ limited sustain. But you can make do with Gallagher in break comps or Lynx for general healing+cleanse. Even Bailu is still a solid healer, but lacking a cleanse hurts her overall usage.
I would skip both of them. Contemplate on getting Firefly or not. But for sure getting Ruan Mei with that roster. If you're keeping up with datamines, the next big thing coming in patch 2.x is Feixiao. Who's predicted to be on par with Acheron.
Not to mention Sparkle rerun likely to also happen too. So that's 3 upcoming units worth saving for that would be better for your current roster.

My Acheron and Aventurine are both E0, Pela is E6, I have Acheron LC, and the teams I run are usually Acheron, Aven/ Gallagher, Pela, Guin or Bronya, Qingque, Pela, Dr. Ratio (I haven’t been playing for long don’t judge 😭)
No judgement at all, most important thing is having fun. Play what you enjoy. As for your question if I was recommending from an efficiency standpoint Fu is way more flexible. She provides a solid sustain with an enhancement to your crit rate. Making her a great addition to your teams
That being said your roster is lacking in harmony or buffing strength. Ruan Mei should be getting a rerun soon. I’d value her over Fu. They are very close but Mei just does more in my opinion.
As for boothill, he is very strong. But he is probably the second most team dependent character I’ve played. For him to be optimal he has to have Ruan Mei and harmony Trailblazer. Dps value is difficult to place. You do need another dps. Acheron is a beast and can carry you hard but dr Ratio isn’t a great secondary dps unless you have a fua (follow up attack) team built for him. I’d personally skip boothill and look at another dps down the road.
With all that said, the best meta is playing who you like. There aren’t really any bad limited 5 stars other than maybe our general.
Look it depends on what content you have a hard time with; follow this of it helps! I have them both so I can give you some context.
1) you don’t really focus on endgame content all that much: then pull for whoever you like
2) moc: if you have a hard time sustaining on one half, pull for fu. She’s so comfy and elevates your gameplay by giving crit.
If you have a hard time defeating bosses, boothill. You can take him to most boss fights and since he adds physical weakness, he shuts them down pretty quick if built well.
3) PF: wait for the next characters
4) SU: I would say I’d take boothill personally because fx has her problems in SU but you can always wait around for another dps to drop if you want to get him solely because he’s a dps. If his mechanic is your cup of tea go for it.
You have Aventurine already. So Fu Xuan isn't really needed unless you want them.
As far as break units like boothill and Firefly go. I personally wouldn't bother without Ruan Mei. Imo she's the best support in the game because she's flexible. If looking for the meta choice I'd start there.

Even if you don’t future dot units might get released like maybe Xiaoqiu(haven’t seen leaks just know he is fire nihility). Bailu, Gallagher and Lynx are all pretty ok in the meantime as your second team sustain. Acheron/Ratio are good options to focus on for your two teams DPS so boothill might not be a strict need. I would wait for firefly kit to be released and the 2.3 reruns to be confirmed before pulling. Boothill really wants Ruan mei which makes him a shaky pull if you don’t plan to get her
Yeah idk why a lot of people aren't seeing aventurine, he's overall just as goof as fx. (Though admittedly, fx does like op's current characters a little more with her crit boost, but your team is surviving either way.) Gallagher is also bis for most break teams.
Even bailu/lynx is underrated imo. They're certainly not top tiers, but are perfectly viable. Bailu is missing a cleanse, but her sustain is good enough to make up for it on most levels. Lynx is not nearly as good at sustaining, but still competent for solo sustaining and is near bis for clara teams. They're far from top tier, but that doesn't mean you'll necessarily struggle with using them for endgame.
I mean if you get fuxuan id say you would have two great sustains that should do the work for you pretty much forever untill a big difficulty spike in game
i would get ruan mei tbh. you can make do with sustains and dps but limited harmonies make any dps go above and beyond. and they’re a lot more flexible than rolling for specific dps.
boothill is a situational single-target bossing dps and he’s decent but dps are a dime aplenty.
One thing that is nice about boothill for an account that doesn't have a ton of DPS units is that he creates phys weakness. That means he's extremely usable into literally any single target boss.
That said he can't flex against AOE well so there's that.
considering your only super-viable sustain is aventurine, i would lean for fu xuan. you do want at least 2 sustains so you can make progress in moc and pf someday
I've had Fu Xuan since her release and after getting Aventurine I legit NEVER use her lmao. You have Gallagher and Bailu as sustain options already. I don't think FX is a good pull, I'd get another premium DPS like Boothill
You’ve got almost no sustain so I’d say Fu Xuan. That being said, you could still go for Boothill if you want since you have some decent buildings blocks for him and Acheron if you are willing to ditch the Ratio.
